Description of Work: Heater fan was on but no heat. Same thing happened last year and the year before. Other service people had used the reset button to get the heater running again. Airsmith's tech told me the unit was dangerous and needed to be replaced. I just wanted the reset button pushed again. I spoke to Mike the owner and he personally took a look at the unit. My husband met Mike and took pictures. One of the heat exchangers on this 4 year old unit had completely burned out the surrounding metal rods. It is a miracle the house did not burn down. Just resetting the reset button without checking to see what was causing the unit to stop was negligent on the part of the technician that installed the unit. Thankfully this time I used Airsmith and not the original installer. The unit is under warranty. We are still waiting for the manufacturer to ship the part so that Airsmith can install a new heat exchanger. I will update this review after the heat exchanger is installed.

Description of Work: We had a mouse/rat infestation in the area between the first and second floor and something had died. The pest people said it was in the vents, but the Airsmith people checked and it wasn't. They did find a rat nest in the ceiling outside the vent, which they removed. They also offered to return and patch the hole in the ceiling, which was made to check the vents, after the "crisis" was over. They were quick and I talked with the owner to find out exactly what the problem was so he could send the proper person out. the price was reasonable.

Description of Work: Tested house, replaced ducts, insulated attic, new heating and air conditioner.
