Description of Work: Ken did an great job for us. We had installed an above ground pool and needed power run (both 220 and 110) over 60 feet, under our deck to the pool area. Ken made a number of suggestions that resulted in our being able to cut costs and get a better result that we had originally planned. Would definitely use him again if the need for an electrician arises.

Description of Work: Didn't end up using him. Nice at first on phone, then wanted service/trip fee to fulfill the prepaid order since I lived on the other side of Sacramento from his business. Lost money for me and would not recommend his services to anyone.

Description of Work: Garbage and a waste of money. I made the mistake of almost letting this expire. When I contacted Angie's list about an extension, the response was it was out of their hands and that I should contact the contractor. When I contacted the Contractor they told me it was out of their hands and I should contact Angie's list. So I lost my money to a catch22 that either business could have dealt with. I will NEVER EVER pre-buy through Angie's list or this electrician. I go else where for social/pre buy deals. Yes it was my fault for not staying on top of this, but neither of the businesses would have been out the money as they continued to offer the deal. I think people like me are their favorite way to get a buck.

They fit our little project into their busy schedule, showed up at my father's house on time with all the necessary parts and a smile. :) Can't speak highly enough on their upstanding conduct and work...in a phrase, they're good people. Even my father, who pretty much never likes anyone and is the cheapest man alive, asked for their name and number today so they must be good! Hoping we can use their talents (electrical and otherwise) again in the very near future. Angie's List ROCKS and so does Anything Electrical!

+ -1 moreAfter finding that there were no problems with my breakers or fuses, He was very honest up front that he did not know how long it woudl take to determine the cause. It took considerable time and effort, including crawing into the attic, to discover the problem, but he patiently pursued it and found a damaged receptical behind my upright piano, which he replaced.
Description of Work: All electrical power to my family room had suddenly ceased. The rest of the house was fine. Ken Adams, owner of the company had to troubleshoot the problem.

Description of Work: Removed porch light and disabled/removed the inside timer. Replace it a new porch light with dusk to dawn socket. Removed the light on the side house, near the back yard. Replace it with a new light with motion sensor. Installed a wireless doorbell.

Description of Work: I called Ken to troubleshoot an electrical problem I created myself. While remodeling my workshop in back (a separate building from the house) I disrupted the power to that building (and the pool pump too) when installing a new light fixture. Even though I had tried to reset breakers myself, apparently it didn't quite work. Ken removed the panel and found the tripped breaker and corrected. He also installed the light fixture, working with the unusual old wiring in the light box (too many wires, all the wrong colors).

I feel fortunate to have found Ken on Angie's List. He takes a lot of pride in his work and is professional in all his dealings with me.
Description of Work: Ken has done a lot of work for me since I hired him for the first job. He has worked on the electrical panel and installed outlets for dishwashers and a range. He has also installed a timer for my sprinkler system. This guy rocks!! His work is excellent, he is dependable, professional, knowledgeable, and his prices are very reasonable.

+ -1 moreI hired an electrician to fix the lights in my pool. The pool had a total of six lights with two out. I had called an electrician who had come out to trouble shoot why the two lights were out and he said that the fixtures were bad so he bi-passed the lights for safety reasons. He gave me a price to replace the fixtures that I felt was too high so I wanted to get another estimate. I checked around and Anything Electric came by to give me a free estimate. When the owner looked at the lights, he saw where the other electrician had bi-passed the two light but didn?t feel that the fixtures were the problem. He tested a few other things and discovered that the real problem was two bad plugs. He replaced them and that fixed all six lights. I felt that Anything Electric was professional and very knowledgeable about electrical problems. He was also reasonably priced.
