Sam and Steven are still here as I write this. This is day 4 of a very labor intense project. These two guys could not be anymore polite, considerate,competent or hardworking .I could not wait to give this review because of how fantastic the job is turning out! I know this final stage will be equally as efficient and professional. I have used GTL in the past with great pleasure. This time I had to get other bids due to the some pre paint work to be done. From now on I won't even bother with other bids. Sam, the lead painter is so competent and so professional.( some may even call him TYPE A when it comes to his painting! ) I can not believe the attention to all the cracks, gaps and dings they have given my cabinets. The finished product is so smooth from all sequential sanding. Alicia once again has made great effort to make this happen and on my time frame which had been ever changing due to coordination of services. Thank you to Tommie,Alicia, Steven and especially Sam. You guys are wonderful.

The guys were on time each day, and very friendly and professional. They got right to work, worked well together. They took pride in their work, and talked several times about the best way to go about finishing off the project to give the best clean lines, etc...

We called and got estimates for interior and exterior painting. They graciously agreed to cover some plumbing repairs as well. However, our schedules did not seem to match, so had to use a different provider.

Paul and Augustine were my heroes for the demolition day. Gosh what nice guys and so very competent. I loved having these two hard working gentlemen in my house. I felt so comfortable with them in my house that I left for a long walk with my grandson! This is one of many times I have used GTL Construction. I will use them again and again I am sure. TRUST is my key word for describing this company. I trust them to give a fair bid. I TRUST that their workers will do what has been agreed up on.I TRUST that they will stand by the work they do. I TRUST that they will clean up after themselves. I TRUST they will respect my home. A little secret?! I do not even get other bids anymore .No one can beat GTL! Thank you to the husband and wife team of Alicia and Tommie for helping me to keep my faith in humanity!! Thank you to Paul and Augustine as well.

Fantastic. We have used GTL many times in the past for our house and our rental house. They have done our base boards and window sills and now we used them to paint the exterior of the house. Not only did they beat all other companies by $100, but they do 2 coats of spray and 2 coats of backroll while the other companies only did each 1 time. I love using GTL and will always use them in the future for our house needs.

They did the job with much care. They were so professional. They gave me a price and stuck to the price, even when the work went longer than planned. It looks so much brighter and updated. They were great, as were the cabinets and the painter who did the cabinets. Tommy and Alicia Lewis were so nice and finished it beautifully. I get lots of compliments.

The trim and painting turned out very well. The painters did a very nice job as did the men that stained the faux beams. I gave them a wood floor sample and they matched the color for me. Carlos, the trim person was exceptional. I had someone advising me and Carlos worked very well with my decorator. Everyone showed up when I expected them and left the job site clean when they were through. Alicia answered any of my questions promptly. We had a little misunderstanding at first getting the bid but that was cleared up and I'm glad that in the end I chose to use GTL.

When service and service providers are this good it restores my confidence in people in general! I was thrilled with the job that Carlos, Juan, and Julio did . Such quietly hardworking gentlemen. But before they even got there I was able to get the bid from Tommy who came on time and was so helpful and courteous despite a busy day for him. The real gem,(glue) of this whole operation though is Alicia. She must just run that business well like a BUSINESS! She could teach a class on public relations!! I can tell her workers know, love, and respect her just from the comments they have made. This is the third time I have used this company. Once again they did not disappoint. a great big thank you to Alicia, Tommy, Carlos, Juan, and Julio! Just amazing guys.

Had contacted this company after seeing the discount online from Angie's list. After reading a number of positive Angie's list for this company, I decided to call them for an estimate. The gentleman who came by was very pleasant and professional. We talked about the job, the costs and the timeframe it would take to complete the job. He asked me if I had estimates from other companies and I informed him that we do have bids and described the estimates with him. Given that I was working with an owner I thought we can get a possible competitive offer (after revealing our bids). Unfortunately, this was not the case. I received a bid over 500 dollars more than the competition and 1-2 days slower in completing the job. In addition, one of the company I ended up using provides additional services for less money!

He doesn't waste a minute. The craftsmanship is overall important to me. When you can do your trade fast and maintain the quality then you're extremely effective. We're happy!

They did a wonderful job. The painting was done fast and efficiently. They cleaned up after themselves and left the job site as clean as when they arrived. Tommy and Alicia are very helpful and professional. They're bid was very competitive and we will be using them for other work around our house.

First I would like to start with saying that the actual work done by the work crew (Omar and Augustine) was great. Working with them was a pleasure. They were very good in their work and were very responsive to questions as well as minor fixes that needed to be addressed throughout the process. Very happy with the work crew. Unfortunately, not as happy with the office administration portion of the experience. Everything was going just fine up until the last day. On the last day we had a disagreement on an area of work that we believed was to be done as part of the interior painting, specifically painting of two railings that separate the kitchen from the family room and the formal dining from the living room. We asked the work crew when it was going to be completed and when they checked with the office they were told that this was not included in the contract. We followed up to try and clear up this issue, but the response was that they did not have it in their ?notes? so it was not included in the contract. That was an extremely disappointing statement as I know I had specifically called out two of the main posts that needed repainting, but again it was not in their ?notes?. So here was my mistake as I should have made sure it was specifically called out in the contract, but having discussed it with the estimator (Tommy) and since it was a painted portion of the interior I had presumed it was part of what would be painted as part of an ?interior paint? job. They assured us that the contract price did not include the railings. They did offer to do the railing for an additional fee which I thought was high for the small area they needed to do (the additional fee was equivalent to 8% of the total job). We declined their offer and I ended up painting the railings myself. Again, I want to emphasize that the work done by the work crew was done very well and I wish I could have them do more work for me, but unfortunately the management experience has soured us on reusing this company. My advice for others is if you decide to contract with this company ensure you have EVERY single detail you want covered written in the contract to avoid a situation like we ran into. Again the actual work crew did great work. I did not utilize this provider. I waited one week for an appointment. The provider arrived on time and took measurements. He said he was slow right now and would get back to me in 3 to 4 days. I received an estimate 10 days later. The bid was for Charleston Crown and the existing molding in my home is Cornice crown. One of the bathrooms was left off the bid.

This is a basic small 70's era Davis tract home. GTL replaced the baseboards, installed new door trim on 7 interior doors, patched ceiling and wall cracks, and painted the ceiling and walls of the dining/family room, living room and halls. They completed all work in 3 days and did a great job. It took a few days to hear back from my initial contacts with GTL and with subsequent contacts, but in the end they had the best of 3 bids for the work and completed the job to my satisfaction,

GTL did a great job fixing the painting errors done by the contractors of my newly built home! They came in and made everything look custom and detailed! Very pleased with the crown molding and base shoe around baseboards as it really makes the interior look finished! The whole team was very friendly, punctual and great at communicating! The whole team wanted to make sure I was happy every step of the way! Thank you GTL....you came in on quick notice and really made my home look beautiful!

I wanted to have crown molding installed and my ceilings painted white since it was all the same color tan. Tommy came out to my home. He was very efficient and was able to answer my questions and give suggestions in places I was inquiring. He was very professional and not pushy or "salesman like". Alicia, his wife, was my contact over the phone and email. She was very nice and quick to respond with all my emails and crazy questions I had. She sent me a quote and I was happy with the price. We scheduled the work to be done, and to my surprise, they were able to push up the date and get it done sooner! Tommy came over that morning and waited for the guys to get there so he could tell them what the job was. They were on time and got right to work. We left for the day and when we got back the ceilings were painted and the molding was up and WOW! It looked AMAZING already! The next 2 days they came back to fill in the holes, paint, and perfect their work. My neighbors were right, It was perfect! Also, it totally changed the feeling of my home. it outlined each room, removing the "box feel" making it feel more homey and a lot nicer. My husband and I just loved to leave and come home so we could feel the wow factor all over again! I originally had GTL quote only the downstairs and loft area, but it looked so good, and was such great experience, I am having them come back to finish the house! I would highly recommend GTL for painting and crown molding. They were a pleasure to work with. and did a great job from beginning to end.

Tommy was excellent. It was not a straight forward baseboard install easy-sneezy job. We had different elevations in the floor area and one large transition of wood floor that was 1/2 inch lower than marble flooring. Tommy delivered to the highest expectations with great workmanship to minimize the visual differences. GREAT JOB!!! Great painter Oscar and Tommy's wife Alicia is very gracious and respondent. Plan to use GTL again! Tommy is HONEST, punctual and feels like a friend.

As do-it-yourselfers, we had reservations about hiring a provider to complete our finish work. After many months of procrastination we finally decided to get a few quotes. We decided go with GTL Construction Inc. and we are SO HAPPY we did. I can't believe we waited so long. If only we knew earlier how easy GTL would make it for us. This is honestly the most pleasant experience we have had with a provider. We had a desired timeline...they made it happen. We had very unique and challenging circumstances... they worked with us. We had change orders...they accommodated with no problem. They listened to our needs, asked questions all along the way to insure our satisfaction, were on time, respectful and considerate of our family and our home. We came in under budget and are grateful for the experience and our decision to hire a professional rather than doing it ourselves. After a long, challenging house build it was truly refreshing to find a company that provides quality work and exceptional customer service to help us complete it.

When I called for an estimate, Tommy came and he was a great help in offering design options. I knew the "look" we wanted and had some already picked out samples. Tommy explained the pros and cons of what I selected and gave suggestions materials and designs may be better for us and why. Carlos did the install and he was quick and efficient. He asked questions throughout the day to ensure the install and look was what we desired. We can't be any happier with the outcome. To help our budget, Tommy gave us a few different options. Thanks GTL Construction for working with us and your patience!

The owner was Very responsive with her bid, fastest turn around time; she was kind and helpful. We asked for the impossible to be done and she made it happen. So 5 days before thanksgiving they would have all the crown molding/painted banister/bathroom and kitchen done. She met and exceeded our expectations. Her crew was here early every morning ready to go not once were they late. They were hard working/and great to work with. We loved how everything turned out and they made it so smooth and easy through the whole process. We would definitely use them again...I love my new house!!!

GTL is an excellent choice for interior/exterior painting, kitchen remodels, cabinet painting and drywall! Their team is talented, professional and a pleasure to work with...I highly recommend them. They are so responsive and answered a billion email questions and phone calls. They were always on time, stuck to their schedule and have great skill! I'm so happy with them and am in love with my home, which was old and worn out when I bought it. It now looks like a custom home, thanks to GTL Construction.

Estimate analysis was excellent. Price was too high for what I wanted. However I was so impressed with them I wanted Angie's list to reflect that.

I was updating the bedrooms, bathrooms, and hall in my 1950 Ranch. Carpet and old wall boards where removed, and the hard wood floors refinished (by Davis Floors). GTL then came and installed the new wall board and painted all the walls. New bi fold doors were installed on closets that did not have doors before. The doors match the others I had installed back in 2005 by a company no longer in the area. I also wanted the electric plugs, switches, and recessed lights upgraded. Tommy from GTL recommended Electric 2 U - Kevin Floyd. He did the work in one day (and did not leave a mess!). Tommy also recommended Newcastle Door and Trim and the doors are great. The Blind Spot did the shutters - again from Tommy and I love the shutters. Not only did GTL do a great job, everyone they sent me to where great. Finding GTL on Angie's list made this whole project go smooth. After the new year, I'll bringing them all back to do the rest of my house.

We wanted to let everyone know how happy we are with our freshly painted home! Your entire crew, led by Sam and Steve arrived each day on the agreed time and were always courteous and friendly. Since we were home during the day with our boxer dog , we really appreciated not only the friendliness of the crew but the fact that they went out of their way to coordinate the paint schedule so the process would be as convenient as possible. And, best of all, the job was completed on time! We also appreciate the clean up that was performed not only at the end of the job but at the end of each workday. GREAT JOB!

This is our second project with GTL Construction. I always enjoy how easy it is to communicate with Alicia and Tommy and their crew. The crew was punctual and worked efficiently. Our project was to Paint the Exterior of our 2 story home. Our home has architectural details of a vaulted front entry, 2 fireplaces, a column, pop out details around the front of the home and around the windows and a balcony. The project entailed a lot of prep work since some of our stucco needed repair and we had ivy feet marks on one wall and weeping fig feet marks all over another area of the home. The crew was also very careful to cover over our new fence, new roof, and the concrete walkways so that they would not have any over spray paint drift onto them. I like that they spray and backroll the home with 2 coats of velvet paint with Ultra Premium Dunn Edwards paint. The garage roll up door is sprayed with 2 coats of velvet paint. The coverage is great, we do not see the feet imprints from the ivy or weeping fig plants which was a concern for us, since the plants had left marks everywhere they grew. We are very happy with our exterior paint project. It looks and feels like a new home. Looking forward to our next project with GTL Construction.
