I contacted Jeff on Monday, November 4, because first I needed an old ceiling fan removed and a new one installed. Second, I needed my garage door opener installed in a way that is up to code. Last, I was looking for input on retrofitting incandescent kitchen light cans for LED lighting. Jeff called me back the same day and made an appointment for the following day. He arrived on time and placed shoe covers on his feet prior to entering my home. He quickly went to work taking down the old fan, taking care to protect my floors. My new fan was not easy to install, so I was extremely pleased how Jeff took care to assemble and install my new pride and joy. Jeff disconnected the original fan controller switches on the wall at my request because the fan works by remote control and iPhone app. Jeff gave me great guidance for converting the incandescent lighting in the kitchen to LED, sending a link to the website and Home Depot with my invoice. He finished the work by removing an old and ugly fluorescent light in the garage so that the garage door opener could be safely plugged in. He was great at troubleshooting and offering me all the options to correct the problem. Jeff is easy to work with, professional, and obviously skilled. I would not hesitate to hire him again should the need arise.

Jeff responded quickly and was able to come out the same morning to help see why all the lights were flickering throughout my house. He suggested I call Edison first so that if the issue was on their end, I may end up saving time and money. This was the first sign that he runs an honest company. Because I was worried about the issue, I asked him to come over anyway and he did within an hour. He carefully looked at the fuse box and did some tests and then explained in layman's terms what the possible issues could be. As things looked good on our end, he looked at the power lines running to the house and estimated the issue may be on Edison's side. I had called Edison in the meantime and they were going to send someone out, but they could not give me a timeframe of when to expect a tech. Jeff said he would not charge me for his time, but I wanted to obviously, so he kindly offered to accept the payment for the time he was there. The next day, Jeff called to see if the issue was resolved. I told him Edison still had not sent anyone and Jeff offered to call Edison for me! That is service. I said I would gladly take him up on that if the tech didn't come out in the next day. Fortunately, a tech finally arrived the next day and they found the cause was a bad connection on the wire. Overall, Jeff was very professional, kind, amazing follow up and service. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Jeff is a true Pro! Everything went very well. I had bought my home about 5 months ago and the lighting was a issue thru out the house. On the first job I called Jeff and he was able to come out on a Saturday to install all the old outlets and switches in the entire house including the Garage. He also took a hard look at the main panel to make sure the house was wired safe. Jeff charged $1100.00 including parts and labor that took the entire day. Jeff is respectful, clean, and very knowledgeable in his craft. Also making very great recommendations and answering any questions that I had! We had schedule the 2nd job for about 3 week later to install the 9 LED recessed lighting fixtures in the bonus room, kitchen, hallway & bathrooms. He showed up with all the parts. Jeff did a fabulous job. Now my new home has all has all new switches, outlets, dimmer switches, along will LED lighting thru out the house. The lighting is great and has a great flow and I can plan on saving money on my monthly electrical bill. Plus I know the status of the safety of the main panel. Jeff charged my $ 823.00 for both parts and labor. I would recommend Jeff to anyone who need a good electrician. If I need any more work in the future, Jeff is my guy. I am very pleased with his service and you will be also!

I recommend Jeff Vickland! Jeff is a true pro. I hired Jeff to replaced all my switches, dimmer switches, and outlets in my newly purchased home. Jeff also recommended to install all new LED lights in the house and to replace the recessed lighting with them. We scheduled a second job to replace 9 LED recessed lights. Now my house has great lighting thru out. Great lighting thru out and this should give me lower cost on the monthly electric bill. The price of $ 1900.00 was for and labor for both on jobs combined. Jeff was also to looked into the main panel to make sure it was safe. I am very pleased with Jeff's professionalism and skill set. That's all one really expects from a customer service professional, but it seems harder and harder to find one that will actually even return a phone call, let alone do what they say they will. He was here when he said he was going to be here. He cleaned up after himself. He was very good. Nice young man. I would recommend him. He went above and beyond. He even helped my husband move the christmas tree into the garage.

This is our third time having Jeff Vickland do electrical work for us. And as far as we are concerned there is no electrician more competent, knowledgeable, or professional. His personality is a pleasant one to invite into our home.

Jeff arrived on time and checked the outlet and lights to determine the problem. I have knob and tube wiring. Jeff said he was not that familiar with K&T and suggested I hire someone who specialized in it. He referred me to someone who was able to fix the problem. He did not charge me for the call. It went as well as expected. I used his services before when he installed a 240 volt electrical line for my electric raku kiln. He called me back the next day to set up an appointment for the estimate a couple of days later. He was prompt on time and brought with him everything he would need to do the job if the estimate was the right price for me.He removed the old fixtures then he checked out the size of the overhead vent before he installed the lights and left to purchase the fan for it. he installed the fan first and showed me how to adjust the thermostat. Then he installed the new lights (prior to installing them) he gave me a choice of bulbs for specific lighting and explained the various types of light they give off. The support beams in the garage were not sturdy and needed to be reinforced, so he attached them to the roof beams. He left extra wiring cord wrapped neatly, in case at a later date I could lower the lights without having an electrician come out again. When he was finished, I was so pleased! my garage looked huge with the lights placed up high. I love it. For any electrical need that I might have, Jeff is the one I will call.

I originally called Jeff to have an outdoor receptacle installed in conjunction with a sprinkler system. I added more outdoor receptacles and an indoor ceiling fan/light to the list after meeting with him. He was very accommodating in working around the landscapers? schedule and weather. I am very happy with his work and would call him again for future work.

Jeff was a pleasure to work with. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. After assessing my situation, he had a couple different suggestions on placement and wire routing. I didn't provide him all the information I should have during our initial call. After making my decision, he got to work on getting my problem taken care of. He spent more time than he needed and explained what he was doing every step of the way. Some contractors get very annoyed if you look over their shoulders as they work, but Jeff didn't mind at all and answered all of my questions. He cleaned up the install very nicely and it looks like it was installed when the house was built, I am completely satisfied with his work. In addition, he spent time reviewing options for future work and made sure I was completely okay with the install before he left. If dealing with all contractors was this easy and stress-free, I think people would have a lot more home improvement work done. I will definitely use Jeff's services again and would recommend him to anyone needing electrical work done.

I was extremely impressed that he had several suggestions costing varying amounts of money and he suggested that I try the new outside outlet first to see if it trips during the initial heating time. If so, he gave me a fair estimate and asked me to contact him if it turned out that I did need his services.

The job was done professionally and Jeff was courteous and respectful. He took the time to listen and make sure he understood what I wanted done. I had used his company before and was very impressed. He is always prompt and cleans up like he was never there.

There were no ceiling fans in the master bedroom and living room of our existing house. After living through a summer without, we decided to get them installed in both locations. Our ceilings in both locations are vaulted with tongue and groove cedar wood, and access was not easy. In the living room there was a large, solid beam. Jeff was able to completely conceal the wiring and do so without creating a mess. In the bedroom, access was even more limited, again with cedar wood covering the vaulted ceiling. Jeff went above and beyond to get a wire to the center of the room without having to tear any of the wood apart, or run trim over the finish wood to hide the wiring. Both installations of the fans were done superbly and quite quickly. In addition to the fans, we had Jeff install a couple of halogen puck lights over the kitchen sink. The installation was also done so beautifully. My wife and I are so happy with the work that Jeff did on our home. He was very low key and sensitive to our needs. He was extremely clean, putting down plastic everywhere and covering his shoes when coming into our house. His attention to detail and craftsmanship really pleased us. He was very prompt at responding to our emails and phone calls. We have other electrical work that needs to be done, and we will for sure have Jeff back out to do those projects too.

Called Jeff to discuss some electrical issues I was having - we scheduled an appointment to meet the following day at 4:00 - Jeff never showed up, although I called and left a voicemail. I left work early also to meet with him, and never heard from him.

Jeff provided me with a ballpark estimate over the phone to give me an idea of the work involved and the costs. Once I agreed to move forward, we set an appointment within the next couple of days. Jeff showed up on time and did a walk-through to confirm assumptions and finalize the estimate. He explained how he would approach each facet of the job and readily answered my questions. The final estimate was within the range we had previously discussed and I approved proceeding with the work. He made a quick trip for supplies and started working. He was efficient and the job was completed in about four hours. His craftsmanship is professional and I was very pleased with the finished product. He also alerted me to an exhaust fan in one of the bathrooms that is venting only into the attic and not out to the exterior of the house. I will definitely contact Jeff again when I need electrical work done. He's knowledgeable, polite, and prompt. He did a great job in getting the exterior conduit to conform to the exterior trim edges so that it blends into the house and provides a very finished look. The outlets work as advertised and have already proved useful when getting yardwork done.

Jeff was always here within 5 minutes of his appointment. He worked efficiently, and always found a way to do EXACTLY what my husband and I wanted. He was one terrific electrician and computer expert. He only had my computer for one day.....very appreciated. The lights outside were up very high, and as retired folks we really needed his expertise. We will call him again when we need him.
