Dependable Rooter and Plumbing

Andrew was able to clear out a nasty root issue and also fix supply line and reset toilet. It was a major relief to have him promptly investigate and repair all issues.

Dependable was on time and did what they said. It was 2 days befor Christmas and we couldn't use our plumbing because of the roots in the sewer in the street the city was no help, Dependable got it fixed and we enjoyed our holiday!

Dependable Rooter and Plumbing had the solution I needed to hear. On Christmas day water streamed out of the meter box and wasted into the street. It continued off and on for days. Three other companies came, they looked, offered quick-fix ideas but couldn't get to my job until after the holidays, and after I had the driveway torn up. Late on Thursday I called Dependable Rooter and Plumbing. Andrew came first thing next morning. He assessed the situation and asked if there had been other water issues in the front of the house. He described Dependable's success on similar jobs with other customers, proposed a couple of solutions for me to consider and quoted a final price. I opted for a new, larger copper pipe to be installed alongside the driveway, replacing the original water line which was 60 years old. Andrew called his team and they were ready to start work by noon. By the end of the day, the job was finished and ready for inspection. Much praise goes to Andrew, Jesus and the crew for the quality of their work, for their efficiency, for allowing me use of water in the house for most of the day, for disrupting the landscape as little as necessary, and because Jesus took a picture of the yard before work began, the crew replaced stepping stones, river rock and ground cover exactly where they were before. This company lives up to its name. Thank you Dependable for a job well done.

Went well. The person got it unclogged very fast. Took about 15 minutes.

The tech came back, took pictures in the crawlspace, provided an estimate, and took a 10% deposit, planning to come back the next day. The next day, Andrew (the manager / senior plumber) showed up saying he had looked at the pictures that morning and wanted to be sure. He went into the crawlspace and determined that the "leak" was not actually a leak but left over flux from a sloppy soldering job someone had done earlier, and that while that could shorten the life of the pipe, there was no immediate issue or leak. He suggested I wait before doing any work on that, and refunded my deposit. Really pleased with the honesty and quality control!

They did a very professional job. Stayed later into evening to get our hot water back online.

I've hired Dependable Rooter for 2 jobs and I've been nothing but pleased with the quality of work and service I've gotten. They've exceeded all other contractors I've worked with in terms of professionalism and quality of work. The first job I hired them for was a broken drain pipe in my second floor bathroom that caused extensive water damage to my first floor kitchen. Their response rate was exceptional. As someone who was trying to juggle multiple contractors at the same time, having their quick response and on-time scheduling really made the situation more manageable. They are really knowledgeable and will explain to you in detail what they're doing so you know what you're paying for. For example, the previous contractors that worked on my house mis-installed my bathtub's p-trap – this explains why the whole thing looked like a pretzel to begin with. The end result was a much cleaner install and with much better materials. The second job was a complete overhaul of my plumbing system. Since I had the walls gutted from the first job, I took the opportunity to create new plumbing for a future bathroom addition which involved having to redo all the plumbing. I am definitely a person who notices details and I appreciated all the work they did from beginning to end, including the little things in between. The whole first floor was properly covered with the necessary materials to prevent floor damage and the furniture/appliances from getting dust on them. In the walls, metal plates were placed over the studs to prevent accidentally drilling into them if you need to install shelves, cabinets, etc. When redoing the laundry faucets and drain, they made both boxes level without me even having to make the request. When removing the drywall, they were sure to cut the drywall halfway over the studs so that the drywall contractor could have a good place to screw the new drywall in afterwards. Even was mistakes were made (and that's to be expected from any job), they were very transparent in calling them out and correcting them. After each day, the crew was always diligent in cleaning everything up and leaving the house in order. Dependable Rooter's craftsmanship is top notch. Their service comes with professionalism and a high respect for your time and money. I highly recommend them.

They came the same day and they were willing to work the time around our grandson's nap time. Very professional and thorough. They also took extra effort to ensure that my safety was maintained. They made a call just before the agent showed, and he showed ID when he arrived. I thought that was very thoughtful. The job was completed very quickly, and everything was super clean when he left.

Had septic system problem that was quickly diagnosed and promptly fixed. First-rate service from initial call to solving the issue.

Angel was very knowledgeable about what to do and replace the o-ring. Unfortunately with the heat things were delayed but when he did arrive he was very quick.

Phil and Travis arrived at the scheduled time. I also received a call ahead letting me know they were on their way. They were both courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. They assessed the source of the leak and gave me a quote as to the repair cost. I do not know if the cost was comparable to other businesses as I did not have the luxury of time to shop around for other bids. All the workers involved with the project were very courteous, professional and punctual. They were neat and careful in the areas of work covering the floor, steps, or wall with pads or plastic. The work was completed in about three days and I feel that the job was well done. There was a problem a few days later when I noticed I had a leak again in the same area. I called Dependable and talked to China explaining the problem. The response time was very good and Sean quickly assessed the problem and resealed the drain pipe joints and tested them afterwards to make sure the seals were holding. The drywall repair was done the next day and I have had no further problem. I would definitely use Dependable again. The ladies in the office, Liz and China as well as all the technicians were very nice people to work with.

It went well. I scheduled a time with the office. They were excellent at providing all of the information I needed and they followed up with phone call and updates on the arrival time of the plumber in the field. The plumber, Sean, did a full assessment of the situation, provided some ideas for improvement/modernization for our plumbing system (we have a 100+ year old house), and performed the work in a timely manner. My wife and I were quite please with the service. He also offered us a $50 "new customer" discount without our asking for it.

I am very satisfied with the service. They did great. I would use them again anytime. Very good work.

Ariana cleared the pipes so bathrooms had proper pipe drainage. Ariana did an excellent job.

Great! Everyone I worked with was professional and responsive throughout. Sean and Chuy walked me through what they were doing, and answered any questions I had in detail. I really appreciated their communicativeness and focus on customer service. Would definitely use them again in the future!

All went well. Need a new faucet in kitchen. Will return to Dependable Plumbing for the next project.

Took most of the day for two people. Repair was successful. They cleaned up after themselves and left the area in good shape. The reason I put "Fair" on the price was that in the past I have mostly done repairs myself and so it is my time and a few parts. However due to a recent surgery I had to rely on others. So when I compare doing it myself to having someone else complete it, it costs more. The project was completed at the estimated cost and in the estimated time. There have been no problems since the repair.

The replacement went well but the cost seemed high. I had already paid for a water heater check up through Angie's list when the water heater started leaking so used them for the replacement.

Very dependable indeed! Sean Gallager came in for fixing a leakage issue. He was very helpful and service minded. Very hard to find those qualities with other contractors I have come across. I find him to be very detail oriented. The genuineness in trying the various options to resolve the issue, is what prompted me to write this review. For this quality alone, I will work with you folks again. I have used dependable rooter services earlier as well. Now, on an emergency whole in a road trip. I just did not dial anyone apart from "Dependable"

The process of setting up an appointment was a breeze. Associate showed up on time and was courteous. It did not take a him a lot of time to diagnose the problem and fix it. He was in an out in less than 30mins.

Sean and his team were very professional, patient in answering all our questions, helpful, and did a good job. My situation was a little bit complicated and Sean got Andrew, the owner, involved. Andrew was very responsive, patient, and helpful as well. It did take some time, but it in the end, Dependable Rooter and Plumbing was dependable. Everyone, from the office staff, to the plumbers, to the owner, are unique in their focus on customer service and wanting to get the job done well. It seems this type of customer service is harder to come by nowadays. Thank you!

Everything went very well. This company seems to place a high priority on customer service and satisfaction. From the sympathetic lady who took my original call, to the owner of the company, who gave me his card and told me to "call any time if I had questions", to the team that did the actual work, everyone treated me very well. Angel, the "project manager" kept me informed as to what they would be doing, and when they would be there. They made sure that every night when they left, I had running water, and kept the time the water lines were down to a minimum. I was very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of the entire team. When they moved the washing machine, they discovered a small hole in the kitchen floor, right next to the cabinets under the sink. I was afraid this was going to mean the whole floor, and all the cabinets and countertop would have to be replaced, but Chuy checked out the damage, and said that it was just a couple of boards that needed to be replaced, and they could do it without ripping out the cabinets, and at what turned out to be a very reasonable price. The pipes were pushed under the cement floor of the garage, and this was supposed to happen without having to dig up the garage floor. However, they ran into a problem with that, and worked most of the day on a Saturday, digging a very small hole through the cement floor of the garage, to fix the problem. They filled in the hole and covered it with a metal plate that night, and swept the garage clean, all at no added expense to me, which I greatly appreciated. When all the work on the pipes was done, Julio worked for two days, repairing the kitchen floor, replacing the sheetrock in the holes in the wall around the pipes in kitchen and bathroom, and replacing the cement on the garage floor. He did an excellent job on all of these, and I was very pleased with the results. This was a huge expense for me, but I think it was worth it. It's possible I could have gotten it done for a little less money, but I don't think anyone else would have done as good and complete a job.

Problem solved and since no parts were replaced and the work required only 15 mins, Shawn the plumber did not charge anything due to Angies list reference. Shawn actually used one of my metal hangers to create a snake and pulled out debris after opening the pop-up. I'd recommend them anyday, easy to converse with and came on time. The only slight blemish was a pre-notification 30 mins prior to arrival with a phone call/text which was promised but never delivered.
