Armstrong Plumbing

I called on a Saturday and told the company it was not an emergency so Monday or Tuesday the following week would be fine. Less than an hour later the company called back advised they could come out later in the afternoon and there would be no additional charge for Saturday service. They also advised the plumber would call an hour before coming to my home. The plumber did call before he came out and put covers on his boots to walk through my home. He assessed the problems, gave me a verbal price quote and repaired both problems in about an hour. The plumber was courteous and professional. I would definately hire this company again.

I was very satisfied with the service I received today from Armstrong Plumbing. This is the first time I used them. Customer Service was great when I called. Selected them because of the great reviews they have. I called yesterday for an appt. asking for today (Friday). He was here promptly in time chosen. He found where the toilet was leaking by the bolts on the tank, & fixed it. I also saved $20. with coupon for new customers, which was nice. If I need any plumbing service in future, they will have my business. Thanks, Armstrong Plumbing.

I called on Thursday for an appointment, and received an appt. on Friday between 10-12. Employee called me 1/2 hour before appointment, allowing me to drive home for appt. George was exactly on time. He wore booties to protect my floor when working. He quickly dismantled the top of the faucet, and determined a part was missing. He went out to his van a few times for the appropriate parts and tools, but had everything. Once he fixed that, he quickly worked on moving the faucet over and repositioning it. His work was quick and he was courteous. The only thing which bothered me was that he kept saying that whoever had worked on the faucet before "wasn't a plumber, was he?" I explained that two friends had worked on the faucet over the past year and were able to temporarily fix the dripping, and obtained parts and advice from Emigh Hardware's master plumber. Plumbers I'm certain are aware that folks often try to fix things without professional help.

This is the second time I've called Armstrong Plumbing. A plumber arrived with the 2-hour schedule time. The toilet was removed from the floor, all parts replaced and all the work was fast asnd he area cleaned. I wilol always call them for my plumbing needs.

Immediate response. Great because I was getting ready for a dinner party and it couldn't wait!

All is repaired and working. work was done quickly and at a fair price. well use again when needed.

I was not present when the work was done. Everything was handled over the phone. The renters were happy with the result.

After calling Armstrong at 8 AM, I was surprised that they were able to get someone to my house within 2 hours. Terry was very courteous and capable. I appreciated that he took the extra time to make sure the pipes were unclogged by running several tests. I also appreciated that he reminded me of my Angie's List coupon.

I thought that his pricing was reasonable.

When all the plumbing fixtures were in, Jacob came out to the house. He installed the ISE steaming hot water dispenser, the water filter, and the new valve for my Grohe shower controller. I decided to go with an A. O. Smith gas tankless water heater with an exterior installation. My current water heater (26 years old) was in a closet in the hallway. For a job of this size, Jacob needed some assistance and Justin came out to work with him. They had to run new water lines under the house and a new gas line. At the end of the installation process, electrician David Wilson came out to hook up electricity to the unit. I can't say enough good things about the work that was done and I was particularly impressed with Jacob. About a week later Jacob came back out and installed a new gas valve for an old wall heater in my back hallway. I would not hesitate at all to contact Armstrong Plumbing for any future plumbing needs and to recommend them to friends and family.

This company impressed me from the moment I called and spoke to their customer service rep/dispatcher. The technician assigned to my job was AMAZING! Jacob was very professional and very thorough - most importantly a very good communicator. I want to know what is going on for lots of reasons. I want to know that my property and it's substructure are in perfect working order. As a good neighbor, I want to be sure that nothing happening on my property is going to impede my neighbors enjoyment of their property. Jacob was most willing to show me what was going at the various different stages of work. My property has two flush out valves - one by the house (original) and one 106 feet downhill near the bottom of the yard which was installed about 20 years ago. Both flush outs were clogged. The newer flush out was the problem as roots had grown into the area around joint of the flush out and pipe. The clog was very difficult to exorcise. It proved to be quite challenging. Jacob never waivered, didn't take breaks, didn't stop until he solved the problem and his work was done. Seriously, impressive. I should know. I have had numerous and varying companies out to my house to do work and only a couple were this professional. My property is large and a hill. As the process progressed sewage ran down my driveway and into the street. Jacob immediately called the main office and someone came out with the cleaning agents and "stink stoppers" (sorry can't remember the name of the product). The assistant immediately addressed the "stink" and "mess" issues. Everything was cleaned up and smelling sweet before Jacob left. One service I did ask for and found most intrtiguing was the camera. I paid the additional fee to have a camera go through the pipes to see if all the problems were solved and if there were any problems on the horizon. Pretty cool technology and for me well worth the cost. More work will be done next week to correct the issues with the lower flush out...the camera scope showed where the issues are and though repairs are not immediately necessary, I prefer to be proactive rather than reactive. The cost quoted above is inclusive of the repairs that will take place next week. Overall, I find their service amazing and their fees competitive. I'm quite happy with their work!

.The repair could not have gone better.

We've used them before for something a little bit more expensive and we have gotten that recommendation from Angie's List for Armstrong and we had the same young man come out at the same time to do that. I think his name was Jacob. He did it a year before that and then again about a year and a half after that and that was about six or seven months ago. He was terrific. My husband used to do a lot of the work around the house before he had a stroke but having someone you can rely upon who does really good work and is very professional is very important to us and whatever the price at the time was was well worth it.

They were punctual, courteous, and clean (did not leave a mess). They were easy to reach by phone and we haven't had any problems at all with their work.

Able to come to my house the next day and gave me an estimate how much it would cost me. Their plumber was nice , even wore shoe cover before entering my house. After unclogging my drain, gave me hints to avoid future problems and told me ahead of time how much it would cost (honored Angie's list coupon, saved $20).

They were scheduled to come between 3 and 5 but called to come earlier. Worked out fine. Fixed the problem.

He did a wonderful job. I felt that his price was absolutely very fair and he was very responsive and professional.

How did it go? Fast, efficient, very professional service at a fair price. Can you ask for more than that? Our first venture into the world of vinyl siding repair, we were at the mercy of unscrupulous contractors like the one who did the original installation on the house, not knowing where to turn for help. Matt came to our rescue and repaired their shoddy workmanship and allowed us to pass the building inspection. We're so very happy with the work Matt performed and we'd give our highest recommendation to anyone considering installation of new siding or repair of existing siding. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

So far so good. I'm a pessimist by nature. Everything went very well. I called around 10:00 am. They were able to fit me in on the same day. Peter arrived by 1:00 pm and even though I had to go buy some parts ($80.00), he was basically done by 2:30. I was charged $155 for labor after taking off $20.00 for their coupon for first-time customers. I will definitely call them again if I have plumbing problems.

Overall, they did a good job. There was a mix up in when they were supposed to show up. They came late, but got the job done, appogized for the scheduling conflict and made it right.

Mark fixed 2 leaks under my kitchen sink. He did a really good job and I will call him again(ask for him I mean.)

George arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and cleared the line in less than 30 minutes.

I called Armstrong to do a replacement of the water heater nipples. They were leaking for a few days. my original call was answered well and the plan was to have someone come out the next day. About an hour later they called back and said someone could come out the same day in a few hours. that was even better for me. He came out and did the replacement and checks. 2 days later I noticed the heater was leaking and it seemed to be coming from the cold water line. This was on Saturday morning. I called Armstrong and we agreed it ws not an emergency and it could wait to regular office hours. They came out on Tuesday morning, after the monday holiday. he replced the line for no charge. Having the warranty repair go well was so nice.

The quality of the work performed was excellent, it seemed to take forever and there were problems that arose that required the plumber to go to the store to purchase some more parts that were not available in the truck. I was charged that for that time as well as the travel time for the plumber to come to the house. I would have liked to have been informed of this travel charge when I made the appointment because I would have otherwise gotten a local plumber. I chose these guys because they were ranked highly on Angie's List.
