Description of Work: I would highly recommend them and I was never more impressed with a company than this company. They did a kitchen remodel for us about 3 years ago. They know what they are doing and they explained everything too. They made sure the house was protected so that dust would not transfer into other rooms. They always showed up on time and picked up everything as well.

Description of Work: did great although it took awhile to get started. there was some water damage that had to be fixed and they did great. finished bathroom looks very good.

Description of Work: Remodeled my whole bathroom. The workers were polite and professional and always on time. There were times I would have to leave them in my home while I was not there and I trused them completly. I would recommend them and even use them again! The reason I gave them "B" in the "overall" catagory is because everyone can impove.

Description of Work: We needed some dry rotted siding replaced. They organized the work plan , went for supplies while other workers removed the siding, they primed and painted, hauled off debris and cleaned up--- all executed on the same visit within a couple of hours. Great work and efficient. Also, conscious of my time. I'd use them again.

Description of Work: Tear out old tile and replace. Install new fixtures, toilet,ceiling fan, move electrical supply to accommodate full wall glass enclosure. Some services were paid directly to the subcontractors and the fixtures, toilet,and ceiling fan were purchased by me but all those services/ items are included in the total price of $7000.

Description of Work: This was a re-model of my hall bathroom, with installation of a matching vanity in the master bath. The project was completed on time and on budget. Work was excellent and I'm pleased with the result. | |To the left, I could be extremely flexible about the timeframe, so there wasn't always someone working. I verbally approved all requests for delays. Nonetheless, this led me to feel that my job was less important than some other, bigger (?) project.

Description of Work: The workmanship and professionalism was great. However the allowance of $1200 set by Angie's List for the purchase of bathroom fixtures and materials and were inadequate. Who buys a tub for $150?

Description of Work: Project was put on hold due to a septic problem. Shawn has been very easy to work with, professional, and up front with any potential problems or changes.

Description of Work: I bought the deal thinking it was really going to cost me $4749 to remodel my small bathroom, I was even taking into account going over a few hundred, but the proposal came in at $6976, that's over $2000 more than what I anticipated spending. Shawn was timely to the scheduled appointment, and prompt with the proposal, but way too expensive.

Description of Work: Removed wallboard around the tub, replaced shower valve then installed mounting blocks for grab bars then new wallboard, r&r flooring, installed new vinal tiles in two baths and molding, installed 3 new toilets, installed new countertop sink combo and faucet, exhaust fan, curtain rod and painted room. Home Solutions subs out the installation of the tub surround but you have to contact the sub and he would never return my calls so I contracted with Home Depot for the tub surround and its installation. Home depot installed the grab bar. I supplied everything except for the subfloor, wallboard, floor molding, roof jack and connect tubing for the fan, caulking, paint and solder used to connect the new shower valve. The coupon deal was misleading since they don't do the tub surround which was supposed to be about $1700 and I had to spend $3608.I bought my own toilets, counter and flooring and valves so I could get what I wanted. The change in ordinance the first of the year required all bathrooms be brought up to standard if you remodeled just one bathroom.

Description of Work: Shawn worked a miracle in our kitchen, completely remodelling it from a 1980's inefficient use of the space, to a refreshed, current, useful, efficient kitchen that looks gorgeous! He also (within this price) did some work in our bathroom - not a complete bath remodel, but about 2/3s of it - and we are already discussing having him come back for more odds and ends. He is unbelievably responsive, answers every question, no matter how silly, and offers great advice when you're stuck about which way to go on something. We would absolutely use him again.

Description of Work: They are excellent at listening to what we wanted in a bathroom remodel. We have not started the project yet but when we are ready to remodel, I would love to implement the plans drawn up by Home Solutions Construction--and have them do the work based on our experiences during the initial visit. We are impressed with them!
