+ -1 moreVery pleased with Gary's service. He was very prompt picking up and delivering my antique African table. He repaired the broken leg and returned it within a week. Price was reasonable, considering the table's unique construction.
Description of Work: Repair a broken leg on an uniquely constructed table from Zanzibar.

Description of Work: He fixed the bottom of 1 of my couches and also he put a wood board in all of them (4), so we can seat on it very comfortable. Besides that, he fixed my cal king bed. He put 4 supports under the bed which makes it more stable. I also asked him to install a piece of wood behind my couch, and he did as a courtesy.

+ -1 moreGary showed up in the appointed timeframe. It was apparant he knew what he was doing. It took him about 30 minutes. The chair is good as new. I'm quite satisfied with the results.
Description of Work: I had a BarcaLounger with a broken mechanism. The retailer I purchased the chair from had provided me a replacement mechanism, but their repair subcontractor failed to show for numerous appointments. I finally gave up on them, found Affordable Furniture Repair on Angie's List, and called and spoke to Gary. He told me it would be $100 to replace the mechanism, which seemed reasonable.

+ -1 moreThe job went well. Gary was able to complete the job in a few minutes after he received the part. He called me to set up an appointment and arrived on time and replaced the broken part.
Description of Work: Gary replaced a broken part on my adjustable bed. He came out and checked the bed, then called the company and ordered the replacement for the broken part. It took about 10 days for the part to arrive. He called when the part arrived and came out and repaired the bed.

+ -1 moreI THINK THE PRICE WAS HIGH FOR THE WORK THAT HE DID. I ALSO HAD TO DO MORE BUFFING ON IT AFTER HE LEFT. I HAVE USED THEM BEFORE. THEY ARE VERY PUNCTUAL.
Description of Work: HE REFINISHED MY KITCHEN TABLE AFTER A HOTPLATE BURNT IT.
