custom cabinets
 + -1 moreThis company no longer has a license under the name Elegant Design. They are now going under the name of Regal Woodworks and are now located at 2664 Saturn St, Brea, CA 92821. Their new license was obtain by another family member that was not on their previous license. All the owners and employees are still the same, they are even still using the Elegant Design trucks. After numerous phones calls, emails and an unclaimed certified letter we have filed a claim with the Contractors State License Board. My case is still pending. The contractor did not try to contact us within the 7 days that the Board requires and now it is in the next step. Overall they have very poor customer service after the contract was signed. Poor communication skills and use of unprofessional and inappropriate language to the customer. The work was very sloppy and not completed. We still owe them $1558, which was to be paid upon complition of job.
Description of Work: We signed contract on 9/6/11. On 10/17/11 my original kitchen cabinets were demolished. The new cabinets were to be installed on 10/31/11, but were postponed to 11/7/11. We were told that installation takes one day and another day for touch ups. My husband and I estimated about two weeks for the work to be completely done upon initial installation. Installation did start on 11/7/11 and it continue until 12/21/11 when all worked ceased without being completed.
