Description of Work: Took the architects drawings. Did not give bid and does not answer phone.

Description of Work: I had a very over grown garden beds, especially in the back, and side yards. I wanted to get lots cut back and weeded out. I also needed gravel for a fenced in side yard under construction. I was leaving on vacation and needed it taken care of before flying. Lopez came, agreed to all details that he could do it and scheduled and came promptly to start the job within a week. But they started, and then said they'd be back soon to finish and bring the needed gravel (including wheelbarrowing and spreading the stone so we could finish that side job concurrently). It took several days and several calls to get Lopez back for the rest of the job (especially the stone). He promised brown rock and brought red brick colored rock -- which I accepted because we were already way behind the time on the other job. It was a heat wave, so I suggested the 4 trees we were moving might do better if we just dug the holes and moved them in the fall... But he insisted they knew what they were doing so I let him. All 4 died, despite valient consistent watering. And the day after they left, when the sprinkler system came on, I had fountains coming from all the leaks his men had cut in my 8 zones of drip. It took me two days to repair it all. I called his cell twice, and also his daughter (office mgr) but got no response so I did the work myself, knowing that it would all be dead if I didn't act immediately in that heat wave. And I was leaving town very soon, so couldn't just hose and wait. A fiasco. Very nice man, likely knows his business to a great degree, but had too much work on his hands at the time, and didn't handle it well. I was the collateral damage. I will never hire him again.

Description of Work: Felix Lopez is a professional landscaper with good experience and customer service. I used his company for basic weed control and clean-up on my 1/2 acre lot. The three men he dropped off were thorough and competent. My only concern was when I returned from an appointment and was asked by one if I had brought lunch for them, though this was never discussed. Also, the cost was pretty high, given the blunt nature of the skills required. I would definitely have to negotiate the rate to use them again, as $38/hour seems far too high for weed removal.
