Came on time and was very professional. Told me I shoul consider getting a new AC, explained why, but told me I should make it through the summer.

The provider didn't come for the first appointment and was late for the second, third was on time

Tech arrived on time and spent extra time trying to figure out dual zone system that he thought had 2 compressors. He even tried calling manufacturer and another experienced tech with no answer. Had AC company that installed system come out and the unit only has one compressor. That is only reason for B grade since i had to have another company come out. "A" for everything elso

We were impressed by the lack of sales pressure and firm costs. No game playing. While the expense was painful, we feel we got a fair deal and expert installation. If you do your homework, you know that installation expertise is absolutely essential. You'll regret cutting corners. Everyone was friendly and responsive.

Overall a very professional company to deal with. Receptionist at office was friendly and easy to work with. Technician, Cory, was on time, and very knowledgeable. We had long suspected that our air conditioning system may have been improperly installed and Cory confirmed that fact and carefully explained the details we needed to decide what our next step/s may be. Only complaint was that the charge for clearing out our plugged condensation overflow seemed a bit excessive for a service that took very little time to perform. However, we were Ok paying to get the problem resolved immediately and would not hesitate to call this company again if we need additional servicing or decide to get quotes for a new system.

They showed up on time, did a great job for the advertised price, and the AC ran great all summer throughout many a 100 degree day. Will definately use them again.

He was on time and knowledgable. He was here for a good hour so appeared to be thorough. I don't think any Freon was added although it was part of the deal as he did not mention it. I guess it was not needed. Said he was unable to give me more information due to the fact it had been repaired previously by someone else and I could not produce the paperwork but it appeared ok for time being.

it went well, although it was pricey. They tried to sell me the whole new vent system (cost $10k), while i needed only a $1200 vent fan. I did not appreciate their insistence on getting a new system. It was like I needed to fix a flat tire, and they kept trying me to sell the whole car.

I called Environmental Heating and Air Solutions because of the ratings on Angie?s List. Richard came out and I explained that every year I had to get the system recharged for summer time since buying the house in 2013. He explained that since there was a slow leak that he could not recharge the system until the leak was fixed (kind of expensive) and that because it was a slow leak it may be a while until they could find it. He recommended that maybe it was time to replace the system as it was 18 years old. Kevin came out five days later and he took the time to explain the three different classes of the air conditioner systems they offered and all of the rebates offered for each. We decided on the middle class system. It had a nice rebate from SMUD and another rebate from Costco. Six days later Kevin and Noel showed up at the exact time Kevin promised ready to work. They promptly removed the old HVAC system and had the new one in place in no time. Kevin and Noel took the time to answer questions I had along the way and were extremely knowledgeable and professional at all times. By two o?clock I was feeling cold air coming out of the vents. Amber and Brandi were also extremely helpful with my questions about the permit. I would highly recommend Environmental Heating and Air Solutions to anyone who is considering replacing their HVAC system.

Prior to arrival I received at least 2-3 phone calls confirming appt. and letting me know who was coming and what time to expect him. This is huge in my book! Richard was the technician and he was very professional and extremely knowledgable. Explained everything he was doing and checking. Asked several times if I had any questions and made sure I understood the whole process. Didn't try to sell me things I didn't need and was honest about what my specific needs were and how to best proceed. I am very happy with the work that was done and I will turn to them in the future. My system is over 10-12 yrs old and next year I plan on investing in a new system, but with the work that was done yesterday I feel confident that I will get through the summer with no problems.

I own seven properties and for years have used Clark and Rush Mechanical for all my HVAC needs. Based on an Angies List deal, I decided to give another contractor, Environmental Heating and Air Solutions, a try. My very positive experience with this firm was in large part because of the knowledge and professionalism of the Technician - Cory. I'm considering moving my business over to Environmental Heating and Air Solutions entirely, pending a successful install scheduled for 5-13-15 .

Appointment was for somewhere between 10am-12pm. Got a call from the main office at 9:45am stating that technician would be at my home in 25 minutes. I texted the wife (who was at home because I'm working) and sure enough, Richard was there exactly as promised (10:10am). Got to work and did an amazing job. We were definitely low on refrigerant, so per the Angie's deal, he added enough to get us back to the correct levels. Did a thorough inspection, including getting up in our attic above the second story master bedroom. Found found a couple of potential items I might want to address in the future, but said they weren't imminent and was cool about it all; not trying to push or sells us anything. He left a report of everything he did and the recommendations with costs associated. Would definitely use Environmental Heating and Air Solutions again!

Working with Environmental Heating & Air Solutions was a very positive experience. Richard performed the diagnostics and did an excellent and thorough job. He provided very detailed information regarding the issues with the current HVAC unit. The current system was over 25 years old and on it's last leg. I worked with Matt, the owner, to discuss options for a new HVAC system. Matt provided great information and I never felt pressured to buy a system, or to buy a more expensive system than I needed. Kevin and Matt (not the owner, but both installers) did an amazing job with the installation. The kept us up-to-date with their progress, what they found, informed us about next steps, etc. For example, they checked all the registers (vents) and discovered a piece of insulation had fallen in the attic and was totally blocking two air vents. They cleared the vents so the airflow to all rooms were working as they should be. Last but not least, the office staff, Amber and Brandi, were also great to work with. Positive attitudes and very helpful. I would highly recommend Environmental Heating & Air Solutions to anyone wanting a professional experience.

Based on the assessment we had them replace a single-run capacitor putting the other 2 less serious issues on my "do next" list. The technician was knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and was kind to my dogs. Definitely not a high pressure sales person who uses the "if you don't replace now" tactics. Liked him so much we signed up for their maintenance package. This is a very professional and honest company. I would recommend them to anyone who needs work done but is afraid of getting an untrustworthy character who is interested only in collecting your money showing up at their home.

Since my system has not been serviced for a few years I decided to call as I wanted to make sure everything was working okay before the hot weather came. They responded quickly and an appointment date was set up. Richard arrived in between the time specified and went right to work on outside unit and inside too. For an ac/heater combination that was 14 years old he remarked it was in good condition. Everything was checked out and I would not hesitate to hire them again for either repairs if needed or for my next maintenance check.

Very thorough inspection and service of unit inside and outside unit. Gave very detailed findings and options. This is the most honest air conditioner service company I've had. Would definitely use them again.

Richard was very professional, willing to show me what he was doing and to share information on how the system works, what was going right with my unit and what was beginning to show wear. The only reason I rated the Quality as a B is because only time will tell if it was a good job. It's too cold to turn on the A/C at the moment, but I felt he provided his best service.

I have an old, 28 year A/C unit, that is well past its prime. We know it will need replacing and are just trying to keep it running for now.

It was very good. They put in a new unit so they'll be coming in periodically to do check ups to make sure it's okay. They worked with me very well. They gave me an excellent price. They're very respectful. They weren't demeaning in any way or condescending. I just really like their product a lot and I like the guy that I was working with and I'm gonna be sticking with them.
