Very, very well done! Jim is old school, he charges fair prices, does the work himself, does what he says he's going to do, and does it when he says he's going to do it.

Always on-time (or early!), clean, professional. Price was better than we expected. He went above and beyond though. Jim suggested that he could raise a gate and cement under the threshold and taper up to meet the house slab, which was WAY better than our idea. We LOVE how it turned out! I'll never settle for another. Jim's my concrete guy now.

McCabes Concrete did an excellent job adding the cement additions to my house. He was patient and understand with my wife and I when we were indecisive about what to choose and gave us great suggestions on what should and should not be done. Definitely a master of his craft. We will for sure be hiring him again in the near future for more upgrades to our house.

The job was completed as requested, on-time and for a great price. Jim is knowledgeable, reliable and takes his work seriously as you can tell by the attention to detail. I had a few others out at the house to bid on the job; Jim was by far the least expensive and definitely the most genuine. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

He was on time, very professional and I saw that he had a ton of good reviews on Angie's List so we called him out for a quote. The price never changed, it looked great and he was great to work with. He was honest and price was very reasonable. We even referred him to my parents to get work done in their yard. Overall, would definitely hire and will hire again if we decide to get more work done.

Jim did a great job. He came out and gave a free estimate, then kept in email and text contact, answering all my questions, until the day of the job. He arrived exactly when he said he would and worked through until it was finished that afternoon. The finished job looks great. He matched the pattern of the existing sidewalk so the addition doesn't look out of place. McCabes also had the best price by about $300. I absolutely recommend!

Jim reached out immediately after we contacted him and he made arrangements to stop by and provide us with an estimate. When he arrived we spoke at length about what we wanted done and the estimate for the work was very reasonable. Once we agreed to the terms, we worked with Jim to set the schedule for the work would be done based on when it was best for us. When the day arrived for work to start, Jim showed up on time and started working. The work was surprisingly quiet for concrete repair and did not disturb the neighbors. Jim kept us updated on the work and the complete repair only took two days!!!! Jim was very professional and a pleasure to work with. The work Jim did is amazing and the repairs look so great we wish we could have had the whole driveway done!!! We are very happy with our experience with Jim and would highly recommend him to anyone who needs concrete work done! Thank you Jim!!! You did an Awesome job!!!

We were very pleased with the job. Jim was very professional, he showed up right on time and got the job done withing the time specified. The concrete was reinforced with rebar. He had to add some pipe so that a drain would be at the correct height. He even allowed our two grandsons to put their handprints and names into the concrete.

Price was very good. Punctuality was good. He showed up.

How home improvement should be; on time, on budget and good quality. Price, communication, workmanship and cleanup was good. Strongly recommend.

We could not have been more pleased with Jim or his work. When he came and bid for us he wasn't the lowest bid. However, as we compared apples to apples not only did we feel confident that he would do the best job but we realized he was going above and beyond the other contractors and their bids. He reinforced the concrete, did a great job on the stamp, and was meticulous with the stain. He also acid washed our front porch and sidewalk and they look about a thousand times better. Jim was always on time, was right on target with his bid, was very easy to work with, and did excellent work. My kids even adopted him. We would highly recommend Jim to anyone.

Provided customized cut in concrete with professionally designed flow so that water from rains will not flood our patio. Looks great and we are well prepared for any future rain storms.

Everything went great. He is truly a professional and does great concrete and block wall repair work for residences. He is dependable.He lets you know when he'll be on the job the next day and he is prompt. He made sure that the new slab blended into the existing slab by using sawed lines and broom finish. To tell you about his business ethics and honesty, instead of repairing small cracks in our dog run, he said they weren't worth repairing now. He could have used this opportunity to make more money. I would totally recommend him to anyone who needs a small concrete and wall repair done.

Excellent. Jim did all the work himself, was professional, always showed up on time every time and is an extremely hard worker and a pleasant person. We are very happy to have found him on Angies List.

He came out and everything went well. He was professional but I postponed my project. I necessarily did not use him only because I decided not to do the project. The quote process was fine. He showed up, gave me a quote, he was very prompt but I did not use him for his work. It was a pleasant experience. The price he quoted me was around $6000 for the concrete work.

Throughout the entire project, Jim always kept in contact about scheduling and was very responsive to both phone and text messages. When he needed to make schedule changes he always communicated those changes clearly and was always able to work within my own schedule constraints. During the execution, he always showed up on time and did what he said he would do...and then some. His work was very neat?elegant even. Jim was always attentive to any safety issues, and given that at one point there was an eight foot hole in the ground, it was a fact that I very much appreciated. In addition, as he finished each day, Jim cleaned up and organized the respective site. He was extremely professional, patient with all my questions, and very pleasant to work with. I can heartily recommend him to anyone who is interested in having high quality concrete work done right.

Jim is a total professional. He is polite and honest and a pleasure to work with. He was prompt and efficient in both his work and answering questions for us. We could only afford a basic patio but it is still a wonderful looking addition to our backyard. Jim is the kind of contractor that you feel comfortable having at your home. He did not pressure us on anything and worked well with our budget. We will definitely be using his services for future work.

Mr McCabe showed up when he said he would and promptly set to work digging out and removing the gravel and rock that were in the way. He put down reinforcing rod, then set the forms and poured the concrete. He cleaned up everything and left the concrete slab just the way I wanted it. He even sloped the slab so that rain will run away from the house. If I need any future concrete poured he is the one I will call. I highly recommend him.

I had an irrigation leak under my driveway that apparently had been there since the house was build 10 years ago. I had Jim come out to give me a bid. His prices were fair so I scheduled him to come out the following week to start the demo of the driveway. Jim saw cut and removed about 30 sq ft of concrete so that I could get to the irrigation leak and repair it. After the demo Jim put up forms, installed new rebar, and then poured and finished the slab. Jim's work is excellent!!! Let me just say that in addition to his excellent work, Jim is a true professional. He is punctual, honest and knows his trade. I actually spent a better part of the day just talking to him while he was working. In this day an age its hard to find contractors of this caliber. I would absolutely recommend Jim to anyone who needs small job repairs like this. Thanks again Jim!!!
