The overall experience was excellent. The price was good. The quality of work was great. They were punctual, responsive, and professional. I was very happy with them They showed up on time and got the job done. It has had zero leaks and zero issues. It is two years later and I am still happy with the job. The work was of exceptional quality. I would use this company again.

It was easy to make an appointment and specify a time convenient to me. That was a big first plus. The service guy was on time and very courteous, friendly and professional. He even removed hair from a drain plug from a near by sink to the washing machine. The pipe was not plugged, just the top part of the plug which had hair and gunk. He could have easily added to the charge but did not. More importantly, the plumber checked out which was the appropriate line to snake out before he did anything so that the problem would be resolved with just one visit. I.e., he wanted to make sure that the kitchen line was or was not the right line to work on. It was not. While he had trouble with the snaking process, which caused him to spend more time than he had anticipated, he did not charge me for the extra time because he said it was his problem and not mine. He also cleaned up the muck that unexpectedly flew out of the line and caused a big mess. I was busy in another part of the house and when I came back out to the plumber, he had pretty much cleaned up everything and I would not have known there was a mess. The Angie's discount was also a helpful bonus. I would use Armstrong Plumbing again. They also called and asked for feed back which impressed me. It shows they are very customer oriented and wanted to know the good news as well as the bad.

I found them on Angie's list. After the first hour they charge you in fifteen minute increments. I have some other jobs I will be using them for in the future. I feel very comfortable and trust them.

Spoke with a David on the phone, we scheduled an appointment to meet at the property to discuss work on a bathroom remodel. I guess they didn't need the work because it was NO CALL - NO SHOW.

Becasue I was not there I can only say that things did go well.

They are a family owned plumbing company and I have been very happy with their services.

After several attempts on my own to figure out the problem, finally called a plumber. It was a holiday weekend and they were closed, but they called me first thing in the morning when they opened and sent someone out in less than an hour. Came in an unclogged sink in 15-20 mins and cleaned up after himself. The plumber explained to us what the problem was and how we could prevent the problem in the future. Then gave us a 10% discount for using them for the first time. I will call Armstong the next time I have a plumbing issue.

It sucked , no follow through on quote.

He went on my roof and couldn't get through my tube. He said he would charge me for going up on my roof. I asked him to take his machine up there and he said it was unsafe. He gave me the senior discount. My son came over and tried the same thing and it worked fine. All of my pipes were clogged and Armstrong came back again and cleaned it all out. They went through a lot of work and charged me a good amount to unclog my toilets. I would not ever use them again, I know that. The service was OK but the price was not worth it. They came right out when I called them but the price bothered me.

I have never before experienced the level of professionalism, honesty and attention to detail that was provided by Milton and his team. I would highly recommend calling this company for your plumbing problems!

Showed up on time...courteous and professional Completed the job to my satisfaction. Note: I called them last week to get a quote on installing a garbage disposal. The amount was quite high...$178.00...I checked the list and took advantage of a Big deal and had it done for $119. I always shop price in addition to ratings.

Water backed up in sink when disposal turned on. I have a home warranty but to get a plumber from them would take a couple days and I needed it fixed ASAP. Got Armstrong Plumbings name from Angies list and they came that day. Who knew their were rules for disposals. The tech was knowledgeable, polite and had it fixed in a short time. whether or not they are on the home warranty list, I will use them in the future.

I really liked the owner. He was very experienced and professional. He was also thorough.

We had roots blocking the drain from our house to the main sewer line and water was backing up in our bath tub. He cleaned out that line and also to be on the safer side cleaned out the other line that goes to the common sewer. He cleaned out the other line that didn't appear to be giving any problem but he thought it would be a good idea. He seemed to be very reliable and honest. He was very clear about explaining the problem. He came out very quickly and the people that he sent out seemed to be very experienced. They all knew what they were doing so I didn't feel like they were learning on the job. I guess the reason I chose them was because my experience with the other companies was that they advertise a price and then there is always some little catch to it. Their price was competitive. Their professionalism was right at the top. We've had them out a couple of times before as well and each time I thought that they were really nice, efficient and got the job done right.

Outstanding work - totally fair pricing, he was there for many hours as there were some inevitable complications (we have an older home with eccentric plumbing). Work quality - we could not be happier. Thanks so much. We are very satisfied customers.

Armstrong estimator arrived 5 minutes early, versus a rival company that arrived a hour late. The work was very professionally done and Frank worked with me in order to allow for specific changes that I wanted.

They were prompt, courteous, have reasonable prices, and know what they are doing. They came when they said they would, and did a good job.

Arrived 5 minutes early. Listened carefully to my list of tasks. Did all items. Explained exactly what he did and discussed the alternative approaches to the drainage problems.

Armstrong was one of four companies we asked for estimates. Matthew understood what needed to be done and our goals with the project. Exact replacement sinks were not available but Matthew suggested a modified installation that kept the cost reasonable and would appear original. The estimate was considerably less than any of the other three. Dave was the technician who did the work. He was competent and personable. It is never easy to replace old plumbing but Dave did it well, cheerfully and cleanly. I am very happy with the results, the price and the service and can recommend Armstrong Plumbing without reservation.

The guy who came out actually went above and beyond what he’s been asked to do and fixed the basic problem that lead to the other problem. He was very flexible and knowledgeable.

overall an excellent experience. After meeting up with cowboys and manipulators it was a breathe of fresh air to meet an honest plumbing company that did the job promptly and professionally. Would highly recommend them and will definately use them in future.

I made an appt. They called several times to let me know they would be late. Came later that day. Looked into changing the spout and advised me it would be a really big job and involve going into the wall. I decided not to do this. He fixed the faucets, and we were done.

Sewer line clogged and backed up in to the bathtub/shower/toilets in the evening. Called Bonney because they did the original sewer line install for the previous owner and called Armstrong because they were the highest rated in the area on Angie's list. Bonney called back that evening but couldn't answer my warranty questions so she pushed my query to someone the next morning - I never hear back from them. I contacted a web-based live chat the evening of the original clog and the agent couldn't make an appointment but put my information through to Armstrong. She couldn't say when I would receive a call however. I received a call at approximately 9:30am (relatively late in my opinion) and set an appointment for between 12 and 2pm that day. The technician showed up at 1:45pm (later than I would have liked, but still technically on time). From there he performed the services described above. Jacob was our technician and he was very friendly and professional. I mentioned that I had called Bonney as well but was wary of them because I've heard horror stories. He mentioned that when he came to the area looking for a job he contacted Bonney and was not impressed with them either. Armstrong was a family owned company and he felt it was a better fit. He did a great job explaining what he was doing and what the potential next steps were. He didn't pressure me to do anything that wasn't necessary and gave me lots of options to consider for the future. For about an hour of work he only charged me the minimum rate and went merrily on his way. I was very pleased with the outcome. The issue was resolved, it didn't break the bank, and I came away more educated about the issue. I will be calling Armstrong again.

First thing in the morning received a call from a tenant at a rental an hour away. Water spraying from kitchen faucet. My first thought. Who do I phone? Not cost effective to send my plumber to a job an hour away. Went to the computer. After a few minutes I ended up at Angie's List. A simple Angie's List search got me to plumbers in the Sacramento area. After reading the reviews I decided on Armstrong Plumbing. Phoned them, they phoned tenant, set up appointment, and fixed the problem for a $90.00 charge. Received a 10% discount as an Angie's List member and it was done. Doesn't get much better. I've used them since for a clogged drain and a dishwasher with drainage issues. They have been extremely courteous on the phone, responsive to the problem and fair enough on the price. I will continue to use them for all plumbing repairs at this rental.
