Professional Image Landscaping

We have had them for the last 10 years. They're a local company. They are here right now. They come every week. Their price is excellent. Were not friends, but we know each other. I can call them on the phone and tell them I have a problem and stuff like that. They continue to their hardest and works on sprinklers when he has to and stuff like that. If something comes up and I tell him I don't like it, he takes care of it.

Ron was good to work with during the design/contract process, very friendly and professional and patient. As with most of the landscape professionals I dealt with in the bid process, their original estimate (20k) was nowhere near the final price (30 plus engineering). Kurt and his crew did good work on the demo and rebuild.. It took longer than anticipated, and a few things required fixing after they were "done" (concrete cracking, some sloppy details). Overall, I feel this is a reputable company run by good people, and despite some frustrations during my project, I would recommend their services.

Excellent. Every aspect of service was done in same quality professional manner as original back yard, major remodel project done in prior year. We will keep calling Kurt to maintain the fountain on an annual basis.

We were replacing an area of grass in our back yard with a concrete patio. We chose a stamped concrete. Part of the patio was going to be the base of our hot tub. Kurt and his crew were professional, very nice, and Kurt had excellent recommendations in regards to protecting our Redwood trees from damage in regards to placement of the patio, and protecting the patio from cracks due to the Redwood trees. He recommended a barrier just outside the edge of the patio that was 18 inches deep to prevent the roots from damaging the concrete long term. He also was knowledgeable as far as landscaping was concerned, in regards to our sprinkler system, surrounding plants, preservation of the existing trees and plants, and other recommendations, including design. He was more expensive, but based on our 3 other estimates, he was the most thorough, and both my husband and I felt that it was worth the additional cost.

We moved to Granite Bay in June 2012 and contacted Kurt White of Prefessional Image at the recommendation of our pool contractor. They had recently completed a project together and the pool builder was impressed with Kurt. After meeting with Kurt, I was as well. We were doing a complete remodel of our large backyard and wanted an outdoor shade structure, a full kitchen, bar and fireplace in addition to all new plants and concrete. Kurt took over the design of the pool and made a few changes and then created an amazing outdoor space with all the elements we requested. This was a large scale project and the crew started sometime in late July and completed it in late August. Kurt did a 3-D rendering on his computer of what our project would look like when it was finished and it was amazing to see it beforehand. We didn't have to change a thing. He really nailed it. Kurt had listened to our needs and wants and had designed us an absolutely amazing space! Kurt was either on-site every day or visited the site at the end of the day. His crew was great, left the work area as clean as possible daily and knew what they were doing. Kurt worked seamlessly with the pool builder and there no issues. Because we were new to the area, we didn't know which plants/trees would do well in this climate so we let Kurt pretty much pick and choose what to plant. He gave great advice as to how many lights to install and as a result our yard is just as gorgeous as night as it is during the day. Communication with him was great and we were always informed as to what would be going on that day. He also gave us timely reminders such as when to go pick out stone or tile or puchase appliances so there were no delays because he forgot to tell us to order something. The scope of our project increased slightly as time went on because we made the decision to let Kurt handle building a retaining wall and a moss rock wall to hide the pool equipment. I have been a homeowner for 30 years and have done many different projects to those homes. I have never been as happy with the results and the contractor as I am with this project (pool builder was excellent too). I gave a B grade for price only because I did not get another estimate so I can't compare. I typically get several estimates but once I met Kurt and saw his vision for our space, I decided I wanted him for this job. I have never regretted it and would recommend Kurt White and Professional Image Landscaping without hesitation. He created paradise for us in our own backyard!

Kurt White was always very responsive and excellent to work with. He always had great ideas for our backyard improvement project. His crews are highly trained professionals, hard working and very friendly. It was a real pleasure having them work on our project. The project was done in a very timely manner and within our budget. There were no surprises.. We would highly recommend Kurt White and PIL for any landscaping project. A++++.

Priscilla Gibson is the woman who did the design and she works privately. We are using her services primarily. She is a very good designer. She gave a lot of good information on her consultation. She is local. I paid her $160 for the design. She was responsive, informative and very professional. The design is excellent and we are following it pretty closely. We are going to bring her back for some more consultation.
