Cali Custom Coatings

When we inspected the property last year, we discovered that some repairs were needed before painting could begin. That got complicated, then winter set in. Rob kept in touch and always responded promptly. After repairs were completed, he scheduled the work, coordinated with tenants, and had the job done over a long weekend. Some older wood required more prep than usual. It looks terrific!

These are young men, but the owner, Rob, has been working with paint since he was 16 (in his parents' paint store). He has a great sense of color and is not afraid to do something unusual. He took the time to listen to what we wanted to accomplish in our paint scheme and even made recommendations from a competitor's paint choices (Rob uses Sherwin Williams and the competitor uses Kelly Moore). When we chose Cali Custom Coating as our contractor, Rob helped us make the final decision on how to place our final body and main trim colors and actually made the final decision on the 3rd accent color from 2 we had chosen. He was always on time starting with the first estimate, then the 2nd visit before we made our final contractor choice. He and his 2 man crew were on time each of the 2 1/2 days of the prep and painting. The crew all like each other and work well together. They were very thorough and had an eye for detail. The reader of this account may know what I am talking about when I ask if you have noticed that sometimes when you have work done for you by a professional they have an attitude that your concerns and even the job is and quot;more bother (to them) than it is worthand quot; - don't they often seem burned out??? Well, not with Rob and his crew...they liked what they were doing and took enjoyment from the successful completion of the project and our satisfaction. I cannot and would not say anything negative about them or their work. I will use them when I need to do interior painting as well. We are soooo very happy we chose Cali Custom Coating as our painters and soooo happy with the result.

Their pricing is medium and they are reasonably priced. They are organized and perform good detailed work. They are detail oriented and have good workmanship. I like their quality and attention to detail. They are easy to work with and are easy to call since they always call me back. They gave me a number of samples and showed up on time. They are just a superior contractor.
