I would not be going to them and be calling them for over 10 years if I was not happy. The 2 technicians that come to our home are friendly and efficient. I don't go back to companies that I'm not happy with.

I've worked with All Year Heating and Air for over 10 yrs. This is the largest appliance in a home, so getting exceptional service and tech service for one's investment is so important. Always been pleased with the company.

Technician arrived on time. From the sounds it made and did not make he predicted the capacitor had failed. He did a full system check and confirmed his prediction. He had the part on his truck and installed it immediately.

They've been great. They did our whole heating system and we've referred them to other people. We've been happy. They are good about getting out when you need service and taking care of it.

They completed the job within two days. The county inspection dinged them for two minor issues but All Year came right out and corrected the county inspector's issue. Nothing serious and maybe a little picky on the county's part. All in all it went very well and All Year matched the price of the lowest bidder, including installation of a different system then the original bid.

They did a good job. I thought they were good guys. They had to replace a part so it was more expensive than I thought. They did fine. They called me right back. They were punctual.

Great, great experience. This family-owned and operated business is tops in my book, and if ever I have other repair needs on my older heating and AC system, I know who I'll call: All Year! After suffering a day without AC in Sacramento's heat wave, I called All Year, based on the recommendation of two experts in home repair. Greg arrived and with his super skills, I can now enjoy a normal temperature in my home. I learned the technical aspect of the AC unit I had and took advantage of some preventive care, too.

Awesome experience from start to finish! I submitted a request for an estimate on a new HVAC system to replace an existing 17 yr old system and within 10 minutes received a phone call from the company and scheduled an appointment for the estimate ( I had already received 3 other bids). The owner Vickie arrived to provide the estimate. Vickie was very knowledgeable and provided me with a very thorough explanation of the HVAC units available, the features and benefits of each and explained the discounts/rebates I would qualify for such as paying with cash vs credit card, SMUD rebate (which they submit on my behalf) and the Federal and State tax credits. She explained from start to finish what to expect on the installation and that it would take 2 days to complete. She answered all my questions and provided me a very thorough written estimate. After she left, I compared her estimate to the other 3 I received and they were the 2nd lowest bid. I chose the All Year bid because I felt they provided me with the most information of all the 4 HVAC contractors I spoke with and All Year was the only contractor who took the time to explain that the installation crew is really the vital link in doing a quality job. Their 2 installation technicians had 32 years & 11 years experience. The installation crew arrived on time and were very professional and efficient and they were both very nice and easy to talk with. At the end of day 1 they left my home just as clean as it was when they arrived. On day 2 of the installation they had both the furnace and AC unit in place and working and explained that Calif code required an inspection from a HERS 3rd party to inspect and make sure that the new unit was working properly and that the efficiency was in fact tested and measured. The HERS individual arrived and tested the HVAC unit, air handler, ducts and found my overall air leakage was only 6.3%!!! I must say, this new HVAC unit is way more efficient and quiet than my previous one and I am completely thrilled with the overall experience. Without a doubt, All Year will now be my #1 heating and air contractor for any HVAC needs!

It went great. Initially we had a tech come out from another company to try an repair our heater. According to him it would not be safe to use the heater. The other two companies we contacted for quotes agreed. Our house was built in the 40's and I am sure the heater is from the 70's. We did receive a rough estimate from him for the heater starting at $7,000.00 dollars, but he would need to have someone come out for a written estimate. There would be a charge for the written estimate. We had two other quotes for the furnace only. Both of the quotes were really close in price, but one contractor would of needed to tear out part of the ceiling in order to install some of the duct work for the new furnace. ALL YEAR HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING figured out a way to use a different approach. At first they thought they would need to go through the wall with minor construction. Then one of the owners called the other owner who came over and he was fairly certain they could use the existing duct work with some minor modifications which they used. This was all on a Friday afternoon. As I said I only received a quote for the heater but then called to check about the air too since it is also a very old and not energy efficient. The quote was $7100.00. First I was like no, just the heater. Then the more I thought about and after talking with Vickie Schillianskey, one of the owners, who explained the cost if we waited or had all the work done at once. We decided on both the central air and a new furnace. We decided to go with ALL YEAR HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING using Lennox for both the furnace and the central air. Their quote for both systems beat our first and second quotes which were only for the furnace. Also(huge plus) there would not be any major construction. This all happened the Friday before Thanksgiving and the weather called for rain late next week. Fortunately for us there was a cancellation and they were able to start the job on Tuesday and completed Wednesday evening. The techs called and let us know they were on their way. They taped down walkways inside the house since they would be coming in and out. Whenever we had questions they were happy to answer in laymen's terms. The company location is not far from our address and they were very familiar with installing heating and air in older houses. The job was completed on time and we were able to enjoy Thanksgiving and the storms with heat. The company also installed carbon monoxide detectors both upstairs and downstairs. The house already has two smoke detectors. A new thermostat was installed with hands on instructions on how to use. Years ago we had a tech out from another company who told us we needed to replace the furnace and air, but he would need to jackhammer up our foundation since some of the ducts are located there. This is one of the reasons we put off replacing the the units. We found out this was not the case based on the age of the home. In fact one of the inspectors commented on how efficient it was this was when he was testing the new unit. This was not like dealing with some of the larger heating and air conditioning companies out there. You don't usually have access to the owners like we did with ALL YEAR HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING. They came by a couple of times while the work was progressing and checked to see if we had any questions. I spoke with one of the owners numerous times on the phones both before, during and after the installation. The customer services is outstanding. They kept us informed of everything they were doing. For instance when they submitted the rebate paperwork to SMUD, which we received in less than month. Their receptionist called to let us know when the city inspector was coming within a time range. The entire job passed inspection with no issues. This was our first major output for a repair and were a little leery about having this done. Since our house is so old we were sure the techs were going to run in too something beyond what they had anticipated. The company was right on with how it needed to be done and completed the job with no issues. Forget the big companies and go with ALL YEAR HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING. They are totally trustworthy, knowledgeable and take care of the little guy. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to use again, It feels good to know this type of company is still out there. We have three labs who were even in the house during some of the installation. Tonight it is supposed to get close to freezing so I am so happy we were able to have the work done. Both units are energy efficient and will be saving us money in the long run.

I specified a system to provide 20,000-30,000 BTU. I spelled out why; I have a super insulated passive solar house. The quote was for 2 separate heat pumps; a 2 ton and a 3 ton. 1 ton = about 12,000 BTU. They offered twice the maximum BTU I needed . I got another quote from another firm for 30,000 BTU in 2 system, for half the price.

After receiving a bid from another company to clean the ductwork and perform a system cleaning in the furnace and air conditioner, I went with All Year Heating & Air Conditioning because they appeared to be truly knowledgeable about every aspect of the work to be performed. The owner of the company, Greg, was the individual who impressed my husband and myself with his extensive knowledge and experience in this crowded field of service providers. Because my newly purchased home is over 50 years old, it was important to have the service performed, especially since it was unlikely that any type of maintenance had ever been performed in this area on this house. Scheduling was prompt, the two man crew arrived on time and actually finished the work a little ahead of the anticipated time frame. An awful lot of crud was pulled out of the ducts.......no real surprise there.....but it did confirm that within 50 years, a great deal of debris from previous occupants can accumulate in the ductwork. The furnace and air conditioner, while only ten years old, badly needed the cleaning for which they were overdue. The build-up of dirt and debris on both of the units was threatening both systems, not to mention the health hazard it presented. The vent covers were also replaced with more modern registers. Most of them were original, inefficient equipment with no way of controlling the flow of air. While the men were still working on the cleaning, they heard my husband complain about the difficulty he had in attempting to install a smoke alarm in the hallway (something required after a recent, separate renovation) and so offered to hook it up as well. I think it took him all of 2 minutes, but it certainly eliminated an additional source of frustration on my end. The best part of having All Year do the work described above, is the peace of mind I have now, knowing that I'm not breathing 50 years worth of crap from other people. The job was something that had to be done and it really just boiled down to who would do the work. All Year is by far, the absolute best company I could have had the good fortune of doing business with. (I know that last sentence ended with a preposition but I'm late for the pool.)

What I liked was that I thought they did a really good job. They are also very nice and they did exactly what they said that they were going to do. I thought they were a little bit pricey, but I thought they did a good job and they seemed to.

Very well; they came back to finish up some pre-inspection work and all checked out fine.

They were very nice and all that, but I didn't have them do the job. When they came out for the estimate they walked through the house. I thought they were very good, very professional, and very knowledgeable. They had references, including a neighbor. Their responsiveness was very good.

We ended up choosing a different company. They were pretty comprehensive with their offering.

I called them on a Sunday and left a message, they called me back and sent the guy out on Monday. I ended up having to replace the unit. The salesman was knowledgeable and personable. He told me everything about the unit and what their services were so I would know what to expect. They installed the new unit within a week which I was thankful for. They were completely reliable. I was here one day and the next day they finished the job by themselves and I never worried about them being in my house. I couldn't even tell they had done the work when they were done because they had cleaned up so well. The AC worked fine and when I went to turn the heat on it wouldn't stay on so I called them and they sent the technician out within an hour. They had to make minor adjustments and there was no charge. About two months after the installation the salesman stopped by to make sure everything was going well. Price wise, they were in the ball park of what I was expecting to spend.

All Year did a superior job. There was a lot of work involved due to the age of what was being replaced (re-wiring, retro-fitting, etc.). Ductwork was cleaned and insulated as well. From sales to installation and clean-up, everyone was knowledgeable, courteous and professional. They finished the whole job in one day. I continue to use All Year for annual HVAC maintenance.

The technician came out and was very nice. He took care of my system very quickly and spent some time educating me about my geothermal heating & air conditioning system - which was very helpful. He then went on to assess the entire system and pointed out a bigger issue that was the real cause of some of the issues I was having. Overall this was a good experience.

My confidence with All Year and how they trained their service teams started with Jim and continued to grow as I got to work with the owners Greg and Vicki and spent an entire week watching Jason, Edgar and Ethan display craftsmanship in everything they did to install my new gas furnace and A/C unit. Greg worked out several solutions based on what we discussed during the consultation. We picked the solution which provided us the best overall value and the installation team started the following week. Greg had figured five days, but the team didn't cut corners to meet that date. They focused on doing the job right. As I was able to stay home the week they were here, I watched them go through every step in the process. I was grateful that they were professionals and craftsmen. They set up each day to protect my home and cleaned up each day to make it look like I wasn't having a major installation going on. Removing and disposing of the old equipment was icing on the cake. I am pleased!

I paid them a large amount of money to fix the problem, but after they left my air conditioner still was not working properly. I later found out that it was just a switch that needed to be replaced for $30. I called All Year to come back and fix the problem and I refused to pay a penny more since I had just paid them so much. In turn, they would not fix the problem without me paying them $30 more. I think that they are unkind and inconsiderate and that they tried to rip me off.
