Ace Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning

We paid $140 for him to come out and tell us what we needed done (which we already knew) but he didn’t have the part. Said we could pay him hourly to go to Home Depot and get the part, or he could come back after he makes his daily trip for other projects. He said he would come back in a couple of days. Never called us back. We called him which appeared to greatly annoy him, but he did return and charged us another $75. He was very unprofessional and extremely irate when he arrived. I am surprised this vendor has such a high Angie’s List rating. It’s why I chose them but in this case, Angie’s List was wrong wrong wrong. I have purposely left off the plumber’s name as I don’t want to criticize him publicly - if vendor is interested in following up, you can call me. We have other plumbing jobs coming up for our remodel and I’m definitely not using Ace.

I have a three year warranty. There was two that were working and it took about two days.

My wife called them for a plumbing problem we had in our kitchen. I'd give them an A - they came out and repaired it.

The job got done, but the overall process and the cost left a lot be desired. I was not at home when the Ace plumbing folks (2) came in, but I had left the new faucet with my parents (who don't understand English well) to hand over to them. The plumbers came in as scheduled, and started started the replacement process (without doing an assessment of the job, and providing a cost estimate which I had asked for). They installed the new faucet in no time, but then they discovered that the the reverse osmosis system could not be connected as the connector was not compatible. Since they didn't have the connector handy, they decided to drive local hardware store (~5-7 mins away) to procure it (without calling me to let me know about it). They returned after an hour or so with the required part, and then went on to finish the installation. Overall from start to finish the process took about ~1:45 mins, of which ~30 mins or less were spent on the installation. When it came to billing me, they billed me not only for the install, but also the time it took them to procure the part. Overall the bill came to an insane $350 or so. And this despite me providing the new faucet.

They are excellent. I have left the company I used for 30 years.They couldn't come for several weeks so I called Ace and they did an excellent job. I will absolutely use them again in the future. For one thing, i understand in the summertime when the AC goes down and you have to wait. They have been extremely responsive, and they also do plumbing which is a plus. The first time he worked on my AC he got it going, he added some freon and it worked better than it ever had worked . I thought I had a unit too small for my building and it turns out it was not. The previous company just hadn't installed it properly

I am under contract. I paid in full. They come twice a year. In the fall for the heater, and in the spring for the air conditioner. They are excellent. I left the company I was with for almost thirty years, because they could not come and service my air conditioner. They would make me wait three to four days. I called Ace, and they did a great job. I have been using them ever since. Well for one thing when everybody air conditioner goes down and you have to wait. They have been extremely responsive. They do plumbing, and that is a plus. The first time they worked on my air conditioner. He got it going and added some Freon. The unit is working better than it ever worked. The other company installed it, and I thought the unit was too small for my building. It is not, it was not set up properly.

ACE was quick to respond with availability that afternoon. The tech troubleshoot the problem and made a fix. I had purchased the 20-point inspection special, so once he had it operating with the new part, he checked the whole system providing comfort that all else was good. Even provided a year warranty on the new part. Will file their contact away as they do plumbing as well.

Very well. I obtained the needed parts from a plumbing supply co. Ace sent out a plumber who did fast & efficient repair. At my request they even sent the specific plumber who had come & expertly diagnosed my problem. Their bid to do the work was w/in Angie's guidelines for toilet repair. Toilet now functions again as it should.

it took no longer than 10 min to replace a $10.00 part twice we have used the service for leaking facets the cost is crazy high. but the service men are great. keep up the good work ,and could you lower the price a little.

I called in about 0830 on a Friday and a service rep was here in less than two hours. He was within the scheduled time window, pleasant, professional, and courteous. He fixed the problem in 15-20 minutes. It was a simple fix that I should have been able to figure out, but didn't. Regardless, I will definitely consider Ace for future issues.

Was able to fix the dispenser and shower head bar but didn't want to open up tub base/enclosure without knowing how the contractor installed the walnut wood base. I appreciated the fact that he was cautious instead of damaging the walnut wood base.

Josh arrived less than one hour after my call. He had driven from Elk Grove to Davis. He immediately diagnosed the problem, explained it very well and got to work immediately. He let me know where the clog was located within the line. He was very pleasant and readily accepted my Angie's List coupon for 10% off. I would definitely call this company again for plumbing service.

Services was wonderful - prompt and courteous. I would definitely hire them again based on this experience.

Extremely pleased with the outcome and have an appointment next week to fix the shower. Appreciated the fact that several options and explanation were provided for the fixes and not just the most expensive one.

It was like "in and out"! It took them about 20 minutes and the faucet was in and working! Good job! And...my back did not hurt once! :)

They tried to make it work and told me what part to buy (parts supply house was surprised they did not go get correct part) but they did not work....I had to pay a service call and then call another plumber and had to replace the valve for the faucet and handles; the original was not correctly installed. Original contractor had installed a deck mount faucet/handle set in the wall which does not work properly....I was not told that I had to replace everything in the wall by Ace....

My son-in-law came by the day after I bought the service from Angie's List. He removed the trap and fixed the problem. Scotty from Ace Plumbing called soon after. Since I no longer needed the sink fixed, we arranged for him to install a new dishwasher I planned to buy. I haven't had time to shop for a dishwasher so haven't used his service. However, he was cheerful, ready to revise what I'd needed done and to wait for me to find time to shop.

Tony Ferrante was an excellent plumber. He had to break thru my kitchen wall to access pipe works and also break away some cement from one side of drain reservoir to accomodate new drain.

My husband took care of it. I remember we got the number off of Angie’s List. The individual that came out started preaching the gospel to us and talking about politics. We felt kind of awkward about that part. I’m sure he was just a contractor with them. He was assuming we had the same values, it was a little awkward. I would use them again if I didn’t get the same guy out, the same person.
