History Capitol City Granite, Inc. was founded in 2004 by its President, Marcos Gouveia and incorporated in 2005. We offer custom fabrication and installation of natural granite slab, quartz and solid surface products for commercial, medical and residential clients throughout Northern California. At the beginning of 2013 we expanded our business – Capitol City Granite Construction, Inc. to include electrical services along with general construction and maintenance. Our management and crews have over 30 years combined experience of new construction, maintenance and repair services within the commercial and residential construction industry. Our Philosophy about Working with Clients At Capitol City Granite Construction, Inc. we have had the opportunity to build relationships with multiple contractors and architects throughout Northern California region within the commercial industry and had the privilege of working on Folsom High School Library, Salinas Medical Offices, Sacramento Airport – La Bou Restaurant, Tahoe Fire Station and William Joseph High School Monument Signs, just to name a few. We welcome and encourage client participation at every step in the process. Our number-one goal is to ensure our clients are 100% satisfied. Our experience, belief in open communication and high quality standards enables us to guide clients through each phase of the building process. Experience and Expertise Chief Executive Officer, Marcos Gouveia is a Brazilian native who brings into the stone industry 18 years ofe xperience as a CNC machinist in the Precision Manufacturing environment thereby providing beautiful and detailed stonework. He has been a licensed contractor for almost10 years creating long term relationships and referral based clientele by providing honest, quality work and reliable services. Chief Financial Officer, Mark Nanney brings over 20 years experience within the construction field. He has 2 years experience providing general maintenance of dormitory rooms at Pacific Union College and over 15 years experience within the Telecom industry alone, providing everything from new construction to emergency repair calls (including electrical, general construction, and HVAC repairs) for Nextel, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Metro PCS. We pride ourselves on our reputation for staying on budget and on schedule and providing high-quality work. We are fully insured, licensed, bonded and obtain all the necessary permits needed to complete the job.
