We're new to septic and knew it hadn't been pumped for more than 5 years so we wanted to be sure we didn't have any issues and could rest assured for a few years to come. Chuck's was fairly priced and they young man who came out did a great job of explaining the system to me and gave solid recommendations for maintaining it in good shape. He was not high pressure with his recommendations and was very polite and patient with a septic newbie. Chuck's also recommended I locate the tank accesses before because they charge to find them. A nice money saving tip they could easily have not mentioned. The price shown represents tank pumping as well as a gallon of bacteria and a $25 off coupon.

They arrived at the appointment on time and pumped 3 tanks. This was a property that was just purchased and we needed to know if all was ok with the septic system. We were told that the pump on the septic was going out and would need to be replaced. We were given a quote of $2400.00 for this pump. They charged us $749.00 to pump out the tanks and $165.00 for the inspection of the motor. A few months later we noticed that the tanks were full again and we had not built on the property yet so I called and wanted to ask a few questions regarding what they did. I was promised someone would call back but never received a call. About a month later when I told my husband that I never received a call he called them. He spoke to Chuck who said he would look into it and get back to him. Again they never called back. We found someone else to take a look at the septic and found that Chucks had removed a float (which we found in the pump house) and disconnected a wire to the electrical. We ended up having this business fix the pump, replace the float, replace the lids, reattach the wire and add risers to the tanks for $1800 total. I would not Chuck's again based on our experience with them.
