Clark's Gables Roofing

Estimator arrived at the agreed upon time (after hours). The young man was professional and courteous. Am waiting for the quote via email. If we choose this company, I will add to this review.

Called for an estimate. The owner came out within a days and provided a very reasonably priced estimate. They began the project within a few weeks and only took 3 days to complete. Great communication throughout the project and great quality work.

Very punctual and professional. We had a leak that needed repair. This company shows up on time and gets the work done properly and at a reasonable cost. Would highly recommend this company for your roofing needs.

Went very well-owner came out to give estimate (free)-promised written estimates (recid next day)-committed to doing work, and free crew showed up and did it!

Very professional. Clark gave me the estimate and when the job started he was here. It was done in 3 days. All the workers were right on time. All went smoothly from tear off, materials delivery, replacement of dry rot lumber, and installation of new roof. I had a couple of spots that needed painting and they came right back and did it for me. Great crew.

Job went great. The crew arrived when I was told they would arrive; the owner - Clark - also came to assure the workers had arrived and the job started. The job was estimated to be complete in 2 - 3 days and they were done in 2.

Clark was on time for all appointments (estimate, day work was done, and follow-up). The job was done very well and all work was described accurately. The work was completed on schedule with no problems. I recommend this company highly and would use them again. Excellent overall experience!

After getting several estimates I knew that we were going with Clark's Gables Roofing. He was the only one that came up to the door before walking the roof and then came back and talked to us about what he thought needed to be done. He is the only one that didn't try to sale us something that we didn't need which was great. He told us it would be 4-6 weeks before he could get it done, which we were ok with. Clark and his roofing crew showed up about 6:45 on Monday morning and got started right away. I could not have asked for a more professional crew, they worked hard, fast and all with great accuracy. By the end of the first day they had made great progress and cleaned up very well after themselves. The second day was no different they got started about 7 in the morning and completed the roof, gutters and insulation. I have never seen a roofing job go as quickly and smoothing as ours did. I would definitely use Clark's Gables Roofing again and would proudly recommend them to anyone. Thank you Clark for a job well done!

Clark (Owner) will come to your house and do an inspection to make the estimate. He then went over everything with my husband and explained all options that we had available. He is very knowledgeable and fully explained any questions that my husband had. We had other estimates done and they were all in the same range, however Clark stood out to us. We went with his company and we are not sorry. We set the date and were told that it could possibly be sooner depending on how the scheduled jobs went. I had several calls with Clark's office staff and each one is very helpful and able to answer your questions. They are very nice and will send you emails or calls keeping you up to date on what is going on. Clark was able to get started sooner and they had the job done in 3 days and before a weekend storm came in! The crew came in and did a great job, Fast and efficient. Great job at everything including the clean up. They worked long days to get it done. Very friendly too. Clark will come by every day and check the work and talk to you to give you an update. Would definitely refer anyone to Clark Gable's Roofing!

I went on Angie's List and emailed Clark's Gables Roofing. I have a leak in my roof and the rain is coming tomorrow so I needed someone to come out as soon as possible. The first question that they asked me was how long since I had my roof replaced. I told them I just needed them to diagnose my roof leak and fix it. She said that their minimum for roof repair was $750.00. So I ended the conversation. Basically, to find out if I had a leak, and how large it was would cost me $750. If you look at their information on Angie's list you dont see anything that alerts you that their minimum is $750.

We couldn't be happier! The owner Clark is a great guy. You can tell he really loves what he does. He seems to have a very good report with his crew. The work was started on time and was completed on time. Everyone who was out here was courteous and professional. Clark came out regularly during the job and got up on the roof to inspect and make sure everything was going well. There are a lot of roofing companies to chose from and most use the same materials and can do a decent job. What you are really choosing is the overall experience and the workers that will be at your house for at least 3 days. In the case of Clark and his crew we really felt they were to notch and not only did an outstanding job, but also did an awesome cleanup which is important as anyone who has ever had a roof replaced knows a lot of nails come off the roof during the tear-off. Overall we are extremely happy and the roof is even better looking than we could have imagined. All the neighbors have complimented us on how great the roof and gutters look.

Did a great job of explaining what issue was. Was on time for estimate and day of work. Work done quickly. Since the fix we have had several heavy rains with winds with no further leaks.

The estimate was professional and timely and proved accurate. The workers showed up on time and removed the existing shingles in only 1/2 day. The total job was finished in 4 1/2 days, earlier than expected.The workers took care to protect the yard from debris during the removal process and were careful to remove all nails from the driveway each day. I am very happy with the quality of the work and with the experience overall. The workers were very friendly and seemed to care about doing a first class job. I would hire this company to do more work for me if the need ever arises.

Project went very smoothly from start to finish for the price quoted. The company removed a tiled section of the existing roof. The work was somewhat difficult due to the roof slope (8 & 12) and many cut hip tiles. The paper was removed and a section of the underlying plywood sheathing was removed. The area was cleaned of bat guano and put back together. The crew also mortared under the hip tiles to prevent a bat reinfestation. The crew also repaired a couple of loose tiles without being asked and that was not part of the original bid. Clark is an easy guy to work with and I will definitely use his services again in the future.

It went extremely well. I was amazed at the professionalism and quality of work. Clark was helpful and knowledgeable and patient with my questions. I am so relieved to have my roof done by a company I trust. I would give them a solid A overall, but perhaps a B on just one topic which was clean up. They did use tarps and caught almost all debris, but there's probably no way around a new roof being at least a little bit messy. Found a few materials in bushes and garage needs to be cleaned now. It was very messy and they got much of it but there is just dirt and debris everywhere in the garage particularly, I'm still not done cleaning up after it. But. They did also go above and beyond with certain other things like replacing a few boards and even using touch up paint. I researched a lot of roofers and I was really happy with the outcome.

I think that they worked out very well. There was just a few little issues. There was a little bit of cleanup afterwards. There was some branches broken in my driveway of my bushes where they backed up into the driveway. I kind of think they were a little bit unavoidable because they have to back up a big thing to throw the shingles in and stuff when they take all your shingles off you roof. I was kind of surprised nobody mentioned it to me and I just found them out there. But other than that, every single thing was really good. I think they did a phenomenal job. I thought the pricing was great. All of the communication was great. The only thing I would say is just some of the stuff like leaving some nails that I picked up, and just maybe the clean up.

Great experience! Clark had 5 or 6 guys show up on time, remove old roof, cleaned up as well as I had expected and ever made an effort to get all the little nails. Then 2 or 3 guys guys showed up to put the new roof on. It took them about two days. Meanwhile he had a gutter guy remove and replace our gutters. They look very nice now. The attic insulation was blown in from a hole they made in the roof so they didn't have to get inside my house and make a mess! Clark was onsite periodically to make sure everything went smooth. One thing we will say about Clark is that he's a great guy, communicates with you all the details, is bonded and insured (we checked!) and he's so friendly you'll want to have him over for dinner! We really liked him.

They responded quickly, inspected the area in question and determined the problem was caused by a missing window trim. They caulked the area and only charged me for gas to drive to the job.

From Jenny in the office to Clark himself, the entire experience was very pleasant and professional. The team they sent o the house arrived ontime and took great care to keep the are clean and left the yard spotless. Clark over saw the work personally which is hard to find these days. Compared to other contractors Clark did more for less money and double the warranty to two years as opposed ot the one year the others were offering. Only time will tell if the workmanship holds up but I have a very good felling that it will. If I ever have roofing needs again I would use these guys! Also a definite referral to any friends and neighbors.

I canvased many roofing companies to get a reroof done on my home. I can't say enough about Clark Bowers and his Clark's Gable Roofing. I had one "estimator" come out to my home and try to convince me that he was my best friend. He never got on the roof to me sure out the size, and didn't realize that I had been a roofer in years past. My own measurements were less than his, and therefore the materials cost should have been cheaper. I had another company say that they would send out their estimator and that I didn't have to be on site. I was told that I could, "come down to the office" to see the materials, etc? The thing is, that if you approve an estimate in your house you have ten days to cancel it. If you approve an estimate in their office, it is a done deal. Clark shows up and he is an easy-going guy. No drama, a lifetime of knowledge, willing to get dirty and meet me more than halfway. Clark's tear-off crew descended on my house like a swarm of locusts, tore of the old roof, cleaned up, and were gone in a flash. Clark's roofing crew were old-school competent with great attitudes. They even painted the flashings and eves to match the existing house color. They worked long hours, got the job done, and left the place looking clean. Of course the bottom line of a good roof job is that it should look like it was always like that. I can't praise this company enough.

I now have the best looking roof in the neighborhood! The owner, Clark Bowers, was very personable, responsive and brought a team of go-getters. All the workers were courteous, communicative and hard-working, cleaning up promptly every chance they had. I was home the whole time and they were pleasant and worked around me, as needed. You cannot go wrong with this company! I had a contractor friend help me decide on who to go with, and Clark was very responsive to him as well, and answered several questions at different times. They made what was for me a overwhelming task a pleasant one.

Clark was very professional, showed up exactly when he said he would. Required almost no money up front and did an excellent job. Even did some minor repairs without adjusting his estimate. We will use him again when the rest of the roof needs to be replaced.

He was a very pleasant and nice guy. I used another roofing company for the job. His price bid was comparable to the other roof estimates. I appreciated him taking the time to bid on the job.

Set up initial appointment quickly, did repair timely. Price was reasonable, recommended someone to repair drywall. With further heavy rains it is clear repair was successful.
