I was very happy with the shower I had done, at first. But after they came out the second time to refinish our other bathroom, we noticed right away on the bathtub and the sink that it had what is called "orange peel" which are textured bumps on the surface of the area they refinished. We called them immediately after we noticed this and they sent someone back out to re-sand and polish the areas. While he was still here, I didn't notice the orange peel, but I did notice it a few days after he left. This was not ever mentioned to me as a result of refinishing or in any of the paperwork or the contract that this may happen. I called them again about this and he sent someone out a second time and when Greg came back out, he said that he would re-spray the product but not sand and polish it again. I didn't see any point in this resolving the issue, so I called the company and spoke with his supervisor, Jason, about what he said and he was very argumentative about it and Greg told him that he had already been here 4 times and lied right in front of me to Jason. Greg had left in the middle of this conversation and the whole situation just ended up very badly and was not resolved. What started out as a good experience did not end as one and I am very disappointed with the way it was handled.
Description of Work: They refinished my shower and then came back out to refinish our other bathtub, sink and tile in our large bathroom.

I was relatively happy when they did it, but I was not happy with the follow up. When I did call them it was still under warranty and I was not happy with the response to that. One of the things that I look for is the service after we have the work done because I think that is important too. When I called them up to look at something they said he did a better job than he normally does and he doesn’t work for us anymore. I had some concerns that I had before and I thought I would have them come out before it goes out of warranty. The young man who came out was nice enough. He wasn’t the same one who came out the first time. The first time he came out he did a better job than he did before for most people. I told them that if he didn’t do a good job here I would like to have it fixed. Then when they came out the last time it was the same thing. They told that they could still see some of their finish on there and they said there was nothing they could do for me. That did not make me happy. Eventually, I am going to probably have to have everything replaced and I really think that had they done what they should have in the beginning then probably I wouldn’t.
Description of Work: We used Miracle Method Restoration to refinish our bathtub, shower, both of our sinks and countertops. They put a coating on it.

In response to the member's comments: the member's project completed January 18th 2008 not January 2012 as stated. Miracle Method of Riverside has returned to the member's home on 2 different occasions for NON-WARRANTY issues. Please note our customers are provided with our warranty and care details on the back of each estimate and invoice. We were first contacted regarding an issue in May of 2009, the customer complained of coating separating in grooves of the tile. A technician was sent out for evaluation and found it to be hard water stains in the grout joints. The second time we were contacted in April of 2012 was regarding what customer thought to be peeling in the shower and sink. Again, a technician was sent back out to evaluate; the shower was inspected and found to have dirt and grime in the grout joints, it was not peeling explaining why the technician told the customer that the coating is still on his surface. The sink (out of its 1 year warranty) was found to have standing water around the drain. Both visits were found to be care and cleaning issues contrary to Miracle Methods warranty. The member's wall tile is still under warranty until January 18th 2013, Miracle Method will still handle all WARRANTY issues at no charge until that date. Miracle Method is fully accredited with the BBB and holds an A+ rating. Please contact our office, we would be happy to provide a list of customer references.

Robert and Jamie are pleasant and courteous to work with. They sent out a younger/novice employee to do the work, who didn't have stellar customer service experience. During the job the employee insisted that I go to purchase replacement rollers for the shower doors after they were removed when that was a part of the process for the repair. That shouldn't been my responsibility. Althought the surfacing work was done satifactorilly. During the reinstallation of the shower doors one door was broken. their was negotiation of who was going to replace/repair the glass door that they broke. They had to get quotes from glass companies that they use or High Desert Glass. I wish that I would have had a more experienced installer. I'm not disappointed with the over all re refinish, there a just the lack of attention that was paid to details.
Description of Work: I needed a tub, shower, and sink to be refinished.

In response to Mr. Brown's comments: All of our employees are well trained and receive continuing education throughout the year. The member is assuming that just because an individual appears to be young in age, he therefore has limited experience. As the member had no problems with the quality of our work, his big complaint is that he was requested to purchase rollers for his shower door. Our technicians are not in the business of supplying shower door parts nor replacing them . If the member had adequately maintained his shower doors, (they were extremely filthy and had never been cleaned) they might have lasted longer than they did. He also signed a waiver stating that we were not responsible for any damage to the shower doors, but we replaced that door at our expense for the sake of goodwill and customer service.
