1) They were VERY prompt in contacting me - Kori 2) they initially sent out a sales person (Brian?) who confirmed that what I wanted to do was covered by the big deal and did initial measurements 3) Ken & _______came out and re-measured. 4) Roger called and scheduled an appointment that I needed to re-schedule later due to a funeral (VERY accommodating!) 5) Tony & Anthony came and installed the windows and noticed (which I didn't) 3 bent screens. 6) Roger brought out the replacement screens and installed them. I believe I met everyone except Kori and I spoke to her several times. Each and every representative of Good News Home Improvements was Professional, Friendly and VERY helpful.

The provider came by and looked at the job and wrote up an estimate. One week later the owner measured the openings and added the costs of new outside window trim to replace the old. The windows arrived about 3 weeks later. The two man installation crew were very professional and friendly. They arrived promptly. Installation took from 8am-about 4pm. Everything went smoothly and I love my new windows.

They were excellent. The installer was great and completed all of the work in one day. I would use them again.

Fabulously! On February 25th, my sliding back door broke and I could not close it. It was very old and I had to replace it. I called Good News Home Improvement and Brian came out to my house within one hour . He measured the door and showed me several pictures of doors. I chose the one that I wanted and we signed a contract for a new door. I indicated that time was of the essence. He said that he could get it by March 10th and that he would try to get it sooner if possible. I was very pleased with Brian's presentation. He was polite and did not try to strong-arm me. It was a pleasant experience. On March 3rd, I received a phone call indicating that the door would be here on March 5th, so I made an appointment to have the door installed on March 6th at 8 AM. Today, March 6th, Zack arrived at 7:45 and began work. He was terrific! He removed the old door and replaced it with a beautiful door. Zack was professional, polite and did not waste time. In about three hours he installed the door and polished the glass. He explained the new lock on the door and he cleaned up the area. It was a happy experience. I highly recommend this company and its very professional workers. I AM A HAPPY CAMPER!!!

They were excellent. This was the first time we have used them. They were punctual and cleaned up very well. They made good on everything that they said they were going to do. They were able to finish the job with 3 days, that was very important.We had 20 ft ceilings windows in our home, they were were arched windows too. They were able to manage to get to an attic window as well. It was not a typical easy job, but they did very well.

The contractor representative was knowledgeable, fully informed about the process, materials to be used, answered all of our questions, and made very good recommendations as to the materials and methods which improved the end product. We were scheduled for work about two weeks following the estimate, during which we changed the lap siding initially chosen. This required a change order and marginally increased the material's cost. Fortunately, we made this change well before the work began as the change order cost would have increased much more had the original siding been acquired. The contractor manager visited the site about one week before work started, checked if we had any further concerns and advised when the work would begin. The crew arrived as scheduled, the work went smoothly, the crew kept us informed at all times as to what they would be doing and possible effects on our comfort or schedule. The underlayment problem was an unforeseen site condition, very carefully shown and explained, estimated and done with a little delay in job completion. The work and results were very well done. The windows installations were excellent, no problems whatsoever. In short, a job well done with minimal inconvenience to us and a very pleasant experience..

Good News Home Improvement was a pleasure to work with from my consultation appointment to the final installation. The consultation was informative and left no questions unanswered. I explained that I wanted to use french doors that I had previously purchased for a job that was not completed. I also wanted to have an additional window installed in the living room. The consultant previewed the work to be done and gave me a fair quote. The owner came and measured the windows to be upgraded, the placement of the new window as well as the installation of the french doors. The installation was originally planned for two days because of the addition of a new window. To my surprise and delight all work was completed in one day. They trimmed the new window to match the existing trim on the outside. My neighbors and family have commented on how nice the windows looks and brighten the house. The new french doors add a touch of elegance that I wanted and the additional window in the living room helps brighten a dark room. The noise level has been reduced in my house and I am extremely happy.

These guys are extremely professional, fairly priced and prompt. They were also very nice. One of the best experiences We've ever had with a contractor. I recommend this company highly.

Everything went better than I expected and sooner than I expected. Totally pleased with the results.

Setting the appointment for an estimate went quickly. Rod was timely and professional in providing a verbal estimate. According to him it would take less than a day, and about 3-4 sheets of 8x4 siding plus a little trim and flashing for $1600. I checked and the siding costs about $33 per sheet, and the additional products for a few dollars more. Deducting material cost from the $1600 estimate suggests I was being charged over $100+ per hour labor for an 8-hour day. Wwaaaayyy toooo expensive for me.

They were wonderful. They did a beautiful job. They repaired sidings on my whole house. They repaired any dry rot issues I had. They also helped bring the construction up to code. They did a beautiful job. I have the prettiest house on the street now. They finished up with me around the tenth of September.

Mostly went ok. Had few issues that they resolved. The bottom half I loved...I was present. The upper half done by another crew & I was not present & they nailed very differently, which I did not like. They were very nice.

The salesman, Rod, was prompt, professional and explained everything. He helped me figure out how much work I could get done for the budget I had to work with. As I do need more window replacements to be done in the future. The installers arrived on time and the installation was problem free. I will use them again when I have more window replacements done in the future.

Could not have gone better. Their crew is very professional, on time and doesn't waste time. They are very willing to please the customer. This day and age, a company like this is hard to find. We would recommend them very highly in fact we have hired them to do more work at my Mothers home.

The salesman (Ed) was very helpful friendly and professional. We spoke for a while and then he offerred an alternative solution rather than replace windows. Simply replce the glass with new insulated glass that is Low E3 rated and use "Super Spacers". His company does not do this kind of work but he referenced several other companies that do. This alternative would be much cheaper and meet my needs. WOW, what a refreshing attitude. I was truly amazed. You rarely find companies that recommed an alternative their competitors provide based on meeting the customers needs. If I ever need new windows or other services they provide I will definitely use Good News Home Improvements.

Ed, the owner, gave me a presentation of the Amerimax product, and after my own research, I agreed it was an excellent choice. After a thorough review of my windows and siding, he worked within my budget to come up with a price we could both work with, good time of installation around my schedule and promise of great service. He delivered on all of it. Roger was the project manager who coordinated the installers, Tony, Zack, Kendall and TJ, who managed to tear everything out and take it away the first day and have me buttoned up at the end of day for security overnight until Tony and Zack returned the following day to complete the detail work and final finishes on the project. The installers were as neat and clean as one could ever ask for, covering all the traffic areas with tarps, sweeping up all the debris outside and vacuuming inside constantly and before they left for the day. They answered all my questions and concerns throughout the project. I live in a small condominium community and Good News had big trucks which made access for some of my neighbors difficult. They accommodated all of them without issues, and my neighbors reported to me how great these contractors were about that. I did a ton of research before choosing Amerifax and this contractor for my project, and I couldn't be happier. The windows and doors are beautiful and I can't wait for my new Danmer shutters to make this 30+ year old home look fresh and energy efficient.

I really liked the fact that they came right in, and made the windows look professional. They took their time, they gave me a good price, they were going to give me a high price, but I had my own windows.They came right on time. They actually told me what was done right and what was not done properly in my house, and they told me what I needed to do.

Good News was a pleasure to work with every step of the way. They are professional, are always on time, great pricing, knowledgeable, and very good at what they do. They work quickly, take care of everything and go above and beyond. I had 27 windows and 2 doors to install and they were all done well. One of the windows broke after installation for some reason and the company quickly ordered a new one and installed it a few days later for no charge. I highly recommend them and the product (Amerimax) is great. Their stucco subcontractor also did a fantastic job.

They did a great job. We are very pleased with the finished job. Ed Holiday came and was very thorough in his recommendations. I also appreciated that he was very concerned with my budget and wanted to do the best for me and keep the job with in my budget. Once the work began his Forman Anthony saw that more of the siding needed replacing then we originally expected. I was thankful for his advisement and they were more than reasonable in the new estimation of cost. Unfortunately it was well over 100 degrees when the work was taking place and I was concerned that the men would be pushing themselves too hard but they did a great job. We had a few minor touchups that needed addressing after they left and they were extremely responsive and came right back out to make us happy. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and I will be keeping their number for work on my place in the future.

Ed the owner provided estimates on windows replacement and siding replacement. I decided to replace the windows and delay siding replacement for a few years. Ed did a great job of explaining the product and what the work would entail. Roger sent me pre-installation instructions 4 days before the job start. The crew was very punctual, hard working, and professional and followed through on all open action items. For example, Tony noticed that the locking mechanism on my new patio slider is a little difficult to engage so he contacted the manufacturer and the manufacturer has already scheduled an appointment to check the lock. During installation the crew covered the furniture in the affected areas and cleaned up the site inside and out after installation. From start to finish Good News Home Improvements does a great job and provides excellent customer service!

This company was great to work with. Ed came out and measured the windows, showed me what they had to offer and did the order. The installers came out to install the windows. The crew was great to work with. They cleaned up when the job was done. They took time to protect the interior from the plaster dust due to the wallboard work. One guy stepped on a nail getting off the ladder and Roger sent out another worker the next day. The job was taking a little longer than anticipated due to some issues with sizing on one window. They needed to come out on Sunday to finish the job. I was ok with that. I love the new windows. I will be contacting them in the future to have more windows replaced.
