I installed blinds throughout my home when I moved in eight years ago, and over the years one or two began to break or need small adjustments. Due to a busy life, and overall procrastination, I let things go. Finally made the decision to make some changes and fix what needed to be fixed. California Window Fashions were able to schedule me in to their full schedule and my blinds were able to be fixed and I ordered a new blind for my bathroom that was exactly what I wanted. The technician who came out to install was very knowledgeable and helpful. Even when something was not right, he was able to make the assessment that it needed to be redone the right way. When every blind was installed, it was done with efficient, professional and excellent service. Each time I call I get a response right away and there is a genuine focus on making sure I am a satisfied customer. I am always going to use them for all my window fashion needs and I recommend this company with great enthusiasm.

Professional and prompt. Beautiful install done in house. We had them install in a house back in 2005. They were professional back then and still are today. Very happy with their work and can't go wrong with Hunter Douglas.

Great! Sue (the lady who measured for the shutters) & the gentleman who installed them were both very personable & did a superb job. Sue even came out a second time to show us a small problem that was caused by tile we had installed several years ago in the kitchen. She gave us 2 different alternatives & wanted to make sure we understood what the issue was so we could make an informed decision.

TOOK THEIR SHOES OFF SO NO TO MARK UP THE HARDWOOD FLOORS. VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE INSTALLATION AND THE TIME IT TO TOOK TO DO THE INSTALL. THE BEST PART IS THE PLANTATION SHUTTERS WERE MADE IN AMERICA (WEST SACRAMENTO) NOT IN CHINA.

Very pleased with all our new window treatments up at Lake Tahoe.. They work well and are beautiful. Fantastic attention to detail by the owner and staff. Very eager to please, and to take the time to explain options, and how the product work. Willing to come back to fine-tune products that don't work or fit correctly. I have utilized the services of California Window Fashions in many of our homes over the past 12 years, and always with great pleasure in the results.

I highly recommend them. We've called them for subsequent warranty service issues and they have come out promptly each time. The price of service was competitive.

It was a very positive experience. They came to measure and then on the 2 nd visit brought the product with when they came to install.

The shutters took a few weeks to come in. The installation was fine and they were easy to work with.

Thanks to the owner of California Window Fashions insisting that Hunter Douglas replace the defective head rail with one of a different and superior design, our problem has been solved.

Excellent! Randy Crum came to my home shortly after I spoke to him on the phone. He brought a sample and discussed with me what my options were. Then he measured the windows and wrote up the order. Thirteen days later, I received a call at work and Randy asked me if he could come to my home after work and install the shutters. The installation was fast. It took about one hour. They fit beautifully and were just what I wanted. Huge improvement over the mini-blinds that were on the windows previously. Randy was prompt, courteous and professional. The job could not have gone smoother. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to others.

With my first phone call, we set a measuring appointment. Alex was prompt and very helpful with suggestions as this is a new house and all windows need treatment. I went to the showroom and was very impressed with the extensive display. The staff was so knowledgeable as I explored all the shutter options. Alex returned for the final measurement and selection of product and colors. He gave me very good advice on sun control, the type of material that best fit with my 'look', and saved us money by recommending vinyl shutters in the garage which are easy to clean. They were finished in the time promised and installation was scheduled. The installer was on time and ready to work. He was very professional, quick and left everything clean when he finished. I love the finished look. Every piece of advice given by Alex and his staff was right on! NOTE: For the window treatments NOT done by California Window Fashions (CWF), I used another company in the Bay Area recommended by my interior designer. I later discovered that CWF would have been almost half the price for the same products as the Bay Area firm. It was my mistake in not using CWF for all my window coverings!!

The installation went very well and quick. I was worried about the Skylight window because it is at an angle and is very wide. I was worried about light gaps, but they used some caulking and it looks great. I would highly recommend this company.
