Make It Drain Plumbing

My experience with Marc at Make it Drain was fantastic. We had a problem with leakage under the house that we thought was fixed when we bought the place. Turns out two years later that something wasn't done right and we had wastewater accumulating from the kitchen. Marc from Make it Drain came out on short notice on the weekend to look at the job, and he gave me a great estimate, educated me about the issues, talked me through the process, and had a friendly but no-pressure approach. I had several other companies out to make estimates, and one of the estimates was three times what Marc quoted me!! When we arranged the job it was easy, and Marc and his guys showed up on time, did exactly what he said he'd do, kept everything super clean, took pictures to show me what was going on, and continued to keep me looped in so I understood everything. It was a painless process, done quickly and professionally. I will call them anytime I have plumbing needs!

It went very well. For the first visit, he identified the problem quickly and said there is a piece he needs to get. He returned and fixed the issue very quickly and with precision. 20/10, would hire again. He was also on time or early on both visits, that really helped cement the good impression they left with me. As I watched him work, he even explained what was going on and how everything worked. Yay for Make It Drain!

Make it Drain does amazing work! They know what they are talking about and they fit you into their schedule right away. They can handle all things plumbing related and only use the best quality materials when they have to do replacements. We had our main sewer line from the street back up. They ran a camera and discovered we had major root intrusion and the clay pipe had begun to separate. They dug an 8ft hole down to the problem area, ran a liner through the clay pipe and replaced the connection. We are so thankful to no longer have to worry about our plumbing backing up. We will be calling Marc and Ean for all of our future plumbing needs. This was a big job and I’ve never felt more confident in hired contractors. They are excellent to work with!

Pete confirmed appointment window day before and arrived within the window. He performed the service to the water heater quickly and left the area very clean. We would hire him again.

It was very seamless. I set an appointment and they kept me updated and was able to come earlier. They were fast and efficient, super nice too. I had quotes from other plumbers that exceeded what these guys gave me.

Six years ago when I received a water bill for $1500, he replaced a leaking water main line from the meter to the front of of our house. The original copper line was too thin and ruptured after 5 years. Several years later, our ‘special needs’ son developed the bad habit of flushing baby wipes down the toilet. After cleaning out the line several times, Ean recommended we upgrade the sewer lines. The old(1958) galvanized pipes and clay sewer line had rough edges inside that catch the wipes and clog the lines. We replaced 110 feet of clay pipe and a couple hundred more feet of galvanized pipes with P.V.C. lines and haven’t had any issues since. He also upgraded our water heater when it failed. He’s our first call for all maintenance issues at our house. His network of contractors is excellent. We are eternally greatful to Ean for all his hard work. We estimate he has saved us more than $10K over the years. It’s good to know we have a seasoned veteran who can handle any issue. We recommend him to all our friends and family.

Smoothly. Jose came and drilled up the brick where the 2 drains needed to be connected. They hydrojetted them from both ends and cleared one out. The two drains were then connected with new pipe and cement was poured and brick was relaid in place. It looks great. The third drain pipe was broken so they got a new downspout so it would drain into another garden drain that was open.

The guys were on time, friendly and efficient. Very pleased with the lady on the phone also. She called me right back with updates. Thanks guys. Great job! Leak stopped.

Marc and Ean were professional, courteous and fast. They informed of the options we had, making sure they tried to make the most affordable option work before whether they would need to open up the wall or not. Luckily, they made it work and not only did they repair the break, they replaced the pea trap and re-set the other pipes to make sure everything was secure. Plus, they guarantee all their work for up to 1 year. Very pleased with their affordability and speed at which they got the job done.

Make-It-Drain was offering a Big Deal for trenchless relining, so I contacted them to ask if they could come and give me a quote before I bought the deal since I didn't know what my total cost would be beyond what the deal offered. Marc responded promptly and we set up an appointment. When Marc arrived for the quote, I was VERY disappointed to be told that they were no longer offering the deal because Angie's List had pulled it. Too many people had bought it, then requested a refund when they learned what the total cost would be for their job. I felt like I was being 'punished' for doing it the 'right' way. I should have just done what everyone else did and it would have saved me several hundred dollars. Marc gave me an estimate for my job, which was still a reasonable amount, but I didn't schedule it right away since I had other work that needed to also be done and was waiting to get quote on those first. I contacted Marc a couple of weeks later and scheduled the work for 8a on a Friday morning. He and another worker were at my house and already working when I was leaving for work at 7:45a. Since I wouldn't be home to pay him after they were done, he agreed to come back the next day to pick up the check. I was surprised and impressed when he also set up the camera so I could see the work inside the pipe when he came to be paid. They were very professional, prompt and reasonable. My only "complaint" would be that it would have been nice if they had given me at least a bit of a discount since they knew that I was planning to buy the Big Deal, but waited to get the quote first. Marc even acknowledged that I had done it the "right" way in not buying it before getting the estimate.

I called Make It Drain after reading a ton of positivity about their service from my neighbors on the Next Door app and I was not disappointed. My call was returned quickly, Marc and his colleague showed up on time for a Friday afternoon appointment to inspect my hard-to-find-parts-for leaky bathtub faucet. After inspecting it, they said they'd need to call around for the correct part and get back to me with a quote. Marc called back on a Sunday with two options for me so we could get it repaired quickly. I selected the one I wanted and when they showed up with the part to replace, Marc told me they'd gotten it for less than he originally quoted me and passed that savings down to me. Talk about an upstanding business! And to top it off, they even helped clean up the flood in my bathroom when my stupid brother turned the main water back on while they were in the middle of the repair. (Oy.) I'll definitely be calling Make It Drain again for any plumbing needs.

This is actually the third time I used Marc and Ean, but this was a planned project and my apologies to them for such a delayed review. The first two were for emergencies. My first time I used them was in September 2016, some part to my water heater wasn't working so I didn't have hot water for a week waiting for a part from the gas company only to find out later the gas company doesn't repair... only give the part :/ while waiting for the part though thats when my neighbor referred me to them (in hindsight I should have just called Marc and Ean they would have got the job done faster). The second time was January 2017. The hot water spigot for my washer was leaking and sprayed all over when I turned it on. Worried about water pipe even if I shut it off, I called Marc and he returned my call promptly, even on his day off. Reassuring me it would be fine shut off until they could get it the next day and I could still do laundry using the cold water. It was stormy that day of their service call, I remember because they were still very prompt despite the weather and they dried their boots before entering. :) This last time is a happier note....I finally got my grill hooked up after researching for two years debating on natural gas or propane among other features... But it summarizes my experience with them nicely. Marc and Ean will be there for you for an emergency or planned job. They are polite, honest and experts at what they do. I really appreciate them accommodating my schedule and their promptness. Their prices are fair too. I think most of all I appreciate the time they took to educate me during each job they performed. Especially with the last job from helping me set up my grill because my patio is not level, to walking me through the set up, hook up of the hoses, turning off the emergency valve and putting the rubber stoppers on so bugs wouldn't crawl in. Ean demonstrated and let me try the hose connections and he even showed me how to ignite the grill ( only ever used charcoal hibachi..) then Marc gave me a thumbs up for a home made gas leak solution for my final safety check before I started grilling a couple days later :) I've recommended them to many friends should they have plumbing needs and they are MY ONLY choice for plumbers. Rest assured you will be completely satisfied with their work. MAKE IT DRAIN with MARC and EAN are HONEST, RELIABLE and EXPERT PROFESSIONALS.

Mark and Ian responded on both service dates. They installed the water line and eliminated the obstruction for the bathroom drain. I really appreciated their prompt arrival and both times they informed me of what they were going to do throughout the process and the waterline installation and obstruction were taken care of efficiently and successfully. They communicated honestly and performed their services professionally. Their honesty and reasonable pricing gives me the confidence to keep using this company again.
