Ray did an outstanding job. From our first contact with him, he was responsive, attentive, and very professional. From initial contact, to job completion was but a mere couple of days. Ray did what we wanted (and what he said he would do...) in a timely manner and at a very fair price. The quality of his work is what really stands out to us. The finished product looks fantastic. Not only would we recommend Ray to our friends and family (already have...), but we plan on using him again ourselves on another project in the near future. As a bonus...him and his wife are really nice people!

Excellent! I have redone five houses in California & Nevada and was so pleased with the work done by Ray the cabinet maker. A perfectionist in his work and a courteous person - it was such a pleasure to work with his company and I receive many compliments from whoever sees the kitchen. The living room and kitchen are open to one another and the view between rooms is wonderful. The cost may seem high (but it's not), but it included roll-out shelves on lower drawers, creating four drawers out of two, a new cabinet which houses the microwave and new oven, a new cabinet of drawers where the oven had been, built-in rolling wastebaskets, new crown moulding, new kick bases and repair of the bad facing on the existing cabinets. I am so blessed to have found Simply Cabinet Solutions on Angie's List. I'll try to include a photo the next time I log-in.

Simply Cabinet Solutions was a referral to us from our cabinet supplier. Ray came out, surveyed our kitchen prior to install and reviewed our drawings and cabinet order bill of materials. He quickly provided a quote for the work which was 22% of the total cost of the cabinets. His communication was great, commitment to his installation dates were as promised and he arrived on time each day. Ray's installation and attention to detail was exceptional. The crown molding and base trim lines were tight, our kitchen turned out absolutely amazing. At the end of his day, he cleaned up and left our home like he was never there. The cabinetry portion, as well as, the complete update project was very successful. Ray is a master cabinet craftsman who is skilled in all aspects of cabinetry. He completed all of the listed project tasks himself very professionally and within scheduled project time frames. Ray was very valuable to us as a knowledgeable professional who presented ideas to us for our consideration concerning cabinet construction, e.g., wherever possible, eliminate cabinet doors and fixed shelves in the lower cabinets and replace them with drawers which he fabricated himself. Aside from the updated look of our kitchen cabinets the best advantage gained from the kitchen/laundry room project was the significant added access and storage space gained from all the fixed shelf cabinets converted to drawers. Another idea Ray presented was building a spice drawer underneath the 30" counter cook-top that has proven to be very functional. He recommended the addition of larger crown molding over the cabinets; he was very careful to maintain straight top sight lines along banks of drawers and doors in the same section; and he even installed the cabinet door knobs so that all of them were installed vertically (per our decision) rather than horizontally or randomly. These are things only a meticulous experienced (not us!) cabinet maker would know! As many Angie's List reviewers have stated, Ray was personable, easy to work with especially within our budget, reliable, punctual, precise in his workmanship, and prompt in responding to emails or phone calls. He does not work after 5:00 PM on week days and not on weekends. Ray completed our project in November 2017, but I waited until now to complete this review to see if any problems developed. As expected no problems needed to be addressed. We recommend Simply Cabinet Solutions highly to all Angie's list users looking for a very skilled cabinet-maker.

I couldn't be happier with the work he did. He is the type of guy who cares about his work and that it is done right. The countertop installers even commented on how well the cabinets were installed. I have already recommended him to others and Will figure out a way to bring him to Colorado to do another home for me.

My wife and I spent nearly $20k on our new cabinets, and wanted to ensure we find someone who can competently install our cabinets. My wife spoke to several people and cabinet show rooms to ask who they would recommend to have our cabinets installed. Indeed, Mr. Ray Rodriguez's (Simply Cabinet Solutions) name keeps coming up as a reliable and experienced professional who is knowledgeable with several types and brands of cabinets. When it came time to install our cabinets, Ray always showed up to work on time, and had a complete variety of tools for the job. He even repaired some cabinets that came damaged caused by my delivery service. Ray's craftsmanship was impecable. My wife and I appreciated how Ray would give us the opportunity to give our feedback on how we wanted some cabinet items installed; such as trims and handles. Moreover, at the end of each work day, Ray would clean up the work space and leave the area safe. Above all, Ray's service fee was fair and reasonable. Three words that describe Ray's work ethic: experienced, meticulous, and fair. In summary, we would indeed recommend Ray (Simply Cabinet Solutions) to our friends and family.

Great! The cabinet doors anda face turned out beautifully! I am so ahppy with the result. In addition Ray did some research to fix some problems with my cabinet hindges in the kitchen. He ended up just doing a simple repair job for no cost. Really nice guy. I enjoyed working with him and would hire him again.

He was really good. There is only 1 in the company. It's a single owner and it took a couple of months from beginning to end. It's not a short process because he has to build them.

We wanted to redo our kitchen, but not replace cabinets. Ray made drawers and fabricated the current cabinet boxes to allow them to be installed. He did a great job with adding them in to our current drawers and doors. They match perfect. He added slow close feature to our doors and the drawers he made. We contracted Ray to do a major repair on our 25 year house that had kitchen bar that was splitting due to unknown reasons. We also had him install a rollout trash drawer and door to replace the ancient trash compactor that was there. He also helped us revise our entertainment center to accommodate wide screen LCD TVs that are now standard. Ray is a great professional and a perfectionist. He took on this challenge with our maple kitchen bar repair that others would not touch. He does not demand that he only work on cabinets or woodwork he made like some others on Angie's List. Ray is always on time and is very concerned with doing a good job, as well as meeting your budget constraints. He had many options and ideas for things that were helpful in determining our course forward and always consulted with me whenever there was a particular challenge that required a judgement on which option to pursue. The repairs and new installations were all done with professionalism and great care to assure no damage and he always cleaned up after himself very well. I would highly recommend him for this type of work and will likely be using him again for other jobs we have planned.

I did a major kitchen remodel about 7 years ago and unfortunately our original cabinet man no longer in business...and I needed some maintenance. I found Ray on Angies list and called on Tuesday because i was off this week...on the chance he might be able to fit me in this week. he was able to schedule today, Wednesday 9:00 a.m. - he was on time and looked over job. Over the phone I understood there was a 2 hour min. charge which I feel is completely fair and he wasn't sure how long the microwave trim kit would take because he had to see what was involved. He took care with everything and in the end accomplished the job in far less time and under the 2 hours...it looks great! I was also happy to hear he does some custom cabinet work (and I had him estimate a smaller job we are thinking of in the future for another room). I am confident that if you are looking for a repair or remodel of cabinetry in recommending Ray and I encourage you to call him. I am very impressed with is professionalism and workmanship. I am very pleased with my job.

If you want cabinets built by a skilled, meticulous, thoughtful, experienced, respectful, intelligent artisan, Ray is your man. We could not be more pleased with the gorgeous cabinets he built for our laundry room. In this day and age of shoddy workmanship and irresponsible fly-by-nighters, Ray is a million breaths of fresh air. Additionally, he and his wonderful wife Hayley (sp?) couldn?t have been more considerate, careful, or less intrusive during the tricky-but-fully-successful installation process.
