The technicians were very professional and polite. Even though it took three visits the situation warranted it. We are very happy with the results.

The work done was partly based upon an inspection. I called and reviewed the findings with the owner, Andrew, to help me decide which of the items were necessary vs. optional and was then able to schedule an appointment for the next day. He was very helpful and answered all my questions. Ariana and Javier did a great job the next day. They were on time, professional, explained everything to me and cleaned up. There were a couple of things that required clarification, but everyone in the office was very helpful and professional and the job was done when they said it would be and Andrew was very fair and helpful in addressing all my concerns. I would definitely hire them again.

I had, I thought, a simple project: remove an old bathroom faucet and install a new one I had purchased at Home Depot. But when it comes to plumbing, things are often not as simple as they seem. Fortunately, the team from Dependable knew what they were doing, even when they encountered original, no-longer-standard-sized angle brackets, and a hole in the P-trap. They are not the cheapest plumbing service, but their prices are at least consistent, due to a glossy printed price guide that I was directed to more than once to understand how I was being billed for each component of the job as it grew in scope. But I don't mind paying for expertise, and I think the team earned their pay, because this turned out to be something that wouldn't have been a good project for amateurs. They were quick, they were clean, they were efficient and competent, and I'm very happy with my bathroom sink.

Overall good service work. Got an immediate call back for the quote requests. Patrick in the office is superbly professional and called and updated as promised. Jesus and Javier were great to interact with and knew what needed to be done. Two efforts with power auger device unclogged the hair blockage. My feedback is about the pricing model for what you get. The price for the "tier" charged isn't defined anywhere so you end up agreeing to a price since they are already there and to not lose 60 dollars. Other than the $59 to diagnose, credited to the final price, no estimated costs were provided ahead of time over the phone. When I compare the value finally received for the price paid, knowing that I know what is needed, I probably won't use their pricing model again. I would have liked them to clean the material that was in the kitchen sink that backed up from the snaking. Also I would have liked them to snake to the main line from the clean out opening in the garage so that I knew the lines were clear all the way. If I doubled the cost from last time a plumber did this, it should be about $180. But at $248, that's more than double the going rate, it is essentially the $60 I would have been out anyways if I declined the service. So if you know what you need, use caution with this pricing model for a simple snake out.

These guys are the Rolls Royce of emergency plumbing. We had clogged pipe that needed to be rooted with a spinning snake. Of course it was Saturday when all this happened. They answered the phone and scheduled an spot and wrong time We got two plumbers in two two trucks The Arianna had actually been a foreman on her previous job so was way above the skill level you would expect on a weekend plumbing call. They crawled under the house, photographed everything wrong and then pulled the toilet and ran the power snake. Absolutely perfect job. These guys are pricey but they are off scale good.

I decided to replace the older faucet with a new pullout faucet. Ariana did an excellent job diagnosing the problem and offering three options for a solution. The new faucet is a great upgrade.

Andrew and his team were punctual, knowledgeable and respectful of the property. They explained everything in detail before moving forward and left everything clean before leaving for the day. Overall it was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs

Javier did a great job - half an hour water was running through the sink without accumulating. Very professional!

All in all, it went very well. Crew was professional, did great work. Amazingly, we were able to stay in the house during the whole process. They’re not going to be your cheapest bid, but I feel confident that did an excellent job, and were worth the money.

Had to make some changes in the work on the fly. It was handle professionally and straightforwardly.

Ariana and Javier arrived when promised, which was within 2 hours of my initial call. Both were polite, courteous and respectful. They assessed the issue, explained the cost (which I felt was a little pricey) then got right down to the repairs. They also pointed out things for me to keep an eye on since my home is 30 years old. Very pleased about the timely service and interaction with Ariana and Javier, but was a little shocked at the price. Also I did not receive a copy of the bill, maybe that will come when they sync up the iPad with they main server.

Dependable Rooter and Plumbing just completed a huge job for us. I am so pleased that we contacted them to address our clogged sewer line. We previously hired another plumbing company however, they were not able to resolve the issue that day. After reading the Angie’s list reviews on Dependable Rooter and Plumbing, we decided to give them a call. Tech Andrew was prompt and provided a thorough assessment outlining each step and giving us two options we might want to consider. Since the hydro jetting did not resolve the blockage and restore the flow; and due to the age of the entire outside lateral (main sewer line that connects to the City Sewer System), we took Andrew’s recommendation to replace and install a new main line from our house to the city sewer system, a new property line clean out and install a new two-way foundation line clean out. With a qualified team of five (Andrew,Jesus, Ariana, Javier, Juan), they completed this challenging task in two days – Remarkable! The new main (lateral) was hydraulically pull from where the city main sewer line starts, under our front lawn, up to our house (more than 25 feet). Connections were completed, inspected, tested and flushed with the hydro-jet and camera. And when they were done, with great care, my front yard was put back in its original state.. AMAZING-- You couldn’t even tell they had been here. The entire process, from start to finish, was completely seamless and stress free. Thank you Andrew and many thanks to your wonderful Team.

Excellent expert and professional service from scheduling to execution and results

The work performed is first rate. There was a root caused blockage from the neighbor’s 2 year old fig tree, which was cleared on the first day(Saturday), hence no need for a portable privy. The next afternoon work commenced on digging to uncover the sewer connection at the corner of my property. They properly covered the hole with plywood anchored to the adjacent sidewalk to prevent any one from harm from falling in during off hours, and maintained that protection throughout the job. The next afternoon (Monday) the digging was finished at both ends, and ready for the in ground pipe replacement. By Tuesday afternoon everything was re-piped, inspected, and ready for burial. When they were finished Wednesday before noon, you’ never knew they were there. The soil was properly compacted and recovered with the surrounding ground cover and ready for final inspection from the city. Andrew and his crew were true professionals, were always punctual and on time, and we’re always willing to address any concerns. I will have no problem recommending their services, and I will have a talk to my neighbor concerning his 2 year old tree.

I wanted to take a moment to write about the exceptional work done at my house today by Dependable Plumbing. A valve that I use to turn off water to the inside of the house failed... It was about 5 pm, and I turned off the water to change a sprinkler head in my backyard, and when I turn the water back on, the pipe burst. I called several other plumbers, and none of them returned my calls. I called Dependable plumbing and received a call back within a few minutes. the person I spoke to said that while they didn't have any plumbers that could come out in the evening, they would have somebody there, first thing in the morning, at 6: 30 am. The technicians arrived on time and performed the work perfectly. Once the water was turned back on, we noticed that the sprinkler heads in the front yard where now leaking. I had only scheduled to fix the one pipe, but Dependable Plumbing came back the same day, in the afternoon and fixed the two leaking sprinkler heads. I can't thank Dependable Plumbing enough for the superb job, and excellent customer service they provided my family. Thank you Liz, and the Dependable Plumbing crew for taking care of my problems quickly, efficiently and professionally.

Isreal M was the lead and his team was great. They were there on time, paid attention to detail, and kept my small house clean while demolishing my old bathroom and replacing the rotting floor with a concrete slap. The tile man did a great job and discussed with me my options on how to configure the tile design prior to putting it in. While redoing the plumbing for the shower they also installed new fixtures for the second bathroom (the old ones were leaking). They were able to match the paint of the existing bathroom so all places that had to be patched matched. They cleaned up every day, which was important because of all the dust that was generated. I was very pleased with the new shower they created and installed and with the new floor. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a good plumber.

I had 3 simple tasks. Fix a slow leak in the tub by replacing the posi-temp cartridge for the Delta faucet, snake another tub to clear the drain line blockage and finally replace fill valve and flapper in a toilet. I asked for an estimate and plumber quoted ~$950. I asked how long it would take and he stated 1/2 hour to 1 hour. I said thanks but no thanks and paid the $59 for the estimate. The plumber was very knowledgeable and courteous. I had a handyman do the work for $100 for labor and $50 for parts. The plumbers seem nice and professional. The company policy for pricing seems crazy. Amazed companies can still survive with these practices when information and reviews are so easy and available to attain with the internet.

This was the first time that I used service from Dependable Rooter & Plumbing which sent two very experienced technicians (Mr. Courchane and Gopar) to replace a broken kitchen sink garbage disposal; and they did an excellent job! In addition, they let me know clearly what the cost was before they started their work. There is no double that I will recommend Dependable Rooter & Plumbing to anyone.

Andrew and Juan were prompt (early, actually, which was nice), courteous, and professional. Andrew explained the work fully, discussed issues as they arose, and completed the work well. We looked at another project that will have to be addressed in the future so I know what to expect in terms of results and cost. Overall I'm impressed with their professionalism and no-BS way of doing business. I definitely know who I'll call the next time I need some plumbing work done.

They could not give an estimate over the phone. Original appointment scheduled between 11AM-1PM, Called in the morning to reschedule to 3PM. Called again to reschedule to 5PM. Constant rescheduling caused us to reschedule other appointments which was a major inconvenience. Work came down to replacing the garbage disposal. Cost was $869. This was extremely expensive for the work done but my wife had already accepted the work so we had it completed. After the work was done, I never got an invoice. My credit card was charged. Constant requests for an invoice were never responded. I had to call the office to finally get an invoice. I would not use Dependable Rooter again. They were not dependable and very expensive.
