Description of Work: I did not use this glass installer

Description of Work: I called Auto Glass Now on Tuesday at 3pm. They helped me by contacting my insurance via a conference call. They made an appointment for the following afternoon. The installer called me as we was leaving his previous job. He arrived around 3pm the next day and quickly replaced the windshield at. The installer was very careful and very professional as he worked.

Description of Work: I needed to replace the windshield on my BMW. I arranged for Glass Pro to come to my home to do the job. The service tech was right on time, however, the windshield he brought was incorrect. This was due to my error, not theirs. Anyway, since I had to go to work I had to reschedule for the following day. I was told I would be the first on the list. The next day the tech arrived on time but informed me that the windshield he picked up was chipped and he preferred not to install it but that he would if I wanted him to. I agreed to again wait and thanked him for his honesty. I was informed that if he were to return with another windshield that day, he would not be able to return until approximately 4:30 p.m. and I had to be at work by 5:00p.m. So, I agreed to wait another day. He assured me that I would be first on the list and that it would be another individual coming out to do the work because it was his day off. Fine. The following morning came and at 11:30 a.m. I received a call that the service trucks were just leaving the shop (my home is appx. 6 miles away). At 1:00 p.m. I became concerned because I had to be to work at 3:00 p.m. At 1:30 I received a call from the driver saying he was right down the street and would be right there. It was 2:00 when he arrived. At 2:30 the job was completed. However, there was no time to allow the windshield to set, I had already called in late for work, and as I was preparing to pay him when I noticed that the rubber seal that goes around the windshield was curled under in two obvious places. I pointed this out and he quickly went to work fixing it... or so I thought. I had gone back inside to prepare to leave for work and he had left. I came out to leave and saw that the problem had not been corrected. I contacted the company and eventually (2 days later) drove to their shop to take care of the matter. The person on duty got a dental-type picking tool and proceeded to pick out the portions that were curled under. I was told that it might take a couple of days for it to relax and lay correctly in place and that it really shouldn't concern me because the seal had nothing to do with sealing in the windshield and was purely cosmetic. Okay. It's been 2 months and the seal hasn't "relaxed" or settled into place and it looks just like it was never touched. Tacky! But, the windshield doesn't leak! It sure looks tacky though! Both sides of the windshield look like a chunk of rubber is missing and across the top there is a place in the middle that isn't stuck down at all. Not sticklers for detail, these guys; but, again, the windshield doesn't leak!

Description of Work: Just a week ago somebody walked by and smashed my grandson's car, the passenger rear window was broken. And they also replaced the front window on our Ford Taurus previously and then we had a driver side window on the Honda replaced, and my daughter's car, the driver side window were broken and they replaced them. So probably we have used them 3 or 4 times this year.
