Armstrong Plumbing

The water heater had been dripping all weekend and broke the platform it was on. He went out to his truck and built a new platform for it for no extra charge.

It went very good. I would call them back again. They were on time and quick. They were very responsive. I would recommend them to others. They were very professional.

They arrived on time. They were friendly and knowlegeable. They gave us options of the best ways to tackle the problems we were faced with. They made dealing with this upadate easy.

Went very well. Replaced with metal pipe of decent gage (18 I think). George charged me for the time he worked and good prices for parts. He was professional and answered questions. The price I put included a %10 labor Angie's List coupon discount.

I placed my call to Armstrong Plumbing approximately 2:50 p.m. I told the representative that our toilet ran and took too long to fill. I was told they could have Peter, their tech, report to my home within the next 30 to 40 minutes. Of course, I agreed to that and by 3:25 p.m. Peter showed up promptly. He replaced the fill valve and flapper. He completed the job by 3:55 p.m. I was very surprised, impressed and grateful for their fast response. Peter was very pleasant and I appreciated his professionalism.

I felt it was good. I felt he was timely. He showed up and had no complaints. He provided me insight about what I should do and pointed me in the right direction.

Came out right away on time (90 for first half hour). He put in a "badger" garbage disposal and he charged me 120 and I found the same model for under 100 at home depot.

We're very happy with the work that Peter did. He arrived at 9:10 AM (well within the time frame given by the dispatcher.) The dispatcher said that he would arrive between 9AM and 11 AM. The hall toilet used to run intermittently throughout the day, it no longer does that. Thanks to Angie's List, we got a 10% discount, since this was the first time that we used Armstrong plumbing.

Armstrong was very courteous, very timely, and friendly. Unfortunately, they were also the highest of three estimates we obtained, so we chose not to hire them.

Even though Armstrong didn't actually do any work, I am going to give them an "A" rating for saving me a service call. They certainly seem like a company you can trust.

My husband said he got right to work and was neat and tidy. He also said he was professional and friendly. The drain now works! He also gave us our Angie's List discount.

Actually, there really isn't that much to tell. Dave from Armstrong Plumbing did a fine professional job in a reasonable amount of time, so I was immensely satisfied overall. I'm actually filing this report to give Armstrong Plumbing the recognition it deserves for a series of repairs at my residence over the past two years. They installed a custom kitchen faucet and also repaired a faulty pipe in the front yard that required some detective work to isolate the actual leak. All of the Armstrong personnel were knowledgeable and worked very efficiently to effect quick repairs.

It went very well. Matt was very helpful on the phone, searching out tax credit information. Milt, who did the work, called to say he was running a little behind. When he arrived he went right to work. He even replaced screws on the door to the water heater closet.

Armstrong was at our house within two business days of our call. David arrived before the scheduled time. When David was unable to pinpoint the exact location of the leak, he contacted the office as he knew we needed to have a "leak detector company" locate the leak. Armstrong contacted a leak detection company and a handyman who would do any needed repairs on our behalf. The leak detection company and the handyman were at our house later that same day! Once the leak was located, David had to jack hammer through the cement and dig a hole two feet deep to reach the pipe that needed to be rerouted. He was efficient, very conscientious about keeping any need for repair to drywall, flooring, etc., to a minimum and cleaned up the area before he left. I am so impressed with this company - they definitely go above and beyond! A rare thing these days!!

He was under my house for about six hours, so he definitely earned his money. I will use him in the future.

Milton worked fast & efficiently. Explained problem and corrective need if there was such a category. I'd nominate him for #1 plumber of the year. Will always request him in the future.

I knew what was wrong and what needed to be done, so I was pleased when it was confirmed. He did a great job, professional, assured. The price came in exactly what I thought. I called one day and they were out the next. When Milton saw he was going to be late he called. I sure did appreciate that.

Armstrong Plumbing lived up to the high marks it received on Angie's List. They promptly returned my phone call, accommodated my schedule in making the service appointment and when I called the day before the appointment to add 2 minor items to the list of required repairs, they were equally as accommodating. When David was running a little late due to traffic, he called to let me know. Once here, he diagnosed the problem and quickly got to work. He had to remove the toilet to replace a seal and gasket. Not a scratch/chip/mark was left on the new travertine floor and he re-caulked it like new. David was great at explaining what needed to be done to repair the toilet. The faucet repair and toilet flapper replacement were relatively minor and didn't take long.

Excellent. I called in a panic at 8:30 A.M because the shower drain was backed up in one bathroom, and the toilet and the bathtub were backed up in the other (it was, in a word, disgusting). I spoke with Terry, who informed me that "on paper" they were all booked up for today, but that he would put my name/address/number down as the first to call in case of an opening. He guessed I'd hear from someone around noon. However, at 9:45, Terry called and said someone could be there within the 1/2 hour. David arrived within 1/2 hour as promised. He was extremely polite and courteous, and even though I didn't know where the clean outs were or where the sewage line was (or much of anything helpful for that matter) he was able to discern what he needed to do to solve the problem in a very timely fashion. David explained everything he did very thoroughly, and had me check and recheck the toilets and the shower drains before leaving. He was an absolute pleasure to work with.

THE WORK WAS QUITE EXCELLENT. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM.

The work that they had to do was major and what they charged me for it was minimal. I was very grateful to them for that. The technicians were so very nice and they were just wonderful to work with. I would gladly recommend them to others.

Milt was very friendly yet professional. He called to let me know he was going to be a few minutes late, which is a nice courtesy. The appointment was made and kept promptly. As to price, I really have no basis of comparison. I assume their charges are fairly typical.

They were very prompt at getting back to me after I called. I feel they went above and beyond to an excellent job. We also feel that they are very competitive with their pricing and would recommend their services to anyone.
