+ -1 moreI buy a monthly service with them. The guy who services my particular property is really good. My first encounter with him he spent a lot of time talking about what type of bug I would see and all that kund of stuff. He's technically sound and they know what they are doing.
Description of Work: For pest control I use a company called Orkin. I was using them for years and then I stopped and I went with another company but I didn't like their service. So I returned to Orkin. They basically treat for bugs, treat the perimeter of the house and out on the sidewalk wherever they see any types of bugs. They also knock down spider webs under the eaves and that type of thing. I don't have bugs any more so its a good thing.

+ -1 moreIf you see a mosquitoes in between they will come out for free. I have been doing this for three years because my husband is highly allergic to them. It also takes care of other bugs as well. They call before thy come. They knock on the door to let you know they are here. I have no problem with them.
Description of Work: They come out and spray for mosquitoes once a month.

+ -1 moreI called them yesterday afternoon and have yet to hear back. The person who answered the national number was sympathetic to my seemingly emergency situation. I confirmed I would be home for a local person to call to set up an appointment. I never heard back. I was hoping to have this taken care of quickly and am disappointed I didn't receive a return call.
Description of Work: I contacted them for an extermination project.

+ -1 moreI had a letter going to their main office to Atlanta, and sending a copy to the BBB. The very bottom of the form has a tear off part that has account, amount due, $478.08, and the address of Orkin riverside. On the reverse is an automatic payment option. This is very annoying trying figure out what this is, when the manager acts like he doesn't know. I had been using them for 10 years.
Description of Work: They wanted $478 for my pest control, which was unclear how long it was referred to as a reduced payment amount. I wanted to see what was going on with this, so I called a manager and he acted like he didn't know what it was. Told me to mail him the form. I told him I would send him a copy.

+ -1 moreORKIN never gave me the promised $200 and when I called to get the bait stations inspected, they gave me a total runaround and then asked for an additional $900 to do it. I said forget that, and have gone with another exterminator instead. DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE!
Description of Work: I used this company for subterranean termites two years ago, and they never bothered to come out to check out the bait stations per the agreed upon contract. When the subterranean termites reappeared, and when a drywood problem occurred as well, Mr. Williams offered to reinstate the subterranean contract and do the drywood treatment for $2450. They didn't show up the first time, but eventually did the drywood and the subterranean work, though they promised me $200 off the price because of the no-show.
