Excellent service & professionalism...

Berry Roofing was great to work with. From the time of estimate to the time of final inspection, they were attentive and cared about detail. Their team tore off our old roof, patched some of the wood and installed a new roof on both our detached garage and house. Their team was polite and on time each day. They also did a great job cleaning/clearing the area at the end of each day. The total job was 4-5 days. After the team finished, Ron Berry came by to inspect and had his team paint some of the siding on the roof that was not actually installed by his team and was previously installed by a local carpenter. I explained that the siding was not his team's work. He said that he still would like to have his team paint and seal it so as to ensure that the roof remained watertight. Great attention to detail and showed that he cared about our home overall and not just his product. Will recommend to others. Their estimate was higher than any of the other estimates that we received which is why I did not give an "A" on price. I understand that you get what you pay for and we were satisfied with the product and price overall. I just didn't understand the big discrepancy between their estimate and the others we received when they were all quoting pretty much the same service and supplies. Though, I will say that Berry's estimate was the final price and we did not receive any "surprise charges" during the work so the certainty of the price quote was nice. I'm not sure that I would have been able to say that about the other estimates. Overall, they did a great job!

It did not go well. It looks good, but they did not clean up the mess. I have found nails in the yard up to a year later. I would not recommend them to anybody.

I used Berry Roofing for my re-roof and I couldn't be more satisfied. The guys were cordial and did the job very cleanly and the roof looks great, even though they had to work on and off due to unforeseen rain during that week. All of the men were really friendly and very hard workers. Every time I pull into my driveway I admire my new roof. It may sound silly but it looks like a (newer) different house! My sister even asked me if I had repainted! The only problem I could mention for improvement is that they forgot to add the cost of the tear down of the garage shingles to the original quote. However, as soon as it was discovered they called me and let me know about it. Jennifer was especially helpful with answers and the paperwork and stuff. **UPDATE** I had to go into my attic to inspect the air conditioner and found they left it a HUGE mess. I understand that I did not put it in my contract for them to clean up the attic afterwards but I didn't expect them to toss all of their red solo cups into my attic in addition to the thousands of nails and torn apart shingles that are strewn about. There are several pieces of trash left by the workers as well. Pretty dissapointed to find this as I was so impressed with their professionalism before...

They bid on a new roof. I did not use them.

January 15, 2014 The owner came out to see the roofing repair they completed back in October. He said he could rework/replace the roofing area we were unsatisfied with at no extra cost. Within 3 days they came out and completed the rework/repair to our satisfaction. The roof looks good and the owner was very professional. He apologized for the problems we had before. The October roof repair - After the repair was completed, we talked to the contractor/spokes person about the areas of concern regarding the repair. He became frustrated with me over the phone and was rude. He said what do you expect its a repair. He did apologize later that day. I asked him to come out and check the work. When he came out to see what the concerns were, he disagreed with my husband and did not feel there were any legitimate concerns. We had 2 other roofers come out and agreed that the concerns were valid. There was NO leaking during the big rain we had shortly after the work in October. The concerns we had were about the look of the work and concerns that it might leak.

This is the most professional company I have dealt with in years, possibly ever. Each person I came in contact with by phone and in person was efficient, courteous and personable. The gentleman who did the estimate took pictures a, drew a sketch of the area, explained exactly what needed to be done and gave a very reasonable estimate. I did not even have to be home for the repairs and clean up left my property in pristine condition. Everything was done in a prompt, professional manner. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing roof repair or replacement.

All went well. Work done on time and professionally. Materials were modern and of high quality. Great communication with office, staff and workers.

Each aspect of the work was done with extreme professionalism and care for the home owner. The tear-off was down systematically to clean the premise of debris and to protect our home and gardens. For a large square footage high banked roof it was completed in a day. The installation crew was fantastic, completing the installation of the new roof in about 6 work days. The house and grounds was left in excellent shape with no stray debris. The shingles recommended by the company were just the right color and work perfectly to enhance the curb appeal of the home. Every question we had was answered promptly and all of needs were met. The bid, by the way, was some $8000 less than bids from two other well known Riverside roofing companies. Their work ethic was excellent as well, arriving shortly before seven each morning and working to just before sundown. Excellent outcome for us on all fronts.

Berry roofing did a masterful job replacing our worn out leaking roof. They were always on time and pleasant to talk to. I have not seen a more professional Co. in a long time. My wife and I will surely recommend Berry roofing to anyone who is interested in quality and honesty for a roofing project .

While we were on our way to visit a mountain cabin that we were in the process of purchasing, we contacted Berry Roofing and talked to Geoff Coates. He immediately agreed to meet us at the cabin. He was there when we arrived and had already made observations of the state of the current roofing and taken the necessary measurements. We were immediately impressed with his knowledge and thoroughness and we liked him right away. He provided us with full-color brochures and within a few days he sent his estimate. Although we had estimates from several other roofing companies, we decided to go with Geoff because of his professionalism and sincerety and his pricing and lead time was within the range we were looking for. We were not able to visit the cabin while they were in the process of roofing; however, Geoff sent us pictures of the progress. The roofing was completed in 2 days. Geoff took care of getting the required permits and scheduled the inspection afterward. When we did arrive at the cabin 2 days later, there was no evidence of the roofers having been there; the site had been totally cleaned up. We would highly recommend Geoff Coates and Berry Roofing.

The job went better than expected. Was VERY pleased with the work that the roofers performed. Luis was supervising for the majority of the time, and he was the most easy to talk to and work with. A neighbor friend of mine was a roofer before, and he came over to inspect the job while Berry Roofing was there. He pointed out some things that showed me what an excellent job they were doing. I would HIGHLY recommend this company.

Professional from the starting gate. Good price. Showed up on time. Had a neighbor who was a roofer and noticed what a great job they were doing, from the safety aspect as well as from the professional aspect. The workers were polite and professional and had time to answer questions I had in detail. Luis, a job site supervisor who was in charge was super easy to deal with and even did little extra tasks that I wouldn't have expected him to. I would DEFINITLY rcommend this company.

Had Two Weather Vaines attached to two roofs on our Property. On Time and Did the Job Right!!!!!!!!!!! Would Hire them again.

They were absolutely wonderful. Their crew came out exactly on time when they said they were going to come. They took the tiles off in places and repaired all the leaks. I was fortunate enough that it rained about a week after they left. The roof hasn't leaked a drop. I thought they were all very nice and I highly recommend them. They were not the lowest bidder but they were not the highest bidder either. I just felt like they seem like they would do the best job.

After getting several estimates from different companies and doing some research and talking to Mr. Berry himself, I was extremely impressed with their record plus the absolute total thoroughness of the estimate. There wasn’t anything else close. I am going to have them do the job when I get around to doing it. Their price was less than everybody else and it was more thorough. They were far and above and more thorough about everything. I was impressed with the way that he did the estimate and he showed me how they do their work. I've never seen a company before that actually tethers their men when they are on the roof. They also bring their own port-a-potty. I got the very strong sense that they are an extremely professional outfit. They are local and I would recommend them. I’ve seen their equipment and photos of jobs they have done. They are right on the top of the list on everything. I checked with the Better Business Bureau and they have never had a complaint.

If you are like me, you are always afraid of paying good money for bad work. Well, look no further if you want quality work with a truly professional company. Not only are their roofers employees, not sub-contractors, but everyone that I contacted from the receptionist to billing to the estimator and roofers were professional and courteous. They responded very quickly to provide an estimate and also for the work on my house. I appreciated the photos they provided of the problem before and after the repair as well as a line item invoice. Everything was explained and all questions answered including their work history, work comp insurance, and references. Were they the cheapest? No, but they were the best and the most professional. They also guaranteed their work in writing. So, if you want it done right, the first time, with a professional company with a long standing and solid reputation look no further. I know I will never use another roofing company. Berry roofing is for me.

Pros: Finished roof is very well done. Problems were taken care of promptly. Friendly workman. Cons: Horrible mess during & after tear off. We are still cleaning up - got tired of calling them back.

We spent over a week getting seven different estimates for a new roof for our home. We were most impressed by the knowledge and professionalism that we experienced working with Geoff Coates from Berry Roofing, and decided that we would prefer to work with them even though they were not the lowest priced estimate. They did work with us on price, and we gave them the contract. They started on a Monday morning, and completed the tear down and clean up that day. I was really impressed by their clean-up effort - they did a thorough and careful job removing all of the scrap and nails from the old roof. On Tuesday they worked until dark, and almost completed the new roof. Wednesday morning they finished the installation, paint-matched all of the vents and stand pipes, and cleaned up (thoroughly) again. As a manufacturing manager, I was also impressed by their commitment to safety. Everyone working on our job wore a hard hat at all times, and everyone up on the roof used a safety tie-down. Our new roof is beautiful, even better than we expected. It has added significant visual appeal to the house. We've had a fair amount of rainfall on two occasions since the roof was completed, and we have no leaks. We've also discovered that the additional venting has a major impact on removing heat from the attic space. Our house is much cooler than before (avg. five to seven degrees), and we're expecting substantial savings on our monthly energy bills. We could not have been more pleased with Berry Roofing. I don't anticipate needing any roofing work for many years, but I would not hesitate to use Berry Roofing again.

We needed to replace the roof on our new home. Berry Roofing was the only company out of three contacted that responded promptly and courteously to my estimate request. Not only were we given estimates on the different options we were interested in, we were shown samples too. As the work progressed, we were made aware of the need to replace some of the wood for the roof, and again, they were very reasonable in the pricing. The work was done quickly and the workers were friendly and courteous. The premises were cleaned up at the end of the day as promised. The roof's mettle was tested the day after the work was completed, as we had three days in a row of strong afternoon showers. It passed with flying colors!With the excellent warrantee and the professional workmanship, I do not think we will be needing their services again any time soon, but I would highly recommend this company to anyone that needs a new roof or a repair.

They arrived when they said they would be there. They worked all day, quickly. They cleaned up every day. They were very friendly and courteous people to do business with.

They were very good. They gave me a rather pretty wide window like from noon to 5:00. They showed up around 4:00 in the afternoon. They got right up on the roof. I think the two guys were there for about two hours. There wasn’t much to clean up and they were gone. It was very quick. We haven’t had enough rain. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.
