My husband and I were extremely pleased with AK Tile. The work that Adam did was excellent. He explained all of our options to us clearly and also provided a written quote that included he details. The quote was more than fair and worth every penny for the excellent work that was done: Adam worked with our plumber and they took care of the details that involved each other. The work area was cleaned up each day, which we appreciated. They covered the flooring in our home which would have the foot traffic back and forth. Everything they said and did was very respectful to us and our home. My husband and I fully trusted Adam to be in our home even if we were not or if one of our kids was home without us. That peace of mind came from the integrity we saw in Adam. He earned our trust so completely that we used any other contractors that he recommended. The combination of Adamâ s work excellence and integrity makes AK Tile a company we would highly recommend.

Adam Kanwischer was very professional. He and his father worked together on the project. What we thought might be a simple tile replacement job turned into an extensive reframing, dry walking, and tiling of our guest bathroom. Adam walked us through from start to finish. Adam is a combination of a tradesman and an artist! He did a large backsplash job for us. It was tough due to the complex pattern plus an old crooked kitchen. Between the cabinets and the counters, his job was cut out for him. Showed up when promised and kept a clean work site. His bid was competitive and his value was priceless. We are obviously fan because of the beautiful kitchen he helped to create. We recommend him highly.

Adam does a great a job, and is very pleasant to deal with. He gave me a good bid right off the bat over the phone to install tiles in the entranceway of our house. Adam did a great job laying out the tile. I was one tile short, because I had ordered the tile ahead of time and miscalculated. No problem, Adam waited for the shipment to come, promptly returned and finished the job. You really couldn't ask for more in terms of both the quality of work and friendly, reliable person. Our entranceway looks great.

He called us back right away. He asked relevant questions and listened to what we said. He gave us options to make the house look it's best. He did a wonderful job. We are probably going to hire him for our tile floors as well. Highly satisfied customer.

Adam did a terrific job tiling the floors in our two bathrooms. He knew exactly how to handle the challenges associated with older houses.

Adam was EXTREMELY professional. He was right on time, very knowledgeable and a gentleman. Adam provided requested quotation and insurance documentation right away. His work included cutting and installing new backer board and waterproofing membrane, tile setting, grout and caulking; all this in tandem with plumbers repiping work. The price was very fair and my shower/bath tile job looks great! I would rehire A.K. Tile in an instant.

We retiled our old fireplace moving from a 6 inch tile to a 5 inch hand painted custom tile so this job definitely fell under the â craftsmanâ category and not the easiest job. Adam is a true professional. He is very meticulous in his prep and job. He has a great eye and plans his work ahead of time. Adam did an incredible job installing porcelain tile backsplash in our kitchen; he is professional, timely, organized, and maintained great communication throughout the project. Adam did an excellent job creating a beautiful pattern with Roumbus shaped tiles. It was not an easy pattern and required multiple cuts. His work was precise, the outcome was stunning. He was clean throughout the job, kept us informed all along the way, worked consistently and politely. I highly recommend Adam.

Adam is a true craftsman when it comes to tike setting. Adam is professional, prompt, reliable, and trustworthy. He truly is a man of integrity and it shows in the quality of his workmanship.

Timely, knowledgeable, hard worker completed the work within the amount of hours that was discussed and very clean and extremely polite does good clean work

Adam lacks basic installation knowledge of tile waterproofing, and uncoupling membranes, along with tiling itself. Does not follow waterproofing manufacture installation instructions, thus causing the product to fail. The representative of the manufacture confirmed this. Tile installation was poor, as well, not level with lots of lippage. Had to trash a couple of thousand dollars worth of good material because of this, on top of spending more time and money removing it, putting the project schedule further behind. His workmanship is sloppy and unprofessional. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend AK Tile at all.
