I was going through a divorce and my soon to be ex and I needed to sell our house. It was understandably stressful. We had Donna list our home for sale. She also was going to help me find a new house for myself and my 2 kids. I had never bought a house. I didn't know what I was doing. Donna helped me so much. She was so understanding of my situation and so caring. Because our house was being sold to someone from China, it took a lot longer than usual. Also, I had no idea where to move. There were so many options. I was making decisions alone for the first time in almost 20 years and it was nerve racking. I was looking in 20 mile radius. I found homes all over in multiple cities. I sent Donna many homes from first thing in the morning till late at night. I was a crazy woman. Donna calmed me through the whole process. She many times told me how much she understood what I was going thru and that it was normal. She researched the houses I sent her. She knew if it was a good neighborhood, she gave me answers to all of my many questions I had on the listings, the terminology. When we would see a house she would listen to how I would respond. Even if I didn't say anything she could tell if I wasn't excited about it or if I was. She never ever pressured me. I don't like being pressured. LOL. She would point out anything that was concerning like a lowering in a floor, or anything that looked like it might be an underlying problem. She has so much experience. And homes that I liked the layout of but definitely needed remodeling and painting, she would give me suggestions so I could see if it was something I could do or not. She even could give me an idea of how much it might cost to make those changes. I am finally in my new home. I am beginning to feel a little more normal. I'm not sure I could have done it without Donna. I really worked that woman! LOL She laughed with me and listened when I cried. When you are making that big change to move, you don't want someone who just wants to sell you a house. You don't want someone who doesn't care what you are going through. Even in a good move it's stressful. You're going to want Donna. :)
