Anything Electric

Had to drill through brick facade to install the exterior box. Work performed as requested. Additional work was added on as time permitted. Got a lot accomplished in the two hour window.

See above I rated this company with an "A" due to it wasn't their fault and the N/A button would not allow me to select. I'm not sure if the Company gets a print out of who buys the deals. IF SO, a phone call telling me they don't service my town would have been nice- but again - I have no knowledge of what the contractor receives. A lower rating seems unfair since the rating for ANGIES LIST would have been an "F". Did I mention it took awhile to get the funds returned?

Unfortunately, I wasn't aware that there would be supply costs in addition to the labor. There was actually a balance on the labor that I never used because I was afraid that anything that was done would end up costing me a lot in the long run. Also, the items that I really wanted to have done, he was not able to do.

I can provide more info on the actual work when it is completed.

We hired Anything Electric through the Angies Deal - 2 hours for $89. Ken was a few minutes early, got right to work and even stayed a bit longer to help us figure out some wiring issues. He is very capable, knowledgeable and patient. I would definately hire him again.

I purchased a Big Deal in May for $79 for 2 hours of electrical work. I started contacting Ken Adams, the owner of Anything Electric, in August. There were some mix-ups with returning phone calls and the work was finally scheduled for October. Ken was very prompt and professional. He had no problems installing the bathroom light fixture and two outdoor lights within the two-hour time frame. These continue to work just fine. I was also hoping to fix a ceiling fan that had been making noise and had just recently sparked when the light was turned on; however, he discovered that the light fixture shorted out and would have to be replaced. I was overall very satisfied with Ken's work.

I look forward to our day of service this week. I feel it is going to be very positive because of our dealings so far.

the crew showed up on time, took a great deal of time (off the clock mind you) explaining my installation options and any additional associated costs. they then began charging me for the work after all the consultation was complete. the result was that the crew was here for 1.5 hours before they started charging me for the work, very fair. the work was professional and I got the result that I desired. would definetely recomend this company to anyone for electrical work

Ken arrived on time and installed my ceiling fan without any problems. I asked him for an estimate on another electrical project I have in mind and he did so. However, I'm not quite ready to get it done. He left my bedroom clean without any dust. He even took the old fan tothe garage. Thank you for your list.

I called the electrician and told them what I needed and they made the appointment with me, showed up as scheduled and performed the work.

Actually, services were not performed, and not because I declined service, but because Anything Electric declined to give me service! What happened: I had called Anything Electric to schedule an appointment to come out to my house. I talked to a guy who answered the phone (I don't remember his name) and I believe he was the actual guy who was going to perform the service. I was initially trying to ask him a very simple question, which was "When are you available to come out to my house?". But for some reason that question returned a very long incoherent reply from him. I was scratching my head because I still had no clear answer and didn't know what to do. So I asked my question again only to get a longer incoherent reply from him that still made no sense. And then when I was trying to say that I wasn't understanding him, he got mad at me and said something to me like "I wouldn't perform service for you anyway because I can tell you would be hard to work with!". I then said to him, "Are you kidding? You're not serious are you?". He said that he would NOT perform any services for me. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I was blown away. In retrospect, I'm glad he didn't perform services for me because if someone is going to perform something as critically important as electrical services, you don't want the person A). to be unable to understand even a simple question, B). be unable to have coherent intelligent conversations with you or C). fly off the handle and get mad at the drop of a hat. Yikes, buyer beware of this company.

The contractor was on time (actually a few minutes early), professional, cleaned up (no mess) and we are pleased with the work. We were also given an estimate for future work which we intend accept shortly.

Project went very well and involved minimal disturbance of existing walls, drywall, etc. BTW.. this is the second job this vendor has done for me. Both have gone extremely well.

He came to the house on time ,he is very polite and has patient .He finished all the job less than 2 hours. I will call him again for next job.I would recommend him to anyone that needs electrician.

Ken was prompt, courteous and knew what he was doing. I would definitely hire him again to help me with my electrical issues.

Another vendor had provided a timer which he determined he could not install as he was a "low voltage" guy. Thus, I accepted the Big Deal with Anything Electric. Mr. Adams called, set up a timely visit, arrived, concluded that the preiously priovided timer was defective, went and bought a new one, returned, installed, set up and verified proper operation. Asked me if there was anything else he might do, upon hearing "no" and my "thank yous", he departed. He was a pleasure to work with.

Ken was earlier than expected. He was professional and answered all questions. Set up wiring for a ceiling fan in a room without existing wiring and helped with a partial install of the fan. He checked a few other electrical issues in my home and gave his recommendations. I would definitely use his service again.

Ken was proficient and professional in his ability to review our situations and create the best solutions for our issues. He was cheerful even in the face of working 2 1/2 hours in the hot Sacramento sun. When the job was completed, he reviewed another lighting issue in our house and came up with a creative solution that we will use in the near future (with Ken's services).

It took some time but got the job done

This is the 2nd time I have used him and both experiences were positive ones. It is his own company and he is very professional and friendly. Each visit, he has been very cooperative, and he went above and beyond to help me. He is always on time and never leaves anything behind. I would highly recommend him.

This review is long over due but more than a month ago Ken came to install a solar attic fan in our two-story house. We had purchased 2 hours of Electrician time from Angie’s List special for $79.00. The job was difficult because not only did Ken have to crawl in a small attic space but also had to scale up to the second story on a latter to install the solar panel. He was prompt in his arrival within 15 minutes and did what was necessary to get the job done. It was a pleasure working with Ken he was very professional, personable and did not quibble about staying 15 minutes extra to discuss any concerns we had. I would definite hire him again and would recommend him to anyone.

Great. I thought I had a breaker problem, when in fact a couple of the breakers were not engaged correctly. As for the proposed upgrades, it would have required more time to complete so the upgrades will be scheduled at a later date.
