Description of Work: I have not yet decided who I will hire to install new heat pump. Aaron at Clark and Rush talked with me and sent me a quote for what I needed to have done. I liked them very much and may end up using them for the install, but right now I still want to talk with another couple companies.

Description of Work: Completely new Carrier Infinity HVAC installation. Cost is after rebates/discounts and includes 2 years of maintenance service (2 spring and 2 fall tune-up). We went with the highest end product we could find after a lot of research and went with Clarke and Rush based on their experience with Carrier and other reviews. |Very professional and courteous service. All work completed on time and within budget. They handled all the paperwork for SMUD rebate, permit, etc. Call back to fix new style thermostat control and unit was replaced no questions asked. Had a call to repair some duct work a few month later. While they didn't install the duct work, they were responsible for inspection upon installation, so they repaired it at no additional cost. |Great group who stands by their work and are very experienced with Carrier systems.

Description of Work: Seasonal AC checkup. The technician was courteous and answered all the questions I had. We have used Clarke & Rush for seasonal checkups for many years. I switched to another contractor one year and then switched right back to C&R the following year as they are much more reliable.

Description of Work: Since using Clarke & Rush before for air ducts I didn't hesitate to call them for an outside drain problem. Firstly, they didn't return my phone call. Then they didn't show up during the two-hour window time stated to me and did not have the decency to call me to let me know they weren't showing up. They made no apologies and it seemed they didn't need or want the business. Very unprofessional - they've lost our business and word-of-mouth is the kiss of death in our community.

OUR "IN HOUSE" REPORT NOTES THAT WE WERE SCHEDULED TO PROVIDE SERVICE IN THE NOON TO 6PM TIME FRAME. WE CALLED THIS MEMBER AT 1:15PM AND LEFT A MESSAGE THAT WE WERE READY TO ARRIVE W/IN THE NEXT 30 MINUTES AND FOR HER TO CALL TO VERIFY HER AVAILABILITY. WE RECEIVED NO CALL AND MOVED ON W/ OUR SCHEDULE. NOW I WILL STATE THAT WE HAD PROBLEMS W/ ONE OF OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE TECHS AND WE HAVE SUBSEQUENTLY PARTED COMPANY W/ HER. WE SHOULD HAVE PROVIDED A SECOND CALL AS A COURTESY AND I FOUND OUR CUST. SVC. REP WAS NOT DOING THIS. WE DID NOT GET A FOLLOW UP CALL FROM THIS MEMBER THOUGH TO RESCHEDULE. WE ARE CURRENTLY INVOLVED IN UPGRADING OUR PROCESS OF HANDLING OUR SCHEDULED CALLS AND ARE EMPHASIZING THE NEED FOR A FOLLOW UP CALL OUT OF COURTESY. I WOULD BE GLAD TO PROVIDE THIS CUSTOMER WITH A FREE HEATING OR COOLING SEASON MAINTENANCE FOR HER COMFORT SYSTEM FOR HER TROUBLE. THIS BEING AN $89.00 VALUE.
