Description of Work: Had several leaks in about half of my roof. They replaced some plywood that had rotted away, took off the skylights and resealed them in place, took off the tile, replaced the old barrier, nailed each tile back into place. The job took two days. I would hire them again if any other problems develop.

Description of Work: Berry Roofing fixed a leak in our roof a few years ago and we were very happy with their service. So when it came time to re-felt, we called Berry Roofing again as well as two other companies for bids . They were the lowest bid. They removed all of our cement tiles, replaced the damaged plywood underneath re-felted then replaced all of the tiles. Even though they used the same tiles, our roof looks better than it did before! Great workmanship! This is a first rate company and a pleasure to deal with.

Description of Work: Roof tune-up and some maintenance. After a not so great start with one of their project managers and what I considered poor service, I was ready to get a refund and move on to using another company. However, Ron Berry contacted me directly and really wanted to make my experience with his company a good one. He did what he could to make it right and in the end I was completely satisfied. I feel that Ron Berry is a stand up guy/owner who cares about customers and the reputation of his company.

Description of Work: Removed old roof, disposed of all materials and cleaned area. Discovered plywood sheathing did not extend all the way to the end of eaves so additional plywood had to be added; rotted areas of eaves/facia replaced, installed new composite roof, roof vents, roofing felt, etc. Price was in line with other estimates I received but this was the most detailed estimate I received. In addition when I questioned the number of vents to be installed (12 ) versus 4 from other roofing companies he explained that this was the correct number based on the square footage of my roof. I verified this information by researching the topic and consulting the manufacturer's guidelines (all companies were using the same vent product) and confirmed that what Berry Roofing was telling me was, in fact, correct. My previous roof had not lasted as long as it should because it was NOT properly vented! In the 3 years that I have had my Berry Roofing roof the house stays cooler and cools off faster than ever before. In addition, their warranty was outstanding and transferable to one more owner - an important item for homeowners to find out when getting roofing bids. I had a wide range of colors and materials to choose from and was given a list of houses they had reproofed with the type/color of shingles chosen so that I could actually see what the roofing material looked like as a finished product. That was very helpful and I am very happy with the roofing material I chose. Berry Roofing was reliable. Showed up on time, did what they said they would do, and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend them and apologize for having waited so long to post a review.

Description of Work: Tile repair - leak. Removed tiles and installed 2 layers of felt, then reinstalled tiles. Representatives in the office were thorough and courtesous. Repair person was on time and explained what he was here to do, took pictures and showed me what his findings were also showed me his completed work.

Very professional. cOincidentally, I had a leak occur and asked for an estimate. They removed a huge portion of the roof tiles and sealed up the underbelly, replaced the felt and then put the tiles back for a fair price. They came on time and provided the promised services within the time frame.

Description of Work: Inspected the roof, repaired a few tiles, and repositioned other tiles. Serviceman was professional and informational. I would have liked photos of the broken or misplaced tiles to show me what he actually did.

Description of Work: Berry Roofing technician came and removed only half the leaves from my room since the roof is half tiled, half composite (flat); technician only removed leaves from the tiled portion of the roof. Same day, technician gave me a quote of ~$1000 to repair an overhang area of the tiled section of the roof. I requested a review of the quote indicating among other things that I would provide the 5 tiles for replacement. About a week later the technician gave me an amended quote for $500. Subsequently, I called the main office and asked did not the technician know that 5 tiles could be replaced as part of the promotion offered on Angie's List. The company representative stated that the technician did not remove all leaves from my roof because he focused only on the tiled portion but that the technician would be instructed to replace the 5 tiles in need of repair and complete the removal of leaves from my roof. I requested that another technician come to complete the job. | |I will not use or refer anyone to Berry Roofing.
