It was okay. He charged me more for the part that he replaced. It was $150. They weren't willing to come on a weekend. They would stick to the normal hours because it was stated in the deal. I had to be at home when they were servicing. I asked them to charge me extra if they could come out in the weekend because I didn't want to stay off from work. They weren't able to come on a Saturday. He didn't check the AC fan which had noise outside in the machine. I had to call someone else to take a look at it. There were no problems with the part that he replaced in my unit.

Our HVAC system, after 26 years, finally died. We checked out a number of providers on Angie's list, read all of the reviews, and decided to use Environmental Heating & Air. Over a period of two days, the old system was removed and the new system was installed. All of the ducting had to be replaced. When we contaced Environmental Heating & Air we received a timely response in scheduling the work. This was particularly important because the termperature this summer has been in the 90's & 100's. The service personnel (Kevin & Mike) were true professionals. They made sure everything was operating properly and showed us how to use the various features of the new system. They took special care so that the there was no mess left behind and that our furniture, carpets, and hardwood floor were not distrubed. Brandii, in the office was also very responsive, pleasant, and helpful. She was definitely proactive, as were Kevin and Mike, to make sure that the work was quality and that we were not inconvenienced.

When my aged heating and A/C system failed in the midst of a string of triple-digit days, I knew it was unlikely to be as simple as a repair job. I spent some time researching, reading reviews, and comparing companies, before calling in Environmental Heating and Air Solutions. Matthew, who came to assess the situation and give me a bid on the work, was professional and thorough, communicated clearly, and helped me to make the most logical, energy-efficient, and economical decision for me and my home. Talking with him, I felt confident that I had made the right choice, and this was only reinforced when the team of installers arrived to do the work. Matt, Mike, and Kevin did a great job. They were here to begin work by 8 AM, and by 3:30 PM the job was completed, an entire new Lennox furnace and air conditioning system was installed and working beautifully, I had been instructed in its operation, and they were on their way. Within an hour the debris of the old system had been picked up and removed by their subcontractor. Shortly thereafter a representative from Archon Energy Solutions, another EHAS subcontractor, appeared to perform the H.E.R.S. inspection. By the end of the day the entire procedure of installation, clean-up, and inspection was complete. All that remained was for me to call and set up an appointment with the City inspector to look over the work and confirm that everything was in accordance with the building permit as issued. After receiving the City inspector?s approval a few days later, Environmental Heating and Air Solutions lost no time in applying for the applicable rebates and notifying me that this had been done. In all cases I have found EHAS employees delightful people to do business with, as well as highly skilled and effective. Every interaction, whether in person or by phone, has been positive, and indicative of a trained and competent staff. I recommend the company to anyone looking for trustworthy, efficient service for repair or replacement of their heating and air conditioning system.

kirk edens was the technician and he arrived on time and was courteous and professional. he explained everything he did and he inspected my duct work and told me I had the best there was. he recommended a "compressor saver" and explained why I should install it - I agreed.

They did a wonderful job they are excellent.

We have two units and he said he could only do one even though the contract said with single family houses they would cover the whole thing. So I wasn't a hundred percent satisfied. He said he's only supposed to do one per visit, I'd have to schedule another visit. He said you can't use it more than once, the same 59 dollars. He just said that in the second inspection in 3 or 4 months, the guy could maybe look at the other one at that time.

Great job, very professional. I down graded punctuality to a B because they arrived early and then left because I was not there yet ( I had to leave work early to make that appointment and told the scheduler specifically that I could not be there before 2 pm. I had to call and have the technician return to the house (apparently he was still in the area) and returned within 10 minutes. Otherwise, no complaints.

Nothing stood out when they came to do the inspection. The big deal price was good.

He could not do the service because he needed approval from the home owner, and i am a renter.

Appointment was made professionally and timely. Even called on day of appointment letting me know that the tech would be there in 45 minutes. I had purchased the Angie's tune up and later that day before any contact the outside unit fan quit working. They worked with me to do a complete diagnosis and repair. The tune up cost was credited against the repair work. Price was reasonable and everything was explained as he went through that and the repair. This is the best experience I have ever had with my HVAC work.

The tenant in my rental property reported a leak coming from the central heating unit inside the home. I confirmed there was a leak coming directly from the heating unit, dripping onto the air intake duct which overflowed onto the hallway carpet. After purchasing a really good deal from Angie's List on Friday, I was contacted contacted the following Monday to coordinate a time for service. I initially did not know when my tenant would be available for the service call. After getting a few possible times, we set a date for the next day (Tuesday). On the service day my tenant reported that the service technician needed to reschedule. I called Environmental Heating (spoke to Rachael (I think) who was awesome by the way) to find out what happened. She had just gotten off a call with my tenant and explained that the technician got held up on the previous job - rescheduling for later the same day. Eventually, the technician came (on time for the rescheduled appt), identified the issue, and fixed it with no additional charges past my initial $39 Angile's List deal. I am a very satisfied customer.

They stayed true to the "Big Deal" they have promised. It's actually the second time that I used them. It was $131 more to replace the part.

Through no fault of Environmental Heating & Air, service has not been performed. This has been completely our inability to make room in our schedule. The company has been very professional in following up and very understanding when we have had to cancel scheduled appointments. I would definitely recommend them based on their professional attitude on the phone.

The original heating and a/c system from 1979 were in our house when we purchased it just over a year ago. They were functional when we moved in, but we did have to call our home warranty twice to "fix" the a/c. When the unit stopped working a third time, we decided to hire an independent company to look at the system. The system wasn't just old, it had been "patched" over and over, for years, to put off having to replace it. What's worse, every time the a/c was "patched" new coolant was added, which ultimately just leaked out to ruin the ozone layer! Matt called before he arrived and was very professional and courteous. He quickly identified that adding additional coolant would not help and he proceeded to show me the many problems with the old system, which included a filter that had fallen into the unit years earlier. In the heating unit, he showed where the walls near the burners were literally flaking apart. It was easy for us to decide that we needed new heating and a/c units, and Matt explained our options thoroughly and patiently. We chose units that cost a bit more than we would normally want to pay, but we wanted the units to be as energy-efficient as possible. My husband stayed home on the day of the installation and said the two young men were very professional. I was told it was NOT easy to remove the heating unit (it appeared that the house was built around the unit), and the workers had to dismantle it in pieces. We are very happy with the system and the service we've received from Environmental Heating and Air Solutions. One aspect we did not like, but that the company didn?t have much control over was that the duct work had to be resealed and the smell from the sealant forced us outside for the evening and lingered for many days after. Again, I don't think there was much they could have done to prevent it.

Excellent! The guys were there on time and performed all the work to code. They were polite and friendly and professional. I have used 3 or 4 other HVAC companies and this one is the best by far. I highly recommend this company.

It went excellent. The representative was very helpful and thorough and I will absolutely use them again and recommend them to family and friends as the need arises.

Technician was very professional, informative, and friendly. However, all the points listed on the tune up special were not performed. Basically the technician went through the HVAC to identify items that should be fixed or replaced. The final assessment was to replace the entire unit within the next few years. Unfortunately, I already knew the unit was getting old and tired but it still works well. I was expecting a tune up but instead I got an assessment and estimates to replace aging parts that were still functioning within factory tolerances. This seemed more like a marketing tool to drum up new business as opposed to a service call to tune up my unit as advertised in the tune up special. It was like paying to get an estimate to fix or replace my unit (which I can get free from any HVAC contractor) rather than the tune up I paid for and expected. While this only cost 60 I didn't get my money's worth as the work fell short of the items listed to be done in their advertisement. So while I give them high points for professionalism and punctuality I give them low points for actual work not performed.

Put us on waiting list on Friday and serviceman showed up on Saturday afternoon. Aggressively attempted to sell us new system and service contract on old system. Correctly diagnosed failed run capacitor.

Very professional. Showed me the capacitor that he replaced that was leaking oil. Did not try to upsell. Left detailed report.

The service provider was professional, friendly and very informative. He showed us the parts that needed to be replaced. He also showed us pictures of the leaks. He also told us about a coil that was extremely dirty that he also took care of. He did a great job, and I would recommend this company to friends and family without a second thought!
