Just fine. He checked the components of the heating unit that support the air conditioning unit, checked air cond unit and balanced the freon. We asked him about the age and quality of our unit and recommendations about longevity and options for future. He cleared area around outside unit to guarantee air flow.

Environmental Heating and Air Solutions sent out an Excellent Technician by the name of Richard. He was very professional, knowledgeable, polite, and spot on time! He did a complete inspection and cleaning of my dual heating units, along with some minor suggestions of things for me to look out for in the future. Had been putting off the annual systems check on our heating and air conditioning system for several months. So when I saw the coupon on Angie's list I bought it online @ 8/26/2014. Murphy's law kicked in and my son had left his window open early the day before and the A/C system ran all day/night and the system shut down the morning. When Environmental Heating & Air Solutions called to make the appointment, I told them the A/C was not working. They changed the appointment & coupon into a service call. The service technician showed as scheduled and on time. Investigation found that it was a failed dual capacitor and was quoted $252 to replace and that if I bought an A/C system from them they would give me a $252 discount. Since temperatures were expected to get up to 95-100 degrees, I told him to go ahead and replace it. I had him give me an estimate replace the system to use as a comparison. Total time for the service call was about 20 minutes. Did some checking and found that the capacitor ranged in cost from between $25 and $60. Don't think I will ever use them again since their labor rate comes out to about $1000 an hour.

The job went smoothly and professionally. Matt worked with me to get the best quality for the price, and handled the rebate applications for me as well, which I appreciated. The installers arrived promptly and handled everything that came up. The job was finished in two days and everything was working. They cleaned up all the old stuff and had it hauled away immediately at the end of the day. The required HERS inspection occurred the following Monday and everything went well. The city inspector signed off on the building permit on Wednesday. I am very happy with the quality of service provided and I would definitely recommend this company for HVAC work or replacement.

I was thoroughly impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of the technician. He spent a great deal of time explaining to me the intricacies of HVAC systems, what can go wrong and most importantly - how to avoid future issues. As it turns out, there's nothing wrong with my system! The vibrating and noises it is making is typical of the "lower quality" system that was installed by the previous owner. He did suggest a good cleaning of the blower motor and could tell that the system had been neglected by the previous tenants (they were renters). $30 for the piece of mind and knowledge was a steal. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I'm also going to have them come back and do some preventative service on the AC unit in the spring.

He was very prompt it took about a half an hour and he made some recommendations that I will look into in the future I'm very courteous will definitely hire him again if I need you cared services with my unit.still waiting for my $50 gift card though

The heating system had shut off and was not working. I was freezing. He discovered that the previous technician from another company had taped the emergency shut off in the open position and ad not closed the door to the system. When the tape fell off in the cold, the system shut off. So this technician diagnosed the minor problem, closed the main door an insured that the emergency shut off was working properly.

It went very smooth and the final cost was very reasonable.

check out our heater and found a broken switch. told us the cost of the repair prior to changing it. We said ok and the work was done perfectly.

Our house is 4000 sq ft. We had problems with one area of the house being cold and others too hot so we purchased a high-efficiency HVAC system that allows us to cut the house into 4 zones. It also works with our solar panels. We funded the project through the Mpower program of Placer county. We are very pleased with the result. They just came back to do an inspection on the system. Our gas bills have been much less and our house is very comfortable. Each zone can set their own temperature. | |I would utilize them again. The team was very professional. They did a great job of installing both the air conditioner, redoing ductwork, installing the furnace and cleaning up. Because of the new rules for air tightness and air leakage, a third party has to sign off on the work. We passed with flying colors. They did a great job.

A/C tune up was OK, there was nothing wrong with the unit, the service person tried to sell me a new capacitor which turned out to be still good. The drain pan was full of water so he checked it out, called the headquarters and quoted me $140 to fix it. When I agreed, he removed a piece of wood clogging the pipe outside and that was it, less than a minute. I think a true service oriented person would just have told me what to do to unclog it, and not take advantage of the situation to make an easy money. I would not use them again.

It was good. They came on time and he checked everything that needed to be done on the furnace and requested that we needed to replace the filter. So far so good. He said that everything is working fine.

The technician does not know how to turn on my furnace. He told me my furnace is not working and ask for additional money for diagnostic.

I purchased a deal in January 2014 for a Furnace tune up. The deal was good through July 17, 2014. I became seriously ill and was not able to redeem my tune-up until June, at which time I called to set up an appointment. Brandi suggested that the company would extend the deal and wrote me an email confirming the extension and the email stated the company would contact me in October/November to schedule the appointment. I did not receive a call from EHA and called and scheduled an appointment for November 25, 2014. I did not receive a follow up call on the day of the appointment so I took initiative to call and confirm the arrival time of 3-5 p.m. I advised staff that I had taken time off for the appointment and wanted to ensure that they would be coming. The time was confirmed. I received a call from EHA at 4:54 p.m. informing me that the technician was finishing up and would be on their way. I cancelled knowing he would arrive late and in the dark. At the time of cancellation I requested a refund and that the owner call me. He has yet to do so.

The tech arrived on time very friendly and professional, completed the work promptly would use again.

My tenant said they were on time and professional. I called him 2 days after the work was done & at first, he said he never remembered servicing the address. He also said that it should be my job to follow up with him once the work is done. I also waited a week for the paper work.

The sales representative was nice, professional and not aggressive. The technicians who installed the units did great work. We had them out for a follow up appointment because a part broke during the middle of a heat wave. I was happy with the service overall.
