Were satisfied with there work. There was a problem, but notified them and they came out to fix it without any hassles.

Milt quickly identified the sprayer as the source of our kitchen faucet leak but didn't have any replacements. He verified that the water pressure going into the 'frig was good, and then did a little troubleshooting to isolate the problem to a specific area inside the 'frig. Then it was on to the toilets, where he replaced the flappers and handles on both toilets and the ballcock on one. Then he started troubleshooting the bathroom faucets and identified the source of the groan as the angle stops under the sinks; replacing them left each cold faucet with a chatter instead of a groan, but it was an improvement. He also pulled the lever mechanism out of the bathtub to try and identify the reason for the slow leak, and did all he could within reason of time and cost to identify the issue. I still had to run to Home Depot and buy a kitchen sprayer and new cartridges for my bathroom faucets, and then spent 90 minutes installing them. So, that was kind of a downer after spending $350.00.

I have an older home and no knowledge of the age of the water heater. There was water in my basement that I though was coming from the water heater. When the technician arrived, it was not the water heater. He assured me that the one I had was in OK condition. However, I chose to have him install a larger and more efficient unit.

Emergency plumbing situation. We were promised a call between 7:30 and 8:00am, didn't call until 9:am. Offered to come out 2 days later. This won't work with an emergency pluming situation. I was surprised considering all of the positive feedback.

The person who took my phone call was both courteous and efficient. He gave me an estimate of approximately $200. He explained that would cover the trip and initial diagnostics, as well as up to an hour (I believe) of repair work. Beyond that, he quoted the hourly rate, but thought they would be able to correct the problem within the estimate. Dave S. arrived at precisely the appointed time. It was a rainy day and he was careful to wear protective footwear when inside the house. Our home is a tri-level, and the tub in the master bathroom (upstairs) was leaking through the ceiling of the bedroom on the lower level. With less than a minute of troubleshooting, Dave had identified the problem. He then explained it to me and installed a replacement part. After the repair, Dave ran several tests to make certain I was comfortable with the repair. Before he left, he asked if I had any other questions or problems. He gave me advice regarding two toilets and general money-saving advice.

I was pleased that someone was able to come out first thing in the morning the day after I called. The gentleman that performed the work was knowledgeable, professional and efficient. I will definitely call this company the next time I need some plumbing work done.

They were very responsive, I called on Friday afternoon, and Matt explained that they wouldn't be available until Monday. I said Monday would be fine, and he made an appointment to replace the water heater on Monday at 8:30. On Monday morning Dave called to make sure of the type of water heater (we have propane). After checking their stock, he called back to say there would be a slight delay to get the propane water heater we needed, and when he was on his way, he called to let me know, so I knew when to expect him. There was no uncertainty about when he would get here, and by calling to verify the kind of water heater I needed, he had the right one when he got here. He also verified the price that had been quoted to me before he began the job. He did the job quickly, and made sure that it was right before he left.

Plumber was very helpful and fixed everything that was needed.

From the start, they advised me on how much tankless heater I needed, and told me they thought I could use the smallest tankless I was considering if I wanted to save a few $. Since I had just paid off the exterior water line replacement (see other review) I did go with the small one and have had no problems for the year it has been operating. They had no problem with my ordering the tankless heater online, as it was over $200 cheaper than going with them or a local distributor. It took several trips back to complete the job due to the various inspections the city requires, and the lack of familiarity inspectors have with the many different tankless heater placement requirements. Armstrong never complained about the return trips, and made calls to the manufacturer to clear up a problem with the space needed between the heater and windows. As usual, they did an excellent job. And the tankless system will pay for itself before much longer.

Phone calls to Armstrong plumbing were promptly returned; staff gave clear direction on which products were needed for the job. The plumber Dave showed up on time, was friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He explained at length the work to be done and he allow me to help with some non-skilled aspects. He worked quickly and efficiently with skill and excellent professionalism. He did excellent quality work and provided advice about a problem he found in bathroom unrelated to his primary job. He honored a 10% off labor coupon from Angie's list. Excellent work and absolutely no complaints!

I was highly impressed with Armstrong Plumbing and David. He did arrive half an hour after the "window" but I feel that this is a common occurrence in his profession and basically a non-issue. He had an appointment prior to ours. Once he was on site, he worked very quickly and efficiently. He confirmed the leak in the sprinkler system by observing changes in the water meter when the sprinkler line was turned on and off from the main water line. He then dug away at the base of the sprinkler system to expose a 90-degree coupling, the source of the leak. Together, we decided that using the old parts would only temporarily solve the problem. He then replaced the coupling joint with parts from his well-equipped truck. He polished off the job in 2.5 hours and our total charge was $265.05 thanks to a 10% off labor coupon I found on Angie's List. Thank you, Angie's List, for both the referral and the coupon. From start to finish, the experience was exceptionally profession.

Charley was great, he also gave me some great advice on how to replace my shower hardware.

The company was again GREAT. I called early morning when I found out my water heater wasn't working. They immediately dispatched a representative to my house on the way to a big job, and they immediately found the problem and saved me hundreds as I thought I needed a new water heater. This is the second time I've used Armstrong Plumbing--I'll be referring them again and again!

The plumber came in on time, was able to discern what was necessary and what was a messed up tangle of pipes (previous owners handiwork), and replaced old drain pipes with newer ones.

The representative was on time and was able to trouble shoot the problem within minutes. I have an house which is over 100 years old, so it's not always easy to find what's wrong. The representative was courteous of the area in which the work was performed. Very good work!

Charley arrived on-time and installed basin in half the time used for the estimate. Thoroughly checked installation for leaks.

Dave is very thorough and detail-oriented;important characteristics in a plumber! He did an excellent job and explained everything to me in advance. He worked quickly and efficiently. I'm very grateful for his work and would definitely call him again the next time something needs attention, which in my house won't be very long!

The plumber from Armstrong was on time, and happy to work with me. He was efficient, and clean at the work site. When he was not sure what was causing the leak, he told me about all my options, and was ready to give price quotes on them on the spot. I will certainly call them again if I have other plumbing needs.

David was here for an hour and a half. He checked a long list of things we had been concerned about. He was very helpful and he answered a lot of questions. He explained everything he did. We asked for his name so we can ask for him in the future.

I was very impressed with the company from my first contact. I had talked to another plumber and he said my problem had to be a crack in the toilet and I needed to replace it. When I talked to them on the phone they disagreed and told me I had other options. They were able to come out the next day. The installer was very professional and knowledgeable about the problem. He got right to work and was very neat and cleaned everything up after he was finished. I was very impressed with his work and with the overall feel of the company. I would recommend them to my friends and use them again.

Matt at Armstrong was very professional on the phone. He confirmed exactly what their charges would be and that Dave would be able to come out the next day between 1-2 p.m. When I arrived home at 12:45, Dave was waiting for me. Dave snaked the line to clear any possible back-up, then replaced the necessary pipes under the sink, using some of the existing pipes that did not need replacement to save cost. He did exactly the work that was needed and was thorough and efficient. The work was completed and tested within 45 minutes, and the price was exactly in line with the prices structure that Matt had quoted on the phone. They will be my first call for any future plumbing services needed.

He quickly assessed the problem and also suggested a different type of tube as being more reliable (but didn't give me a hard sell), and made all the repairs. He wasn't absolutely sure if the tank plunger was a perfect fit, so he encouraged me to monitor it and call him back if it weren't.

The company assessed my existing water heater to determine if repairs could be made. I was given a choice to have repairs or install a new water heater, but determined that since my existing heater had lasted almost twice the average lifespan, to get a new one. I was pleased with the service.

Plumber arrived somewhat late but did an excellent job. He was quick, clean and efficient.

They got here on time and got right to work. They didn't waste any time and they were excellent!
