Wow. Talked to Jan in the front office and she was incredibly helpful in getting the inspection scheduled. The inspector was prompt in showing up for the inspection and I had the estimate in hand later that afternoon. Scheduling the actual repair was just as easy. I signed the quote and sent it back to the inspector. Had a phone call the next day to schedule the repair. Repairman was on time and efficient. He even showed me the before and after photos. Berry is highly recommended!

My experience was a smooth and convenient one. The estimator showed up within a day of the first call. He was punctual and informative. I believe the price was reasonable for the work performed. The work was carried out professionally on the scheduled day. I was shown "before" and "after" photos of the larger problem areas. this was helpful, for obvious reasons. If need be, I will use their services in the future.

Geoff Coates inspected my roof and found some minor things that needed repair, cracked tiles and some areas that needed caulking. He also fixed a valley that had tiles that were to close togther. He did an excellent job explaining the details of what he did. My sister and I were very impressed with him. I will use Berry Roofing again.

Sales person did not know of the deal that was available from Angie's List when he sent me a quote. Called in to the office and they sent me to an owner who recalculated my bill and told me that she would make sure all of her sales people knew of deals available. Very friendly and helpful. All paperwork came through email. All phone calls and emails were answered quickly. When I received my final bill, the original quote was listed. I asked the person in the office to look into the corrections. She did and sent a new bill the next day. Everything was handled very professionally and I would use this business again if needed.

Jean came out to rewiew job and give quote for estimate. The only one to demonstrate safety as he secured the ladder and took other safety precautions. Estimate was fair and work was done thoroughly. We are very pleased with the outcome and overall work completed. When I phoned Jean with some questions/concerns he was quick to address them and make sure we were completely satisfied! Berry Roofing did an amazing job at replacing my roof. Over the last few years since I purchased my home, I've been doing nothing but patching the tiles that fly off in the winds. I finally broke down and decided to invest in a new roof. I had multiple quotes, Berry Roofing was not quite the cheapest, but the products they sold me were worth paying the higher costs. It'll take a tornado to rip these tiles off. I'm a difficult person when it comes to contractors and my house. Every question that I had, concern, or dislike of how something appeared, Berry Roofing's team made sure to answer my questions and correct my dislikes. Review of staff and experience: Spent $1200 to repair a leak in master bedroom near chimney (work done on 1/29/2013) with a 2 year warranty. With every heavy rainfall, the leak still was there. Had them come out 2-3 times during my warranty and they couldn't figure out why it was still leaking. Blamed it on the chimney instead and told me to call a chimney company out. After replacing a chimney chase cover (two years later when I could afford it - over $500), the leak was still there after heavy rain. Now, since it's more than two years (only 3 weeks over the two years), Berry has opened a new invoice. Spoke to multiple chimney and roofing people this week and said that I basically wasted $500 on the chimney because it would not have been the original cause. Now Berry is requesting $1250 (with $500 "discount") for "new" repairs and only one year warranty. I've called to complain to management but they weren't in the office yet. So the estimator has reduced it to a net of $450. But I do not feel comfortable with this company if they couldn't fix it the first time and when asked to fix it within warranty, they blamed it on a chimney leak that I later found out was incorrect information. So now I've already spent about $1700 with no progress. Other roofers are saying that they'll have to pull up Berry's work and then some (further up the roof and the flashing) to find the real problem. Note: the flashing was not touched during initial "fix." Original estimator from two years ago is no longer with the company. However, if you get Geoff, then I'd ask for someone else or even ask to speak to Mr. or Mrs. Berry to ensure that everything is handled and/or explained. Geoff was one of the people that came out during my initial two year warranty and didn't provide me with a resolution or plan of action. He was also the one that came out recently and provided the $1250 estimate (not very descriptive, which I guess makes sense because other roofing companies said that they couldn't write up a descriptive invoice because the work could come out to be entirely different while actually doing the job versus initial thoughts). Review of owner (direct contact 2/26-3/4/2015): Spoke to owner, Ron Berry, directly to get my contract revised to a 5 year warranty and had it be repaired prior to rainfall. Prior to repairs, Ron called me again to clarify that the $450 were for broken/chipped tiles from fumigation (invoice stated around 20 tiles) and that the leak repairs were being done for no charge. $450 is around average for larger companies and found less expensive quotes. But since the guy was going to be on the roof anyways, I agreed to the $450. The repairman stated that the leak was due to flashing (as I had suspected) and added new metal. Unfortunately, I was out of town during the last rainfall and am unable to confirm the repairs. After it was all said and done, got another call with Ron stating that he would waive the $450 for my troubles. My main issue is if I hadn't called in to complain, then this would have never been brought to the owner's attention. And then I would've been out almost double out-of-pocket.

It held up very nice! It was very professional job. We were pleased. It was done in approximately 4 days with no mess or problems.

I thought their work was good. I appreciated that while ripping off the tiles, they kept them intake so that I could re-sell them! There is a part of the roof that might be leaky now years later. The leak wouldn't be anything that is their fault, just an effect of the fact that people are on my roof regularly to trim my trees. The owner could be a little more professional because he seems a little short with me at times. It wasn't a big deal, but coming from the customer service industry this is something I really value.

I felt the price for my roof was a little high. They could have cleaned up a little better after themselves. They are one of the best though! They have a quality service.

Berry Roofing was completely professional from the time we interviewed them for the job, through construction, final inspection and paperwork. They installed insulation and completed our roof in a timely fashion, responding to our concerns and questions without delay. When there was a problem, they immediately wanted to know what they could do to make it right?and they did make it right. My husband and I would not hesitate to use Berry Roofing again. We highly recommend them. A+.

It turned out just fine! It has held up okay so far, but we haven't had any real bad rain yet. It seems okay! The crew who did the work was great.

It was fine! I thought they did a great job and cleaned up well. I wasn't left with too much of a mess. The job was about a day and a little clean up the next day. Overall, they were good. At one point, their generator was down and they had to use one of my indoor plugs. It actually blew my fan and they ended up replacing the fan for me.

It turned out really good. They did a good job. They figured out all the leaking areas. The crew was prompt, quick, and did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves. They weren't the lowest bid we got, but you get what you pay for.

They were really good about daily fyi's and any extra things they found, they let us know. It turned out really well! They were clean and efficient. They showed us pictures of the roof along the way. They had very good communication from the office. They did my Father's home as well and they did such a good job that I recommend them to the church. I felt their quote to be very reasonable and we got two other quotes.

They were wonderful! Their work was exemplary and their pricing was lower than others I got a bid with. My house was built in the 70’s and my original roof was tile with no plywood underneath. Since their work, my utility bills have gone 20-30%. In 7 years since they installed the new roof, I have only had one tile come off and they came out right away to fix it. I have nothing but praise for them. They are one the best contractors I've dealt with in my entire life!

I had some communication problems with the workers and I didn't know I would be charged for debris clean-up. The owners did remedy all my issues though. The owners were good with communicating with me. The roof hasn't leaked since they put it on 2-3 years ago. I would hire them again, but I would be more watchful with the crew.

Everything was 100% perfect. I could not be present during the job but both of my neighbors, one of whom is very familiar with construction, were very impressed by the workmanship they observed. The work areas were completely cleaned up, so clean that it was hard to tell that a major project had been done on my house. The job was done in the three days estimated and the roof looks great. I was very impressed by everyone I interacted with, starting with Jean, who was the area representative and project manager and Jennifer, Beth, and Jan who were from the company office (If I forgot anyone, I apologize). Every afternoon, I received an email with project updates and photographs. Before the job start, Jean gave me a very detailed quote that contained everything about the project including all the materials down to the last nail. The final cost was only very slightly above the quote (less than $200) because of a problem the workers found when they removed the old roof over the garage. This could not have been seen during the original inspection. I was immediately informed of this so I could approve the change. Jean was very professional and answered my questions clearly and completely. I would not hesitate to use Berry Roofing again and would recommended them to anyone needing any kind of roofing work.

Their responsiveness was excellent and quite professional and friendly as well as being extremely timely. Proposal provided was extremely professional and detailed in easy to understand format (A whole booklet with info about them and products came with Proposal). Some have said they charge way more than others, but we actually obtained 4 bids and theirs was pretty much in line being only a few dollars more perhaps. Field and Office staff fantastic. Even the City Inspector intimated they did a great job on the roof and our City is pretty tough as code enforcement goes (at least from what I've heard from others).
