The opener was installed too close to an overhead garage fan , causing the fan blades to hit the opener control box! Upon advising Gene (the owner), he wanted to know if I was "crazy" to ask him to fix it at his expense. He went so far as to tell me that I had added the fan AFTER he put opener in!? ( fan had been there for 11yrs). He also hung the phone up on me requiring the phone call calling me crazy).
