Problem solve through advice only. Gave consult on future remodel ideas. No charge. Used Armstrong several times with previous jobs and rental house. Always good.

Not well. Compared to similar service two years earlier the price charged by this company was 3 times the amount of the previous service done by another company. The technician claimed "things are different now". My wife wasn't told what the price would be to come out, nor what the price would be to continue. This company lacks communication and appears to take advantage of the situation. I eventually found the company we used before and the price was far less than the price this company charged us.

I called them and told them I had no water and was told he would check with one of his men and called me back well a day and a half later they called me I had to get someone else not on your list

Outstanding. The repair person was on time, knew exactly what I needed. Courteous, clean and well mannered. I will definitely use Armstrong Plumbing again. I am sure we will be needing a tankless water heater soon.

Armstrong was great. The job was done as discussed and in a very timely manner. All the Armstrong staff we interacted with were courteous and friendly. It was a very simple and straightforward process. I was thoroughly impressed by the equipment that was used to install the new pipe. It was quick and accurate. Overall, thist was one of the easiest interactions with a contractor that I have ever experienced. I would not hesitate to use Armstrong again in the future.

They were here probably 2 years ago in 2014.

Initial contact was fine, set up an appointment. Company did not show up for appointment. I called in and they admitted they missed it. The estimator, after listening to what was requested, believed they could do an estimate over the phone if we sent in pictures to describe the job. After viewing the pictures, they provided a verbal estimate that included additional work they recommended. They said they would send a followup via email with a firm quote. Never received it. Their quote for the work was 3X what the job was finally done for with another contractor.

Mike M arrived on time and began work. He worked on the job until it was completed. He was very polite and did a good job. I was very pleased with him.

In 2014 I built a room addition with a new bathroom onto a property I owned. I really enjoyed working with this company. All the people at this company I dealt were easy to work with and professional. From the owner Milton who priced the job, to the foreman (Clete) who ran the onsite install, to the people in billing, all did great work. I had tenants renting the house while the construction was ongoing, so schedule, punctuality, and efficiency were important in order to minimize the inconvenience to my tenants. Armstrong Plumbing performed well in this regard. Also, the Armstrong's electronic system of providing documents such as quotes, billing, contracts (including E-signing the contract online) really impressed me. I think it reflects a well though out and run company. I had three bids from three different contractors before choosing Armstrong for this work. Armstrong's price was slightly higher than the low bid. However the contractor with the low bid was dismissive and condescending to me during the sales process, so I went with a slightly higher price in order to work with more polite and professional people.

Mike. M. did the work in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. We're very happy with his work and our dealings with the office in making the appointment.

The gentleman told me that our pipes were not good becasue they were old. I appreciate that the guy was upfront, honest with us and on time.

They were the ones who were gonna rip me almost $200 to, actually it was close to $300 to provide, install a new garbage disposal. Went to Lowe's got my own for $100 and installed it for I think was like $50. They had scheduled me between 1 and 5 in the afternoon, they hadn't shown up by 5 so they called me and said well were gonna be a little late, we'll be after 5 and then I asked them how much they were charging and when they told me that's when I hit the ceiling and told them save yourselves the trouble. You couldn't be here on time, your gonna rip me off, I don't want anything to do with you.

Jacob from Armstrong Plumbing came out to determine the cause of a leaky faucet in my bathtub/shower. They were the only plumbing company that offered to repair the leak rather than replace the pipes (which is expensive). Thank you for helping to fix the issue until I can afford to remodel the bathroom. I appreciated Jacob's willingness to help and his creativity in getting a repair accomplished. The only lower score I provided was the cost of the repair. More than I can afford, but the other option was to knock out the tiles to replace the pipes. Yikes, that would have been close to a remodel which I cannot afford this year.

The drains were not blocked so there was no hurry in their coming. In ten minutes they were done with the first and were ready to leave so I asked if they could do one more. They readily agreed. In a total of 20 minutes the total job was done. $125 seems a bit steep for 20 minutes work, but I bought the special so it was to be expected. It would have been a nice touch if they'd asked if there was any other work they could do as the special was for $125 for up to one hour work. I probably would have said "no" but would have appreciated the offer.

The job went well above my expectations .The tech was very thorough while he was doing his job he had very good communication with me while he was working he spent the full two hours cleaning out the main line and after he was finished with the job explained everything to me in detail basically who , what , where , when , and why he did what he needed to do to get my main line cleaned out . I will use them this late spring to replace and repair my main sewer line .

Called Armstrong to check on the deal of $125.00 faucet install. They said the deal had expired but would honor it anyway (add is still active by the way). Said they would install the second one on an hourly basis in fifteen minute increments. I checked the DIY video by Delta and average time for install is 20 minutes for 1 faucet for the untrained. Appointment I set had a 3 hour window from 10a.m. to 1p.m. The tech was 45 minutes late at 1:45p.m. The tech was friendly and courteous and did the job correctly but in the process he broke the hot water feed on one of the faucets. I was charged to have it replaced! The overall job should not have taken more than an hour and since they were honoring the $125 dollar install for one, I should have only been charged an extra $75 for a half hour of their $150 an hour rate. Never mind that they are the ones that broke my water line. I feel like I was gouged on this job by being charged $300.00. Oh well, like they say: Fool me once...

I called Armstrong Plumbing yesterday morning to schedule a service call / repair (bathtub regurgitating). I accepted an appointment for today between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The plumber would call 30 minutes prior to arrival. I was quoted a price of $150. for the first half hour and $75 for every half hour thereafter. Steep? Yes, but given the reviews on Angie's List, I hoped well worth it. It is now 1:30 p.m. on 11/18/2015, and I've not heard from Armstrong Plumbing. Their telephone line has been "busy" for the past 30 minutes. If and when I hear from them, I'll cancel the appointment. I've since called another plumbing contractor, and scheduled an appointment for tomorrow morning. For $49.50 they'll send a plumber out tomorrow morning to assess the situation. That fee will be waived if I accept their quote and proceed with the job. What's one more day without a bath? What on earth was I thinking?

The toilet anchor bolts had worked loose from the cast iron flange causing the toilet to wobble and shift. Fortunately, the cast iron flange was still sound. The technician, Dwayne, secured the toilet with new (far superior) bolts, replaced the wax ring and drew a perfect bead of caulk round the toilet base. He was very efficient, completing the job in under an hour. We were only charged for time and materials. (This was far better than the flat bid of $350 I was given by another company.) We?ve used Armstrong?s services in the past and will continue to do so.

The cartridge costs less than 40 dollars at Lowes. They said they spent an hour replacing it, though my experience is that it usually takes less than half this time to replace a cartridge to a shower. I did have to call them back a second time because they put the cartridge in backwards the first time. My complaints : 1. They charged me 138 dollars for a part that you can buy at lowes for under 40 dollars. 2. They charged me 225 dollars labor for less than an hours worth of work.

Very simple project for a plumber. Home Depot Quoted the job at $250 for the standard install price and if we wanted to install a larger sink than there would be an additional $150 to move one of the main lines to fit the larger sink. I thought that was pretty expensive as they quoted the labor at $150 an hour and said it would take about two hours to do everything or about an hour to do just the standard reconnect. I knew I could find a better price on Angies list and after paying my application fee to join Angies List I called Armstrong Plumbing. Very courteous on the phone and scheduled a 10am - 1pm window and they showed up at 12:30. The technician came in and looked under the sink and quoted the standard reconnect at $500 and if I wanted to have the one line moved up two inches would cost an additional $400. He quoted the labor at three hours for the standard reconnect and two and half hours to move the line. Home Depot Contractor $250 + $150 = $400 Armstrong Plumbing $500 + $400 =$900 Hmmmm, guess whom I chose

Have had some plumbing issues with the bathroom addition on my house since I bought it 13 years ago and the sewer line still needs tree roots clearing about twice a year. Since a direct cleanout for the addition has never been found the plumbers have always used a pool backflow line to run their equipment. I?ve been planning to add a cleanout to that bathroom for a long time but other house repairs have taken priority. Today after the Armstrong plumbing technician cleared roots from the sewer line he thought to check the main house cleanout with a camera and found it there actually was access to the additional line ? all other plumbing companies just looked down the pipe and said there was no way to access the additions line. I'm so please to find there is no need to add another clean out now and next time I need the roots cleared it should be a much easier job. Really appreciate the thorough and very professional service today!!

This job went well and we were pleased with the results. However, we had a leaking flush valve in one of our toilets and I requested that they replace the entire flush valve assembly. I was quoted $50 for this task, including parts and labor. 20 minutes later they said they were done and charged me $50. I questioned how they could possibly could have done that work in 20 minutes, and was told that all they did was replace the gasket at the bottom of the flush valve assembly. I asked how replacing a Two Dollar Gasket could cost $50 and was told "Well, it took me 10 minutes to find the gasket in my truck and another 10 minutes to put it in, which is one third of an hour and we charge $150 an hour." After charging me $575 for the hot water recirculation valve installation I thought it outrageous charge me $150 an hour searching his truck for a $2 gasket, when what I wanted was the entire flush valve assembly replaced. They said they didn't have one in their truck so they just put in the gasket. If I owned that company I would be retraining these gentlemen about customer service. We felt that we had been taken advantage of, the toilet still leaks, and to top it off we gave them a $20 off coupon from Angie's list that they never listed on the invoice, so it looks like we did not get the $20 off. Invoice number 53598. We will never use these guys again and will warn all our friends and family to avoid them .

It went well. I emailed last night requesting an appointment, and received a return email and phone number this morning. The work was completed before noon today. Everyone I talked to was friendly and professional. The work was done quickly. I will definitely hire Armstrong Plmbing again.

They were pretty pricey. I was not pleased with that. We had to coordinate between the flooring guy and them and they were very good that way. They were very accommodating.

My house's main sewer line suddenly developed a blockage -- first one toilet bowl would not empty completely, then another, and then the master shower drain backed up, all within the space of a few hours -- PANIC! I called Armstrong and they scheduled an appointment within 4 hours of my call. The technician (Justin V.) arrived on time, and was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and professional. He was able to diagnose the problem and resolve the issue quickly and completely. I was very grateful to have such a prompt response to my call, and felt that the price charged was more than fair. I was completely satisfied with every aspect of my interaction with Armstrong Plumbing, and I will not hesitate to call them again in the future for my plumbing needs.
