+ -1 more"What's the LEAST we can possible do" should be the company motto. Jerry was recommended by our realtor. After putting us off for a month because of Covid (not his fault) his crew showed up 2 days before move in date worked on the demo for a few hours and then called to tell me that he was not prepared to remove existing hardwood floor in the hall. His quote listed "Demo and remove old flooring and install laminate" He informed me that "Demo" does not included floor removal even when I pointed out what his quote included. Told me I should have know this and that I needed to find someone else. I got my realtor to intervene and the eventually did finish the job but immediately threatened to put a lien on the house when I did not respond to his texts (we were away on vacation). So..yes they finished the job. BUT they didn't do the work that was agreed upon AND were ready to abandon the project. Not the worst contractor but a close second. He will of course deny this and say it's all my fault.

Description of Work: Refinished hardwood floors: including sanding, repairing stains, putting in matching flooring, and finishing floor.

+ -1 moreThese people are basically criminals. They flooded and nearly destroyed my house, then denied it, even though they were the only ones in there. One of their workers went into a part of the house they shouldn't have been in, then turned on water they should have touched, then flooded my place with water on all three floors. I happened to come home in time to catch it before it got too bad, then had to spend thousands to bring in professionals to clean up their mess. All of which was bad enough, but then they lied, lied and lied some more. Avoid these scumbags at all costs. They're cheaper (and their work shows it) but it's just not worth it. Going with them was one of the worst decisions I've ever made.
Description of Work: Refinishing about 1,000 square feet of wood flooring.

+ -1 moreExcellent services for all 8 of my specific projects and AA Peter Floors has preformed professionally. As with all contractors do be specific on your expectations of materials and finish surfaces. It would be a benefit to google refinishing or floor installation for basic ideas as to what will be required for your flooring project.
Description of Work: Peter's team (Jerry is the lead/forman) is an excellent source for wood floor refinishing and new floor installation. AA Peter Floor Sanding has performed no less that 8 projects that includes minor hardwood repair to whole house (2000+ sq. ft.) hardwood floor refinishing and installation. Peter's team has also worked on my two daughters homes installing new engineered hardwood floor with 6" baseboard (2,000 sq. ft.) and floor refinishing. I have recommended Peter to friends and family for floor installation and reserfacing needs and would recommend AA Peter Flooring to all who requires this service. I'm an architect and my needs can be very specific and some say fussy. Peter and his team are quick, fair, keeps the project site clean and very professional.

+ -1 moreEverything went exactly as planned. The finished product was extraordinary... especially considering the price!!!
Description of Work: We purchased an abused rental home in Carmichael. The carpets were in horrible shape... however, the wood floors underneath were in great shape. Peter came in with his four person crew, replaced several wood strips (after staining them to a perfect match), sanded the floors, then amongst 3 days, applied 3 coats of sealer and a coat of polyurethane for over a thousand sq. ft of oak flooring.
