GVD Renovations installed James Hardie Siding for our neighbors, so we decided to call them for an estimate. They were friendly, competitive, and completed the great work without making a mess. We're very pleased and have recommended them to others.

We had a very large home remodel recently completed by GVD - Kitchen, Master Bath, and 2 guest baths. The sales and design process was excellent - great communication and they worked with us to choose the right layouts and materials. The construction process was long, but worth it and given the scope of the job completed in a very reasonable amount of time. The tile/marble work in particular is spectacular - the attention to detail and quality of workmanship has made for 4 beautiful rooms. The master bath in particular was a huge remodel and change and the kitchen is a dream, clean lines and fully functional. They clearly communicated any changes to costs based on our asks so there were no surprises. all of the subcontractors made sure to confirm design details before proceeding and at times made recommendations that were better than our original plans. The GVD team handled course corrections and changes real time. We are very satisfied with the work and love our new home.

After being referred to GVD Renovations by friends who had their siding replaced, we had a great experience with them. GVD recently installed Hardy Plank siding on our entire home. It was a large, complicated job and they were absolute pros! It was a pleasure working with them. GVD was great! From the initial visit were we went over all our options and pricing, to final inspection. Crew was always on time( early) and answered all my questions and very pleasant and professional. Very detail oriented work. Will hire again for my next project!

GVD Renovations responded promptly to our inquiry. The estimator arrived as promised, on time. The value choices presented were clear. Communication was good during the window manufacturing and delivery period. The crew that arrived to replace the windows was hardworking, organized, courteous, and coordinated with other workmen with ease. All of the above is what you want from a contractor.

This is an UPDATE to my earlier review that I posted in January. GVD Renovations is an amazing company that provides great customer service, even after-the-fact! We found a couple of minor issues that weren't evident after my kitchen was completed. The job was done, it was 100% paid for, and the inspection was signed off, so GVD could have ignored my call. They didn't. I explained the issues to Max, he sent one of their guys (Mike), and Mike fixed the two minor issues. All is well. I love my new kitchen and I am so glad that I chose GVD Renovations over the other companies I received bids from!

GVD Renovations replaced aluminum siding in front of the house and soffits around the whole house with the James Hardie fiber cement siding. They also painted the existing stucco and replaced all gutters. They also replaced 3 existing front windows. Initially, there were setbacks caused by supply chain issues with custom windows. This delayed the project by about 6 month. Once the project started, it was handled efficiently. The windows did not fit perfectly and the structure around the windows had to be changed. All the work was done perfectly and within the originally quoted price. We are very happy with the results.

The project involved replacing/relocating kitchen island plus countertops, backsplash, range hood insert, floor tile, electrical and plumbing for a high end custom home. The project went as planned cradle to grave, noteworthy and impressive considering COVID. GVD said 5 weeks for construction. It took 5 weeks. The design team did a wonderful job rendering our future kitchen allowing us to see [not just imagine] what it will look like both aesthetically and functionally. The construction crew knew their business. Each an expert in his craft. They worked efficiently making big efforts to wall off the rest of the house from the construction area and maintaining a tidy construction area throughout the construction period. Even the 'permit guy' was impressed saying he could not find a code they did not follow to the letter. Bottom line: I would definitely recommend them and will use them again for my next project.

The best part is that they were done within two weeks, which was amazing.

Holy moly! Where do I begin?! I had been needing my siding replaced for well over a year, and thanks to all my dad's loving nagging and threats that I may have dry rot, a fire was lit under my butt and so began my research. Let me just say that I'm so glad I came across GVD. From my initial request for a quote through to the project close out I was blown away by this company's professionalism, quality of work, communication (I'm huge on communication), friendliness, and customer reviews via yelp, Angie's List, BBB, etc. Andy was the person who came out to do the initial quote and was such a nice person. He took time to explain the various siding options offered as well as pros/cons of each, and even gave me multiple estimates (I was originally thinking of only replacing two of the four sides of the house most is need), but am so happy I decided to do all four! Following the estimates, I needed time to talk it over with my husband, and get some other quotes. During my "contemplation phase" Andy was responsive to all of my questions (and I had a lot), and never once tried to push a sale. When we decided to move forward with the project, everything was smooth sailing, and hassle free since GVD pulled permits with the City on my behalf. Work actually started sooner than anticipated and finished much quicker as well. During the demo/reconstruction the crews arrived on time, worked incredibly hard, and cleaned up after themselves each day. There was always a point person on the crew who I was able to communicate with regarding questions/arrangements for the next day. I was even freaking out because my internet was impacted due to the demolition and the crew actually helped me to move the fiber wire under the new siding so it was protected (and invisible - bonus points!). Every day I'd check on the progress made after the crews had gone home and just stare in utter amazement at how great my house looked. The entire project took just four days to complete! And I realize this is probably not the norm because there were multiple crews helping out on a few days due to some delays on other job sites. The new siding looks better than I ever expected it could or would look. I previously had a cardboard composite type material on the house, and replaced with Hardie Board. GVD also had the added task of installing plywood to my entire house as there wasn't any under the original siding. The installation of the siding, the trim around the windows, doors and garage, and the flashing, and all the attention to the small details literally blew me away. GVD also painted my gutters, eaves, foundation, and downspouts, saving me the trouble of having to find a painter! My dad (the instigator of the entire project) was beyond impressed as well. Having witnessed some really shady contractors and sub-par work in the past, I'm so happy I decided to go with GVD and I'm so grateful for the outstanding work they did on my home. In a nutshell, here are the pros/cons of GVD (related to siding): Pros: Professional Friendly Open/constant communication Financing options Clean Perfectionists Quick Cons: None - no, seriously! I'm so appreciative and thankful for the work GVD did on my home, from my initial consult with Andy, to communications with Victoria and Igor, subsequent walkthroughs/conversations with Vlad, and the incredible work done by Yaro, Vadim, and all of the men on the crew (whose names I didn't catch). My home looks beyond incredible. I hope that I don't need to have my siding redone in the near future, but if there was ever another need, I would not hesitate to go with GVD!

The final renovation is great! Getting there was not easy. We called them many times checking on the schedule instead of them letting us know ahead of time when they were coming. Lots of waiting on material and craftsmen. I don’t believe this was all due to the COVID pandemic.

Our project was a complete installation of Hardie Board siding on our house, sheds and a patio cover replacement. We originally had one half of the house covered in vinyl siding and one half in stucco. The old metal patio cover was from the 60's. GVD's siding crew were craftsmen that expertly installed siding, trimmed and painted that trim on the house and our two sheds, built a special door for the cover of the water heater cabinet, trimmed out the front door eave and pole hiding some sprinkler wires that had long been an eyesore, and took the time to make sure that everything was lined up and perfect. We have an old house that had many issues that GVD patiently overcame without sacrificing quality. We also worked on reducing outside cabling and wiring so that the new siding look is clean. They saved our Leaf Guard gutters and reinstalled them. GVD put up with my questions and concerns along with way. We were so pleased with this engagement that we have signed up with GVD for two follow-on projects.

GVD did amazing work! They were fast clean and got the permits for the city so we didnt have to worry about anything! They’re easy to get in contact with if you have any questions. Our home looks incredible and we love it!

GVD Renovations replaced the siding on our entire house and did an amazing job! We're still getting compliments to this day. They showed up on the days that they said they were coming to do the work and left each day making sure that the workspace was left completely pristine. Talk about a group of true professionals, they were always willing to work with us and accommodate our requests -- friendly crew, quality work, and just beautiful workmanship. We highly recommend and would definitely work with them again on future home projects.

My wife and I decided to fix the siding, soffit, windows and gutters of our home before our first child was born. Honestly, my wife and i knew nothing about sidings, window brands or contracting before this. So we took our time and did our research. We got contacted multiple recommended contractors from on Angie's List. GVD responded immediately and we setup an appointment with Andy. Andy was helpful in answering our many questions. During the whole decision process, Andy stayed in contact constantly, answering alot more questions we had about their process, pricing and products. In the end we chose GVD as they surprising price matched one of the other bids we got. The project was slated to take around 2-3 weeks starting in beginning of July which was perfect timing as our baby was due around 7 weeks from the time they were to start. Alex and his team were very professional and made sure to wear face masks when inside the house and clean up the site at the end of the day. Special thanks to Vitale(?) who helped complete a lot of the tiny details my wife pointed out. Unfortunately, the wrong sized sliding door was ordered and the Alside factory at the time was operating at 60% due to COVID-19 so it would take a couple weeks for a new slider to be made. This pushed the project to be completed after our son was born. The one negative from our experience was the Alside products. Although all windows and sliding doors were installed professionally, we had issues with the product themselves. We choose to do a black exterior and white interior for the window finish. Unfortunately we did not know that you could see the black exterior from the inside, which looks somewhat odd to us. The black finish was also not done very well as it overlapped in some of the white finish (I was able to clean this off myself with some work). Another thing was the Alside Mezzo windows had issues with the seals that held the window panes in place. The seals were not entirely cut to size and alot of them were cut short and were loose because of it. The sliding door screen also has an issue locking when trying to close. I am not sure if this is just the quality of the Alside product (we were debating about buying Anderson 100s but were convinced otherwise by Andy) or if the COVID-19 situation reduced the quality of the product by Alside at the factory level. Either way, this was not Vlad and his team's fault and they did their best in trying to resolve some of these issues. Overall, the siding, soffit and gutters were installed professionally and look great! If we had to do it again, we would probably choose a different Alside product or different brand (Anderson) for the windows and sliding door replacement. GVD were a great company to work with. They have excellent work ethic by starting work by 8 am each morning, work through until lunch, then cintinue working until 5 pm. No sitting around, playing loud music, talking on their phones. They kept the work area clean and neat at the end of each day. The final product is beautiful. The work crew were professional and polite. Thank you GVD I love the look of my house.
