Personable, yet professional, from start to finish. This was a pushback against all the nightmare stories some of us have had the misfortune to experience with the building trades. The technicians arrived on time, each having many years of installation experience. My home is my castle, and the respect for it was evident. The technicians wore booties and used drop cloths to cover areas from the entrance point to the attic where they were working. "Leave it as you found it," including vacuuming, was just another gold star for these guys. Obviously the owner, Matt Evans, has very high standards for his employees wearing Environmental Heating and Air Conditioning shirts. In summary, you as their client do nothing. All permits, fees, and inspection/certificates of field verification and diagnostic testing to insure there are no bugs in the system were provided by Environmental Heating and Air Conditioning, and the price was right. Can't imagine a more positive experience than the one I had with Environmental Heating and Air Conditioning.

The AC inspection went well. Cory was friendly and knowledgable.

The gentleman who did the inspection was very professional and friendly. He was very knowledgeable about the furnace system and did a thorough inspection and maintenance service. I was very pleased that he determined that, with regular maintenance, our system would serve us for several more years.

They were great! The gentleman they sent was informative in laments terms. I would have him back in a heartbeat.

The service technician arrived on time, and explained what he would be doing and even inspected the ducts at the registers and said they were clean and didn't require another service for a couple of years. Since I couldn't access our attic space where the furnace is located, I can't say how well the work was performed except, the furnace still comes on, and it seems to be running more efficiently. The technician did say that the furnace was relatively clean but he did a thorough vacuuming and had pictures of before and after he serviced the furnace to show me. We will definitely be in contact with this HVAC company when its time for our AC tune-up this Spring.

Kevin the installer was on time. The job was completed professionally. Kevin was very responsive and immediately resolved a minor hiccup.

They were prompt and professional. I had a problem with my dampers not working. Turns out one was disconnected. They reconnected it for no charge. I also had my ducts cleaned. They were honest and I appreciated it. They were able to get me an appointment same day! Thanks!

Kevin came out on time and was very pleasant, professional and explained and showed me dirt in my ductwork with a camera. He finished the job quickly an was very neat and cleaned up everything. Prior to Kevin's visit I had been having issues with allergies for some time. Since our service my allergies have improved and I have noticed we have a lot less dust around the house. I will definately be using them again for future service and after seeing the benefits of a simple duct cleaning I see how important it is to keep up on that maitenance. I definately recommend.

They did a god job. They're very knowledgeable service people and the work turned out OK. They came out to do the work in December and we spent about $600 in total.

The Big Deal worked great. It was very positive; he was very professional, did a good job, and gave me a lot of information. The price was great; there was no additional fee.

I suppose it went fine. He was up there for a bit and said everything looked good. Since it was just a checkup I'm not too clear on the quality of service, but the technician was punctual and professional. Also when purchasing the big deal it was less expensive then most other options.

Technician was right one time. He was very professional and did a very conscientious work, which included cleaning the furnace and checking on the heat exchanger.

When I had an emergency on the weekend, they answered their phones. The lady in the office was so nice and helpful. They were able to come out and even came out a couple hours earlier than expected. The gentleman who came out described everything he was doing which is always good to explain what you are doing and why. The work was fine.

My A/C quit working on the hottest day of the year (Sat 6/8/13 at 108degree) during a large party at my house. I called the company that I currently have a "Home Service Plan" with (on Saturday), and they couldn't come out until Monday at 3pm-7pm. I got onto Angies List and found Evironmental Heating and Air (great reviews and high score). I called them on Sunday morning and they came out on Sunday at 4pm. Sergio arrive earlier than expected (Yahoooo) jumped right in and found the problem IMMEDIATLY. Sergio replaced the part, reset the system and was gone in an hour or so. I thought I was going to be charge at an inflated service charge since it was Sunday, but that was NOT the case. The company was very responsive and fixed the problem honestly!!! Sergio didn't try to sell me on parts that were not needed, or invent "issues" that were not wrong with the A/C unit. Sergio's honesty, punctuality and service is to be commended. Thanks Environmental you were a life saver!

It went amazing! Our AC went out this afternoon (one of the hottest days of the year, of course!). I jumped on Angie's list and found Environmental Heating and Air. The reviews seemed good, so I gave them a call. I have to tell you--I was nervous. The AC unit is 15 years old, and I thought it was toast. The house was heating up, and tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter. The lady who answered the phone could not have been nicer, and offered to have a tech come out the same evening, even though he was finishing a call in Rancho Cordova. Amazing! Sergio showed up, and he was completely cool, and very helpful. He diagnosed the problem in about 30 seconds, and had the part on his truck. An hour later, the house was cool as a cucumber. He explained everything he was doing, didn't mind any questions I asked, and explained why maintenance is a good thing. I ended up purchasing a month-to-month maintenance package so I can get a few more years out of the unit before i replace it. Seriously, if you need any HVAC service, give these guys a shot--super service all the way around.

Instead of trying to confuse, obfuscate, exaggerate what was wrong, they made it easy to understand and gave us options.

Ended up having him do an complete inspection of the heating system, and signed a yearly maintenance contract.

It was fine. They are a good heating and air company.
