Description of Work: They cleared the line that was clogging up and backing up water into the kitchen sink. I had called about two hours before and was impressed by the quick response and efficient, professional and courteous service of the Mark, the employee who performed the work.

Description of Work: The water heater had started leaking, so I called Armstrong Plumbing and they were able to fit me in the same day I called. The plumber and his apprentice arrived at the time scheduled and within 2 hours, the old water heater was drained and removed and a new one installed. After the job was completed, they took the time to describe exactly what they had done--replaced old pipes, etc., and how to maintain the new heater. They were both very professional and polite.

Description of Work: Problem: leaking water main from meter to house. Installed new pipe from meter to house using the most direct path. They were the only company to offer an alternative. They dug a new trench (~10 feet), tunneled under small portion of sidewalk, drilled small hole in cement, routed pipe through garage - up and over rafters - then connected to water line in garage. Now that water comes in this way, the water is less cold. Started about 10am and finished about 4:30pm.

Description of Work: George showed up and fixed a problem that I have been living with for 10 years! He is great at this job and very pleasant. Other companies had come out and now I don't have to stay home while the laundry washes! I had a coupon on that made the experience even better!

Description of Work: Receptionist very rude on the phone. Kept interupting me, and did not want to hear that I needed my toilet fixed today. She hung up on me!

Description of Work: I attempted to use Armstrong Plumbing. I had to call twice before they finally showed up to inspect/estimate the work needed. After I got the estimate, I called to schedule the work. No one answered so I left a voice message saying I wanted to schedule the work they had estimated. No one called me back - until 3 weeks later. By then I had found a plumber (Service Now Plumbing) that came out on the same day I called, gave me an estimate and did the work on the same day. So I will not be calling Armstrong again. Service Now Plumbing out of Roseville was quick to respond, did excellent work and was $100 cheaper than the Armstrong estimate.

Description of Work: Busted the garbage disposal and Armstrong was right over with the repair. Fast and efficient.

Description of Work: Drain problems. Repair person was polite and professional. He fixed the problems quickly and also gave some good advice on how to prevent problems in the future. Description of Work: I used Armstrong rwice, once for replacement of a leaking water heater,and later for the replacement of a broken underground pipe.In both instances they were proferssional,prompt,and their pricing was fair. I had had previous estimates on the pipe repair that proposed tearing up my kitchen floor and 4-5k expenses . They were able to find a way to replace the pipe from the exterior. The figure above reflects the costs associated with the pipe replacement (which took 1 full day's labor)

Description of Work: They responded quickly to a leaking faucet in a rental property. Also analyzed the slow draining sink problem and notified me of a small problem that I can correct. Very polite.

Description of Work: Our Master bath shower started to run slowly on Friday morning and by Saturday it was completely backed up. My husband attempted to unplug the clog with our snake as well as pouring a harsh "guaranteed to work" chemical down our drain twice without budging the clog. George arrived right on time and went straight upstairs to work on our clogged shower. He ended up getting the clog unplugged within 40 minutes of arriving. He left me with a clogged drain, but didn't drain our bank account. We have used them one time before and had a very similar experience. Armstrong is now our go-to plumbing service. They have loyal customers in us!

Description of Work: I had 3 plumbing issues and the plumber diagnosed all 3 very quickly and fixed the problem. I was impressed with his professionalism (he had his own plumbing business in the past and clearly understands customer service). I'll definitely use them again.

Description of Work: My sewer system was backed up and Matthew scheduled a technician for the next day, but he knew I needed help immediately, so he sent George who was very nice. I appreciate Armstrong Plumbing.

Description of Work: Peter arrived right on time and did a great job taking out my old garbage disposal (which was a little difficult to get out) and re-install a new disposal that I had already purchased. He was professional and friendly and made sure everything was hooked up correctly. I would definitely use Armstrong Plumbing again if I need help.

Description of Work: My washing machine emptied and water filled my utilty tub and started to overflow onto the garage floor. My kitchen sink also began to back up. I called Armstrong Plumbing and spoke to someone who said that I would be called back. Within a few minutes, I was called by George Hester. He asked about my problem and said that he was at another job, but he could come over as soon as he finished that job. He said that it would be soon. He called me in about 40 minutes and said he was on his way. He was very professional and took great care to prevent more water from spilling onto the floor. He went right to work and found the cleanout in the garage and cleared the kitchen waterline. It was located behind my washing machine. George moved the machine to get to the drain. He also put the machine back in place and cleaned up his working area. I was very pleased with his work.

Description of Work: They sent the plumber, in the rain, within two hours of my call. The dispatcher was efficient. As always Geoge, my requested plumber, arrived exactly when promised.

Description of Work: On 4-14-11, we contacted Armstrong Plumbing. They called us back almost immediately and we made an appointment within the next 20 minutes. A Frank Vignola arrived at our door as promised. He took a look at our drain and stated he may have something in his truck that may work. However, it did not work. He told us he had another idea. He called the next week and asked if we would be home on Friday. Stated he would call around 8:30. He called at 8:22. Came by and put in the part and it is working just fine. A person could not have better service than Armstrong Plumbing and employee Frank Vignola. Frank was punctual, polite and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Armstrong Plumbing for any plymbing needs

Description of Work: I called Armstrong Plumbing on 9/16, they said they may be able to send a plumber that same afternoon, they would call him now. Dave the plumber had just finished a job in my area so he was able to come over right away. Plumber came out to fix clogged kitchen sink, bone stuck in garbage disposal and sink was also clogged. He was able to use a special plunger to dislodge the clog and everything was running fine. He also examined the tub/shower handle which had broken off in the bathroom, said I could get the parts at Lowe's or Home Depot. Dave was also very courteous, pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and prompt. I was impressed that he replaced all the items back under the sink after he was through working on it. I went to Lowe's, was told need model number. I called Price Pfister, they said they no longer make that model and to use Pfister Price 09 series for replacement parts. Today 9/22 sink clogged again. I called Armstrong Plumbing, they said there work was guaranteed for 24hrs so it was no longer under the warranty, if they come out again there would be another charge of 95 dollars. My landlord has chosen to use Bonney Plumbing which he prefers.
