I would never use this company for repairs. The repairman did not find the loose control board, then lied that he had. Another poor excuse for lousy services. I will have any repairs done that I must pay for done by the honest repair company that came to repair the hose, Norton.
Description of Work: This contractor was sent as the provider for our home warranty company. The gentleman was here for for about 15 minutes , decided our issue was damage by rodents chewing through hose, and it would most likely not be covered by the warranty company. The next day we were notified that rodent damage was, of course, not covered. We had another HVAC company come out to make the repairs to the hose. He told us although the rodents had damaged the hoses, it had not been the problem with the heater, the problem was actually a loose control board, which he attempted to stabilize, but felt it actually needed to be replaced. He did not want to replace it since it was probably supposed to be done in conjuntion with the warranty. I then returned to our warranty company. This HVAC company then called my husband, with no mention of the control board on their original invoice, questioned whether the hoses had been replaced and said they were going to call back. No return call. I called the warranty company company the next day and after several calls they informed me the company had said the control board had been burnt out due to rodent damage! The man at our house had never made any mention of a burnt out control board on the invoice or to us! He had not even known anything about the control board until my husband told him about it when he told him what the next repairman said. The hoses were damaged, we repaired them, no problem, but the board was loose and not working and he did not even know or realize it, and now he lies and tries to make it sound like he did. Incompetent and lying repairmen are what cause bad reputations in this business. The very reason Angies list is needed. I'm sure the repairmen are rewarded by home warranty companies for finding reasons to not make repairs, and by their companies for making bogus repairs of course.
