As shown above results were disappointing.
Description of Work: We spent about 1000. Dollars to seal our carrera kitchen counters. He assured us that the stone would be sealed and would only require a small yearly maintenance.

I am very sorry Member was not happy with her countertops. When I first restored them in Jan. 2012, I explained they were Carrera Marble-very delicate and soft. I removed all the stains, honed and sealed the counters. I explained they needed protection after completion, and she should use glass cutting boards and place mats for the children. Any acid (such as lemon, vinegar, etc.) that comes into contact with the marble will break the seal and the stains would return. She said that she would not do that because of her grandchildren. She did not want to inhibit their visiting her home. She called again, due to additional staining after the job was completed. Because she was a personal friend, and even though she had not complied with my protective suggestions, I sent out a crew to work on the additional stains, gave her Intercare-our marble cleaner, at no cost, and asked her again to protect her marble. I basically redid the original job at no cost to her. Almost 6 months had elapsed, I have received no calls regarding additional complaints. July 1 Member sent in a complaint to Angie's list. It is our policy to Service our customers and fulfill their expectations, but we must be informed of any service required.

Requested bid for repair and replacement of marble and granite in bathroom and Kitchen.The owner, Mr. Cohen, came to my house and described the service he would performHe promised a quote within a few days. Weeks have passed and I have no received the bid. I telephoned the office... no response. I emailed.... no response... I telephoned Mr. Cohen's personal cell phone... He said he was with a client and would call me back momentarily... He still has not had the courtesy to explain whey he has kept me waiting.When he visited my home our meeting was very cordial. I cannot imagine why Mr. Cohen cannot fulfill his promise

Yes, the member is correct. I did promise him an estimate and did not deliver one. To be perfectly honest, at the time of my visit to his home,I got the feeling that his expectations for the job were not realistic. He was also being belligerent and very difficult at the time of the visit. I should have called him and turned down the job-I was wrong to do that and I apologize. The customer and the job just didn't feel right and I chose not to do the job. Marblelife/Los Angeles

Arrived on time for estimate and work. Worked very neatly. Because of some stains, the work took a little longer than estimated, but did a great job.
Description of Work: Had my granite countertops treated for scratches and polished. Had marble bathroom floor ground, polished and sealed.
