Description of Work: Great service with a comprehensive check up on our gas furnace. The tech really |took his time to cover each part of the furnace. We were very pleased with his |work and the information that we were given about our furnace.

Description of Work: I bought a $39 and a $29 tune-up as we recently purchased a home with 2 heating units that are older. I also received a $50 gift card from them and used it to have Cory repair a insulation line--honestly my husband could have done it, but Cory was SO extremely helpful and spent a couple of hours (like 3!) which included showing me a air cleaner unit in the attic and how it worked and how to take it apart to clean the filters. I wanted to give them the business. I will use them again and may go on their maintenance plan seeing as how our units are old and in my last home if I had kept up on it, I would have save myself $800 in SMUD bills when my heat pump went bad and I didn't know for 3 months. I just thought it was due to cold weather and being an old unit.

Nowhere in the description of this "deal" on Angie's List did it state that this "deal" was not applicable to mobile homes. My first contact from this company via email contained a lack of attention to detail -- my last name was misspelled. When they did call to set an appointment, Andie left a professional voice mail. When I called back later and in discussion of my need for a furnace check-up, I was told they did not service mobile home units. Valuable time and effort was wasted in this process, and avoidance of such could have occurred if there was precise description of the "deal."

Description of Work: Cory was thorough and thoughtful in his service making sure he explained that he did and making some suggestions for the future of one of my older systems. Very impressed.

Description of Work: They installed our new HVAC system in 2011 after being ripped off by our provider who installed the original unit when the house was built. I was at a loss when I came home to find the original installer purposely shorted out the A/C condenser, I believe, to force us into installing a whole new unit. If this wasn't done on purpose, that company had incredibly unprofessional staff. On a whim, I looked to Google and found Environmental Heating & Air Solutions was just down the street from where I worked and looked like they had a pretty good online reputation. Since it was July in Sacramento *HOT* I had to make a decision quickly. Matt came out that day and did determine that some monkey business had been going on with the previous service provider. We did sign a contract to have a COMPLETELY new HVAC system installed and we are SO gateful for it. They were absolutely top-notch professional and engineered a new system that has our home heating and cooling MUCH more efficiently and quickly. I have since gone on to sign a contract for EHAS to maintain our commercial systems at my office. I am so happy to include EHAS in my Rolodex of highly qualified service personnel.
