Description of Work: They came right on time. They were friendly and professional. They were very concerned about keeping my place clean. They wore booties over their shoes and laid down a tarp. They also explained what they found when they were checking out my air conditioner.

Description of Work: The Service Champions service rep showed up on time. He was very pleasant. I had him look at the heating system we wanted service. He stated it was not a unit they could service. The unit is probably circa 1950. He said it wasn't a "furnace" but a "burner" and they did not service that type of unit. He asked if we had any other system we need service on and I told him we did not.

Description of Work: I purchased the service, looked like a great deal. Quick response email. When I called to set up the service, was informed that the appt had to be set up by the landlord who had to be present when the service was performed. Not listed anywhere in info on the deal. I was paying for it. Landlord knew about it but could not be present, was out of the area. They refused to do the service without the landlord there so had to cancel and get a refund.

Description of Work: They sent a representative to quote the cost of replacing the heating system for my residence. He was very aggressive in his approach with a extremely high quote. After I declined, the company called me and explained the representative had been fired a few days after his visit with me.

Description of Work: Service Champions inspected and replaced our older one-stage heater with a new two-stage heater. I am happy to rate Service Champions as an exceptional company, doing outstanding work. They proved to be honest and trustworthy. They showed up at 8am, as promised, and were done by 12:30pm. They took the old heater away, and cleaned-up to the point you wouldn't know they'd been there, if it weren't for the shiny new heater. Getting a furnace replaced was much more expensive than I originally expected. Not having been involved in HVAC work for years, the cost caught me by surprise. Service Champion's quote was competitive, but higher than the other estimates provided. However, Service Champions promises the cost will not exceed the estimate, which is a pretty bold promise in my opinion. Service Champions also promises to re-evaluate the estimate if another contractor's estimate is lower for equitable products and services. After showing Service Champions a lower quote, they reduced their own to a very fair compromise. Service Champions will be our contractor for all heating and cooling needs. Service Champions is an honorable service provider, delivering on all promises and practicing what they preach in their mission statement and guarantees. I must add one qualifier - It's only been a week since the installation, and we have not yet had the required inspection, but there's no reason to believe we'll face any problems. When it's all done, and we've been able to evaluate the system for a month or two, I'll come back and offer finishing remarks.

Description of Work: During a routine inspection a crack was found in our furnace. They photographed the problem and reported it to us. They also took a friend of mine to the attic to inspect the damaged furnace. Once it was determined that our very old furnace was beyond repair and unsafe to operate, Service Champions met with me and provided me with several options for replacement. I was impressed with their plans and selected a new furnace and financial plan that best met our needs. | |A date was set for installation and all service was completed seamlessly; including permits and inspections by the county. Any questions we had regarding operation of our new system were addressed in a manner that has been easy to follow. | |Service Champions have been our heating/air conditioning service providers for several years. Description of Work: Service Champions provided a fair estimate for the work to be done, then followed through. The installation team did a terrific job installing our new air ducts. The ensured all was connected correctly, and even fixed some poorly-fitting conduit near the heater. They removed all old ducts and other materials neatly, and stayed late to finish the job. Finally, we appreciated the extra care they took to corral our cat who had run under the house. Service Champions did a fantastic job for us.
