OK - there was a misunderstanding about the what the bid included. We had a lower bid that didn't include repairing the drywall. We took this bid because my husband thought it included the drywall. It didn't. They did great work, but that misunderstanding cost us $475.00. Otherwise, the guys were fast, polite and cleaned up everything nicely. I would use them again, I just would get the bid in writing for clarity.

Mariah from Dependable Rooter & Plumbing contacted me soon after I purchased the Angie's List Deal to schedule a technician visit. She worked with my schedule, accommodated a re-schedule when my schedule suddenly changed, and called the day of the scheduled appointment to offer an earlier time slot. As the "Voice of Dependable" Mariah provided exceptional customer contact and service--and she always made me smile. Technician Brian Saabedra came at the expected time (actually a few minutes early). He reviewed my issues and started right in with repairs. He did need to make one trip for parts, but the whole process was not long at all. When he finished he said to call if there was still a problem. And there was. So I called Mariah who scheduled Brian to return at noon the next day--which was a SATURDAY! Again Brian showed up a few minutes early, made another trip for parts, and took care of the problem. Mission accomplished! This was a bit pricey but after all this is plumbing and I'm certainly no plumber!

The owner came to my home to repair the disposal. I was impressed that the owner would come. He was nice enough, courteous, and on time. But I was totally shocked at the price to unclog a garbage disposal. Buying the Angie's List coupon didn't make a dent. To my shock and dismay, Andrew said he would not charge me. So all I paid was the $59. I was willing to pay something, but not prepared to pay almost $300 to fix a garbage disposal. That is outrageous.

It went as well as could be expected. We need more work done.

Dave added a P-trap to keep water from backing up in kitchen sink, as well as a new, quieter garbage disposal. He also eliminated the leak in the toilet by adding a new measuring device/flapper. He was thorough and made sure things were working properly. It all works great!

Dave did a great job, explaining it all as he went. Dependable will be my go-to plumber from now on!

I think I made a mistake by not objecting to what happened. They did the job that they were supposed to do, which was replace an outside water faucet. That was the deal, that was the offer that was made by Angie's List. They showed up and they were really nice guys. We get to chatting and we're all buddies and everything and then I show them the faucet and they say, "Oh, well yeah, so and so, and so and so, and that will be another $50 or $60 or something." Maybe, at least $40 or $50 extra. For some reason I said, "Yes, go ahead and do it and I'll pay that extra amount." I should have just put my foot down and said, "Hey, come on, the offer was $69. Either you're going to do it for that or I'm going to go complain to Angie's List and cancel the deal and get my money back." I did not do that. But I still have this little annoying regret that I let them get away with taking me for some more money than the offer included. I paid at least $40 or $50 more than $69. I still have a little bad taste in my mouth about the deal. They did the job, but they got more money out of me. They were here when they said they were going to be here. They did the job and as far as I know, the job works. I don't think it's very professional to change the price on a job. For members who are looking to possibly use this provider, I would say, "Sharpen your pencil and be sure you don't get charged more than you are quoted." They would probably not be the first people I would call. They were really nice guys.

Scheduling the install after purchasing with the Angie's List coupon was a little disjointed and delayed the service date. On the day of the install, I didn't get the heads-up call from the office that confirmed the time he'd arrive, as they said they said they would. But as far as the work, they're outstanding. I think the plumber's name is Steven (not listed on receipt), he arrived right on time. He is a pro, friendly, and did a great job. He was very clean as well. No mess or spills.

Great! The technician was very nice and friendly. He explained what he would do and finished the work quickly. They also provided an inspection of the rest of my plumbing. We found some issues, but nothing that required immediate attention and there was no push to buy more services.

These guys are pros! They even called to see if they could come early. We were really concerned about the leak and they not only fixed it but discovered we needed a new one. If it wasn't for these guys we were one "seat" from disaster. We are getting a new toilet (btw, never use plastic bolts to secure them!) and a new faucet Monday! The final cost below includes labor and parts and I have a credit with the coupon I bought.

Did a great job and gave advice on maintenance for other appliances

David was very polite and professional. We had slow sewer pipe over 2 years. He gave us a list of options to clean up our pipe. Hydrojet was his advice. David came next week as scheduled and spent about 2 hours. Afterwards he showed me the video of the inner pipe, Roots were gone! We tried snake many times, but this company did it very well with a huge machine.

David was punctual and completed the work within the one hour time frame. He (and his work) was professional and excellent. I've used varied plumbers in the past and none could compete with the work done by Dependable. Courteous, competent and capable. I definitely will utilize Dependable's services in the future.

It went very well. I am just wondering why the new bib does not look like the one pictured in the deal and their advertising. The faucets installed are just very basic and simple. Do they meet code requirements for Morgan Hill? Dave and Mike said I would be ok with the faucets and did not need backflow stop, etc. House will be sold within 2 years. We will see what inspectors say, if anything. I am satisfied with Dependable and would use them again. Office person on phone also quite pleasant. I have had such bad experience with Morgan Hill plumbers (Franks Plumbing) that I am happy to have had this done without glitches and dishonesty. Franks had botched the pipe repair job one year ago and would not stand behind their work. This was reason for this call. I cannot say enough about these folks and great attitudes.

Two young men came in Albert and Joe. They laid plastic over the carpeting since they had to go under the house through a closet access. They keep me updated throughout the process. They took pictures of the leak first gave an estimate then after looking at it more closely additional issues were going on. They were in and out in a few hours. I would definitely recommend Dependable Rooter and Plumbing. Ask for Albert and Joe!!!!

This company is awesome. They are prompt, stay within the budget, and complete the work perfectly. I had flooding in my home, so I needed to swap out the ABS piping in my home. I had hired a competitor who did a terrible job. I called Andrew at Dependable Rooter and Plumbing and made an appointment. Andrew and his crew (especially Jesus) did a great job... the work was impeccable and they even cleaned and swept up all the rooms after they finished the job. I would HIGHLY recommend Dependable Rooter and Plumbing for anyone looking for a professional plumbing company.
